Sushi Uptown at Enso Asian Bistro

 

After getting cleaned up from running and spending the day around town, Nick, his brother, Joe, and I met my family uptown for Sushi at Enzo’s. It was so cold outside. I was cuddled up in my winter jeans, boots, and a sweater. I’m thinking my brother brought the cold weather with him. That usually happens when someone from a cold state comes to visit someone in a warmer one.

I was so excited to have sushi two days in a row. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to eat sushi more and so now I’m catching up.

 

For appetizers, we ordered several items. My choice was the sea salted edamame! They are my favorite.

 

We also chose lobster rolls and chicken spring rolls. The lobster rolls were fantastic! The sauces were mouth watering and addicting. I had to save them for my sushi rolls.

We also ordered ginger salads and miso soups. I passed on the miso soup because it has mushrooms.

Nick and I picked some of our favorite rolls for our tray. It was my mom’s and Joe’s first time trying sushi. I remember when I hadn’t tried it, and the thought of it made me sick. Now, I can’t believe it took me this long! I love it.

My mom and dad split a hawaiian shrimp fried rice and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were the best I’ve ever had. Most rangoons are straight up cream cheese. These were straight up crab! I’m already craving them again.

I got so excited when our sushi came out! We were so hungry and ready to dive in!

We order two spicy tuna rolls, two spicy crab rolls, a California roll and a tempura roll with crab, shrimp, and salmon.

My brother and his fiancé, Karlee, ordered a tray of sushi as well. I was stuffed beyond normalcy but had no regrets. It was a good fuel for a Monday morning run.
