Veggies are always the perfect party snack! I always set them out if I have company coming over. It’s also perfect snack to keep around the house!
One of my favorite flavors is Tomato Basil, so I figured hummus would be a great candidate to add a little tomato basil flavor to!
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Chickpeas (Rinsed and Soaked)
- 1/4 Can Whole Pealed Tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 Cup Plain Chobani Yogurt
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Basil
- 1/8 Tsp Cumin
- In a blender of food processor add Chobani, chickpeas and tomatoes and blend until smooth
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Chill in fridge for a thick texture.
Garlic is my next favorite flavor! I have had garlic hummus before and absolutely loved it! I made the same base recipe as the tomato basil hummus with a few swaps.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Chickpeas (Rinsed and Soaked)
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Plain Chobani Yogurt
- 1 Tbsp Roasted Garlic
- 1/8 Tsp Oregano
- 1/4 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- In a blender of food processor add Chobani, chickpeas and roasted garlic and blend until smooth
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Chill in fridge for a thick texture.
I chose carrots, jicama, green, yellow, red, and orange bell peppers. Most vegetables go great with hummus. Other vegetables I love with hummus are cucumber, celery and radishes.
