Because I was so tired and spent most of the day walking around Paris, I slept way past breakfast. That was ok though because I wanted to try out Bob’s Bake Shop next door to the hostel. My train was leaving at noon, so I had time to sit and work at the computer for a bit.
The owner of Bob’s Bakery is known for his fresh and organic food around the city. He has opened three shops.
I ordered a cafe espresso and a cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese.
Working at bakery/cafe was actually my first job in high school and so I have a love for bagels and cream cheese. Not the bagels you buy at the store, but the bagels that are made fresh in the bakery.
I also have a love for coffee and coffee art. The combination of rich espresso with a bagel and cream cheese was perfection.
I wish there were more shops like this where I am from. It was so relaxing to sit outside with my breakfast and work.
After breakfast, I headed to the train station.
The day kind of went downhill and you can read about it here.
