Gingerbread Shortbread Cookies – Easy Recipe (Egg-Free)
These are my favorite gingerbread shortbread cookies for linzer cookies, gingerbread men, and even for making gingerbread houses! 


Gingerbread Shortbread Cookies for Cutouts
The yummiest melt-in-your-mouth gingerbread cutout shortbread cookies!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tsps Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/4 Tsp Allspice
- 1/8 Tsp Cloves
- 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Cold Butter
- 1/3 Cup Molasses
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350-degrees.
- Add the flour, powdered sugar, ground cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, sea salt, and cubed cold butter to a mixing bowl or electric mixer. Combine the butter and dry ingredients until the mixture is flaky (almost like making a pie crust.)
- Next mix in the molasses until the mixture forms the perfect dough.
- Roll it out on a floured surface, use cookie cut outs, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 5-10 minutes depending on the size of your cookie!
