Because I was so tired and spent most of the day walking around Paris, I slept way past breakfast. That was ok though because I wanted to try out Bob’s Bake Shop next door to the hostel. My train was leaving at noon, so I had time to sit and work at the computer for a bit.
The owner of Bob’s Bakery is known for his fresh and organic food around the city. He has opened three shops.
I ordered a cafe espresso and a cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese.
Working at a bakery/cafe was actually my first job in high school and so I have a love for bagels and cream cheese. Not the bagels you buy at the store, but the bagels that are made fresh in the bakery.
I also have a love for coffee and coffee art. The combination of rich espresso with a bagel and cream cheese was perfection.
I wish there were more shops like this where I am from. It was so relaxing to sit outside with my breakfast and work.
After breakfast, I headed to the train station.
Can I ask you who created your blog??
I’ve done my own and I’m tired of the maintenance!
THANKS!
My friend and I created the blog. He is good with the tech stuff and I did the design.
I can’t believe you went all the way to France and chose to eat a bagel and cream cheese!
she had a bagel and cream cheese for ONE of her meals. Can’t we just give her a break?
So excited I found this article as it made things much qurckei!
I wish we even had little shops like that in my neighborhood, the closest homey cafe would be starbucks and then nothing for miles. 😛
Had you got your luggage by this point?!
Are you going to blog about your accommodations at the hostels? I’ve never stayed at one and am really curious what you thought!
I miss European bread so much! When I lived in Belgium, we had fresh bread from my host mom’s bakery every day– and that was the norm for every family. It’s just not the same here!
Sometimes all you need is a coffee and a bagel 🙂 Great photo quality Taralynn!
