Here is a great little alternative to the regular peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are my favorite. They are also surprisingly high in calories.I wouldn’t recommend them for a “snack food”. A typical peanut butter and jelly sandwich can rack up to around 500 calories. Ex: 2 Tbsp Jelly=100 calories, 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter = 200 calories, 2 Slices Whole Grain Bread = 200 calories. The amount of calories is perfect for a meal, but not for snacking.
For my snack today I made little PB2 & Jelly ThinCakes.
4 Flax Seed ThinCakes
1 Tbsp Black Berry Jelly
1 Tbsp Apricot Jelly
2 Tbsp Pb2 Powdered Peanut Butter
