Gingerbread Shortbread Cookies for Cutouts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tsps Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 Tsp Allspice
  • 1/8 Tsp Cloves
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Cold Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Molasses

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350-degrees.
  • Add the flour, powdered sugar, ground cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, sea salt, and cubed cold butter to a mixing bowl or electric mixer.
    Combine the butter and dry ingredients until the mixture is flaky (almost like making a pie crust.)
  • Next mix in the molasses until the mixture forms the perfect dough.
  • Roll it out on a floured surface, use cookie cut outs, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 5-10 minutes depending on the size of your cookie!
