DIY #BigBlogX Travel Tank Top!

Fed Ex must have known that I fly out in the less than 24 hours because they delivered my assignment package just in time! I’ve been waiting for weeks for this and it finally came.

My package had two t shirts, a pen, a lanyard, and a note with a new assignment! I feel like I’m on a game show; this is so fun. The challenge was right up my alley, crafting! I had to customize and design my #bigblogx shirt. I do this stuff all the time, and so I got right to it!

I do this with oversized game shirts. I draw on the tank with a sharpie before I cut. I usually lay one of my tank tops on top and trace. I cut the front side and then the back side. I put it on and if I need to make additional cuts, I do it while it’s on!

I cut a piece of striped fabric (because I’m obsessed) and hot glued it around the collar. You can sew it, but who has time for that? The shirt had a logo on the arm and i didn’t want to let it go to waste. I cut out the logo and attached it to the back of the shirt and then added sparkles to cover up the rough edges.

I paired the shirt with a vacation hat, jean shorts, and sunglasses! You can wear a sweater or cardigan on top, too.

I’m going to be looking fabulous in France reppin’ my #bigblogx tank!

It was super quick and easy. It gave me the idea to add fun fabric to the rest of my cut tank tops! Sometimes last minute/under pressure projects are the best.

I think France is a little cold on this time of the year for shorts. The T-shirt with a pair of jeans and a good cardigan is a lot better.
