Good Morning, Everyone!
Kyle and I are heading to Charleston today, and I’m so excited for it. The last few weeks have been crazy on my end, and I’ve been trying to shove everything into my days from morning to night. But some of those things have been fun stuff, too! I put my post together last night but fell asleep around 1 am before I could get it finished. Now, I’m up at six, the dogs have been let out and fed, the coffee is brewing, all is quiet, and I’m ready to write.
It’s been eleven days since the last recap post. Yikes! The reason I waited so long was that I wanted to keep our Charleston trip and Christmas separate from the recap post. I’m not sure if that was a good idea because I can hardly remember what day goes with what! Luckily, most photos have dates on them 🙂
I do remember Monday’s breakfast. Even though it wasn’t the prettiest, it was unforgettable. I scrambled up leftover chicken (spicy Szechuan & buffalo), two eggs, and guacamole. Delicious.
I had three posts to write on Monday, so I spent the majority of the day trying to get all of my work done, walking the dogs, and listening to Christmas music. For dinner, I had my Chicken & Veggie soup! I defrosted it on the stove top, and it turned out delicious. I have one more container left of my soup, so I’ll have to try out another soup to freeze! If you know any good soup recipes, let me know.
And thank you, Land O Lakes for sending me this cute package! They gave me all kinds of fun flavored butter, a knife with my blog name on it, and a Pioneer Woman cookbook! 😀
I found the best popcorn! If you don’t like garlic, you will not like it. It could keep vampires away for years because of how robust the flavor is. All I needed was a bowl of marinara sauce, and it was like breadsticks in popcorn form.
On Tuesday, I had a late breakfast/early lunch with some leftover soup. I added avocado and sweet potato this time to add more carbs and healthy fats.
I spent all of Tuesday working on my ornaments. I made fun ones for friends and family to go with their Christmas gifts. I will put the tutorial up so you can make them next year! I decided not to post it until after the holidays because I don’t want my family to see what I got/made them. I’m like that with gift guides. I hate doing them because my family reads my blog and I don’t want them seeing what I got them. I’ll post some of the things I bought after Christmas!
And it has been forever since I’ve made zucchini pizzas! I was craving them on Tuesday night 🙂 These zucchini pizzas have pizza sauce, GoVeggie Cheese, and Applegate turkey pepperonis! They are so easy to make, and I could probably eat them every night of the week.
Wednesday’s breakfast: Scrambled eggs, turkey pepperonis, guacamole, and spicy hummus. My meals are not always pretty, but they do taste good 🙂
Wednesday Lunch: my chicken and veggie soup with sea salt rice crackers!
I ended up buying the BISSELL Little Green ProHeat upholstery & carpet cleaner last week, and I was in heaven. BEST. PURCHASE. OF. MY. LIFE. I deep cleaned every inch of the couch, all my chairs, the stairs, my carpets, and car! This was the best purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve too embarrassed even to show you what the before and after of my couch looked like! I have a pretty dark sofa, and the dogs stay on one side of it, but I had no idea how gross it was…The vacuum pulled every piece of dirt out, and it’s like brand-new. Although, now I’m ready for a new couch! I think it’s time to retire this one…
On Wednesday night after our long walks, I made a protein shake (chocolate pea protein, almond milk, banana, ice, and flaxseeds) and we (the dogs and I) watched Dirty Dancing 🙂 That is one of my favorite shows.
I headed uptown on Thursday so I could work from the coffee shop. I had a ton of work to catch up on, and I needed a new environment. I ordered an Americano at CoCo and the Director and sat by the window so I could look at the lights. Kyle met me later, and we headed out for sushi.
Sushi to go and a movie! 🙂
Kyle had a short work trip, so I dropped him off at the airport super early, and then headed home to have coffee and finish up some more DIY Christmas crafts before a night with my mom!
My mom bought me an early Christmas gift, and I love it so much. She bought me an electric kettle for my pour-over coffee and teas. You plug it in, push down the lever, and you have hot water in under a minute! I love it so so so much! I really don’t like microwaving my water, so I’m so happy I have this now!
Oh, and soup for lunch!
I finally finished my ornaments 😀
Protein Shake: Plant Based Orgain Vanilla Protein, ice, frozen banana, almond milk, and oats.
My mom and I picked up Chopt salads for dinner and rented Reese Witherspoon’s new movie, Home Again. I love Reese Witherspoon, but that movie was SO BAD.
My mom and I went Christmas shopping on Saturday!
I found this coat, and I am obsessed! It’s not something I would typically go for, but I got it anyways. I just think it’s so fun.
Everywhere we went, we found mugs with zodiac signs, so this must be the new trend? Pretty cute though 🙂
I ended up getting this book (but ordered it online instead of at Anthropologie) because it had so really awesome advice and tips!
Another AWESOME purchase: Eyekepper Vintage Computer Glasses-Anti-reflective,Anti-glare,Uv Protection (Amber Tinted Lenses 30% Blue Light Blocking, Tortoise) to protect my eyes while working on the computer for long hours. I’ve noticed less “bags” under my eyes and I love that it protects them! They were only $10!
And that’s my “I love these glasses” face.
My mom had never been in Dean & Deluca! I took her in there so we could grab treats to add to our packages, and so she could pick up some fun little gifts for my Grandma. My brother is staying in California this year for Christmas, so we are all over the place. I love that Dean and Deluca have packages made that hold up well enough to ship.
Americano with an extra shot of espresso for me!
I bought a Green Juice, too! I wanted something to hold me over for another hour of shopping. I knew I’d be back home with my Chopt leftovers in no time.
I got home around 4 pm…LONG DAY! I hopped on the computer to work a bit, wrapped presents, and had my salad. Kyle and I played board games and cards on Saturday night. Leo is always photobombing.
Early morning Sunday 🙂 I was excited about another busy day with my mom. We always bake together before the holidays, so I was excited! I wanted to get some treats made for her to take to my family. My grandma loves coconut balls, so I made her some!
Off to the grocery store!
I don’t see chips in there. Do you? They weren’t on the list…
Baking time!
My mom and I baked for about six hours, and it was a blast. But boy was I tired!
Sunday night dinner was so random. I mixed chicken and poke bowl together, but it was good. I like weird combos.
I spent Monday packaging up ten boxes to ship to friend and family. My living room was covered with ribbon, boxes, tape, wrapping paper, and everything you could imagine. Grumples guarded this bread for about one hour and wouldn’t leave its side. I think he thought it was his…
I put together the Muddy Buddies/Puppy Chow kit that General Mills sent me! It was so fun to make, and I loved how adorable the packages turned out.
I headed out to my parent’s house on Monday night after shipping out the packages. I wanted to see them before they left for the holidays. It’s so weird having my brother in California, my parents in Iowa, and me in the south! I think next year, we will all be together for Christmas. This is the first time in 26 years I won’t be celebrating with my parents, and it does make me a little sad, but there is always next year. It would have been too hard to head to Iowa with the dogs, Kyle only has a few days off for work, and it’s been a pretty crazy year. I would like to go for Christmas next year, though.
Dad’s stir fry fro dinner 🙂
On Tuesday morning, I felt AWFUL. I had no shame walking into CVS in green sneakers, turquoise jogger pants, and three bulky sweaters. My endometriosis got the best of me that day, and I wasn’t going anywhere. I planted myself on the couch with a heating pad, decaffeinated tea, and watched Gilmore Girls. I have a doctor’s appointment January 9th to get a new solution because I can’t deal with the pain each month. When you can’t stand, or think cohesively because of the pain, it’s just not normal. I’ve been dealing with this for several years, and it’s just gotten worse lately. I’ve tried not to complain about it on the blog for all of this time, but sometimes being open helps. I’ll keep you posted on the doctor visit.
I added little Christmas lights to the mantel 🙂
Tuesday lunch because I could barely stomach anything: almond butter toast!
My mom picked me these beautiful blossoms before she left on Tuesday 🙂 I put them in a little Moscow mule mug to make them look Christmas-y with the gold. I love that it’s December down here and flowers are still blooming. I had decaf (need a placebo) coffee, and ended up falling asleep around 7 pm after a dog walk. I was a mess on Tuesday :/
Thankfully I was feeling a lot better on Wednesday. Not fully, but much better! I started the day with positive thoughts, even though it was pouring.
Afternoon snack: Epic Jerky (my fave) and a Zevia.
Kyle came over after work, and we ended up watching movies and went on a long walk with the dogs.
I found these Koia drinks at Earthfare and they are absolutely amazing! OMG. Only 4g of sugar, gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. They are like dessert.
I met up with Meighan last night to walk the Christmas village at Romare Bearden park. It was a beautiful night!
We wanted to go try out Parliament, the new coffee shop uptown, but they closed at six. BUMMER. I hate when coffee shops close so early. I ended up grabbing an Americano at Dean and Deluca. YES, that’s water in my pocket 🙂
I ended the night with a chicken and kale salad from B. GOOD! It had grilled chicken, onion, tomatoes, kale, sunflower seeds, butternut squash, garbanzo beans, and brussels sprouts.
Even though I’ve only had five hours of sleep, I’m ready for this road trip! 😀

It was wonderful!
Have a very Merry Christmas, Charmaine!!
Smoke has amazing BBQ in charleston! I loved it when I went there and ate there probably three times during my short visit LOL I also got blue light glasses recently from amazon and LOVE them!
I’ll add that place to my list!!!
xo xo xo
I’m so glad you said that about that movie because I have been wanting to see it but it struck me as one that could be really bad! They were advertising it so much though for a while and I love Reese Witherspoon too! Oh well, we’ll have to wait for the next season of Big Little Lies! I haven’t been too disappointed with movies lately, the most recent one I’ve see was Star Wars which was great! I’m glad you saved me the disappointment from that movie though! I’m traveling to Quebec for the Holidays with my boyfriend to spend it with his family. We will be there for 10 days and it is supposed to be in the single digits almost every day! But at least we are guaranteed a white Christmas! I love Charleston so much! I haven’t been there in years but I want to go back soon. I’ve heard amazing things about Husk and Magnolias. When we were there we also went to a rooftop bar called Stars which was really fun. You can’t go wrong with any place I’m sure! They have such amazing food and atmosphere. Have fun and Happy Holidays!
Yes, don’t even waste your time!! I love Reese, but it was so bad.
Have a wonderful time in Quebec!!
Stars is a cool bar, we used to go there all the time in the summer! I’ve been wanting to try Husk, but maybe next time! We went next door instead.
xo xo xo
Hope you have a fun trip!!
Soup recommendation via my little newbie blog: Black bean soup. My husband and I can’t get enough of it!! https://momentarilypaige.wordpress.com/2017/12/19/black-bean-soup/
Thank you, Paige!!!
We haven’t been watching a ton of movies lately because we just haven’t seen anything that jumps out at us! It seems like there just haven’t been any good ones lately! Hopefully that changes soon because we love finding good new movies!
I’m just traveling in the state (Arkansas!) so nowhere to far at all from home! But, we have 3 Christmas’s to celebrate with family so we’ll be extra busy all weekend long!
I hope you can find a solution for your pains that you were having! That just sounds terrible that you can barely function with it! I can’t imagine!! Maybe there’ll be a quick and easy solution that will help you out!
Have so much fun on your trip to Charleston! I have family that lives there and they just love it!!
We just watched Nightcrawler and the Zodiac last night and those were good ones!!
SO BUSY, but enjoy it all!
Thank you for the kind words and I’m also hoping to find out a solution.
xo
I can’t think of a movie that’s let me down, but I can think of two that were hilarious in my opinion 1. Mike and Dave need wedding dates and 3. How to be single both my roommate and myself have watched them a couple of times when we’ve been bored lol, especially how to be single gotta love Rebel Wilson.
I always travel to my hometown which is lovely there is something about being with my family and having the traditions together.
I’ve never been to Charleston, but after reading your blog for the past few years you’ve made me want to visit a few destinations you paint an amazing picture 👍.
Merry Christmas Taralynn!
Those are great movies!!!
Have a great Christmas with your family! 😀
Please try out Basic Kitchen for me! I lived in charleston for 20 years (then NC for grad school, then Seattle, now Scottsdale), and i never found any healthy options. This place looks amazing!! Ps. When you get some time, I’d love to see your post on Grumples’ reactivity. We have a 1 year old GSD who has gone through so much training, but it seems like we have plateaued. Happy Holidays!!
I drove by it and it was PACKED, we are heading back to Charleston in February, so it’s on my list!!!
That one year mark is a big one for pups! They get testy!
You can send me those sweets if you want to!
Hahahaha next time ! 😀
Ah, I saw those macaroons on Instagram! They look so colorful and delicious. And how many mugs do you own? Is that Moscow Mule mug truly from Moscow? I wish you could invite me over for Christmas, looks like your house is so decorative and festive and alive with the holly jolly. I don’t really have too much of that here with my family.
They were great!
I don’t own as many as I used to 🙂 and that Moscow Mule mug is actually from Anthropologie lol
Hopefully you can bring that Christmas joy to your home!
Happy Holidays! 🙂 Give your pups a kiss for me.
Will do 😀
girl i feel the endo pain. went through countless birth controls, surgery to get rid of the tissue, pain killers – nothing worked! i didnt want kids, so my md agreed to a hysterectomy. i will send positive vibes that you can find a less drastic solution! endo sufferers gotta look out for each other! <3
That means so much, lo!! Thank you. Sorry to hear all that you’ve gone through!
Try myofascial release for your endo!
Will do!!
I stumbled across your blog from Bloglovin. I will have to try the organic garlic and kale popcorn. The zucchini pizza looks delish too. It sounds like you had a fun time with your family. I hope the doctors can help you come up with a solution for the endometriosis and all goes well. As someone with female issues I can completely relate.
Hi, Christina!
OMG that garlic & kale popcorn is amazing!!!!
So happy you stumbled upon my blog!:)
I will keep you all updated on the progress and doctor visits!
hope you stop by again!
Taralynn
I’m driving to my parent’s house today, but it’s only about 45 minutes away, so not a huge endeavor haha. The only movie I have watched in a while that let me down was The Good Dinosaur; it was so bizarre.
I’m sorry to hear your Tuesday was so rough :/ Glad that you’re feeling better though!
Your Christmas tree and mantle are SO PRETTY! I love love love holiday decorations and yours are gorgeous.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend Taralynn! Merry Christmas 🙂
Hi, Siobhan!
Hahaha it looked cute! Sad to hear it was a letdown.
Thank you! I have so much fun putting them up!!!
Taralynn,
I totally understand what you are dealing with each month. I was diagnosed with endometriosis almost 15 years ago. My Dr did a laparoscopy to see for sure it that’s what it was and did a laser treatment for what was then. Then I was put on multiple different birth control pills after but could not find one that worked well for me (they made me sick). So instead I went on depo provera shot which seemed to do the trick most months. However you can only be on it for so many years. After I tried bc pills again but still didn’t find one that worked for me. So then I was back to nothing. Just had the laparoscopy done again about a year and a half ago since me and the Mr. we’re trying to get pregnant, and they only found a tiny bit.
Here’s some things that have worked for me since then:
– heating pad
– Therma care Menstrual heating pad (wearable) got me through many days teaching! https://www.thermacare.com/menstrual-heatwraps
– drinking lots of water
– Vicks (sounds crazy right?!) But I love the smell of it and I would just put it on my lower back or ovary spot hurting and it would bring relief. *Just don’t do both heating pad and Vicks at the same time.*
– Raspberry leaf tea (helps with your uterus)
– DoTerra Clary Calm essential oil
Good luck with your Dr appointment!
Thank you for all the tips! I literally just wrote them all down. I never thought of using Vicks! I use ICY HOT lol
again thank you thank you!!!!
I haven’t really watched any really popular movies lately, but I did watch a Christmas movie that was almost TOO cheesy, and that was really a bummer.
I recently got married (December 9th), so we have TONS of Christmases to travel for. Apparently when you’re recently married, EVERYONE wants to invite you to their Christmas (as in distant family). Thankfully, they are all in driving distance.
I don’t have any Charleston recommendations as I’ve never been, but my husband and I want to visit there in the future!
Hahaha was it a Hallmark one?
Congrats on getting married! How exciting 🙂
Enjoy your time and don’t get too overwhelmed!!
You should definitely visit!
I loved reading this, and all of your recaps. But this one was so cute! Love the traditions you have with your mom baking and such! I also love your black boots! Where are they from?
Much love and blessings! Merry Christmas! 🎄
Thank you, Katherine!
Those black boots link is here!
XO HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS!
Thank you! ❤
Our electric kettle is everything! It’s one of those things you didn’t realize you needed until you have one. And then you couldn’t imagine your life without it (and that’s not an exaggeration haha).
I LOVE that you guys make all that food as gifts. Making food for people is definitely my love language. And it says so much that you put time and love into it!
We actually just watched The Magnificent Seven and I really liked it!
I’m so sorry to hear about the endo pain you’re going through. Having monthly killer cramps is bad enough, I can’t imagine knowing you’ll be in that kind of pain regularly. I honestly hope they give you some solutions to help. Prayers your way lady!
Have such a wonderful Christmas!
Hi, Susie!
I agree! I am so obsessed with mine 😀
Baking and spending that time with my mom is my favorite 🙂
Thank you for the well wishes! I’ll get some answers soon! 😀
xo
All that baking sounds fun and it all looks so good!! Hope you have a great Christmas!
Have a great Christmas, Tara!
I usually am one to watch a TV series on Netflix but the last movie that I remember watching was Moana. It was amazing by the way! Other than that, I don’t really remember the last movie I watched :/
We are not traveling this weekend; we traveled to celebrate Christmas with my parents last weekend, so this weekend we are staying home and hosting for my husband’s family.
I’ve never been to Charleston — so I am looking forward to hearing about your adventures there!
Merry Christmas and Safe Travels!
Hi, Jordan!
I haven’t seen that yet, but I know the theme song lol. I hear it all the time!
Enjoy your time!!
Charleston is a wonderful place! You should add it to your list.
Bad Moms. I heard such great things about it and it was such a let down. Not funny, cringe worthy and uncomfortable. I hated Kathryn Hahn’s character.
Hahahaha the Bad Mom’s two??
No, the original. I won’t be going to see the sequel
Fantastic post!! I feel you pain with endo! I have had to do the same and book a app with the doc, I hate the days when you can’t function cause the pain is so bad! I have just got to Sydney for Christmas holidays, and currently reading your blog while sitting on the beach. Have a fantastic Christmas!!!
Thanks, Harriet!
Yes, the pain is really bad, so hope I can get it figured out. Sorry you have to go through it as well!
Sounds like you’re enjoying yourself this holiday season. I love it! 😀
Your dogs are adorable!
Thanks, Pat 😀
Thank you for sharing the peanut brittle recipe. My family loved it.
So happy you made it!!
I have Endo too and I completely understand! When I was younger, the pain used to be so bad that I would vomit and beg to be taken to the ER. In 2016 I went to an acupuncturist who specializes in Endo every week for 6 months and it helped level out my pain… Unfortunately I couldn’t keep up with the cost because my insurance doesn’t cover it so I stopped going. Then the pain came back but this time it was terrible back pain, hip pain, bowel issues, heavy periods & pain, and so on… I was miserable. My doctor referred me to a Pelvic Physical Therapist and told me to give it a try (insurance also covered it). It was HANDS DOWN the best thing I have ever done. I never even knew something like this existed or that it was a “thing.” Look it up – it’s definitely not for everyone as it’s a very intimate experience but I had nothing to lose. I was desperate at that point and fed up with the exhausted list of everything I had already tried and it made sense – Endo pain causes internal spasms, trigger points, chronic pain, tight pelvic floor muscles, etc.
Hi, Brittanie!
I thought about looking into acupuncture but wasn’t sure. I will look into that because I have never heard of it!
Glad you found a solution!
I’m looking forward to your next book review.
Thank you! 😀
I always get so jealous of the carry out salad/healthy food options you have there!!! I live in the Detroit area and am always looking for a healthy option!
Merry Christmas!!!🎄
They actually have some good spots in Detroit! You should try 7 Greens!
Bummer about “Home Again” – the previews looked so cute!
No traveling thankfully; family coming to us! 🙂
I miss Charleston! 39 Rue De Jean is a great restaurant!
Sorry about your pain 🙁 I hope the Doctor can help!!
Hi, Kyla!
The previews looked so good, but oh well! lol I took one for the team 🙂
That is great! You’ll have a blast!
I’ll keep that restaurant in mind.
xo thanks you so much & merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, Taralynn
Merry, Christmas!
Have you tried myofascial release for endo? It helps me in so many ways!
I haven’t, but I’ll look into it! Thank you!
This whole post made me feel so festive, especially all the Christmas baking! I’m planning to have a baking day when things are a little less crazy between Christmas and New year so I’ll have to try out your oatmeal cream pies, they look delicious! 🙂
Hi, Natalie!
Thank you!:D
I hope ou enjoy those oatmeal cream pies! xo
Why didn’t you just leave your dogs with Kyle and go home for Christmas? Or why didn’t you take them to a boarding place? Sucks you didn’t go home.
lol, I had an amazing Christmas with my family. I would never leave Kyle or my dogs on Christmas ever.
You should do makeup tutorials! I love how light and natural it looks.
I’ll have to learn how to do the tutorials! 😀
All of your baking looked so good! I am going to make your oatmeal cream pies today!
Enjoy!
I make your cinnamon rolls every year as my tradition!
Aww so awesome!
Oh no! I hate to hear about Home Again. I just had my mom buy this for me on DVD for Christmas. My grandparents watched it and said it was really good. Hopefully I will still enjoy it.
You may! Everyone has different taste in movies 😀
Your Charleston videos are so pretty! Keep the stories coming.
Thanks, Artie!!
Do you mind me asking how much you pay for your apartment? and do you recommend it for Charlotte?
Hi, Brit!
I actually own my home, but there are some great places around Charlotte. Are you living here now or moving here?
LOVE THAT RED SWEATER! Where is it from?
Girl I need some of your energy and motivation. You’re amazing!
Thanks, Lindsay!
I used to do a little boutique on my blog and it was from there!
XO
Have you watched any movies lately that really let you down? Oh my goodness,it has to be “Nocturnal Animals”. Absolutely horrid. When i saw an ad it gave me impression that it will be on the dark side, psychological thriller or something like that, but nothing prepared me for the sadistic horror and meaningless suffering that it actually turned out to be. :/
On the brighter note- i love your writing style and the images you share, from amazing baking to much more simple put-together dishes. Thank you for being real, that makes you even more inspiring.
Sorry to hear you’re suffering from endometriosis. Have you heard about the author called Lucy H Pearce? She’s released a few amazing period and overall female well-being books, i couldn’t recommend them more. “Full Circle Health” and “Moon Time” are the titles, they were life-changing and eye-opening to me,especially on the subject of what hormonal contraception does to our bodies.
Warmest wishes from England!
Hi, Natalija!
That sounds very interesting. I’ve never heard of it!
Thank you for the kind words about my blog! That means a lot to me!!!
I will look her up! Thank you for the recommendation!!
Stay warm & happy holidays!
I hope you had a beautiful Christmas Taralynn, and I’m so sorry to hear your endo is flaring up this time of the year! I have pcos and had some issues on Christmas day as well and it definitely put a dampener on the festivities. I’m quite sure I’ve seen other people ask you – but would you ever consider writing more about your endo? I think it’s really helpful for other sufferers and women in general! I always love reading your weekly wrap ups and considering endo pain is sometimes part of that you should pop that in. Remedies for pain relief etc are always fab as well – I’ll try anything you recommend. I hope you have a wonderful new year and I can’t wait to follow along with all of your adventures on the blog.
Sharni xo
Hi, Sharni!
My Christmas was great, thank you! I hope you had an amazing one!
Sorry you have PCOS! That is rough as well. One of my friends has it. I do want to write more, especially now that I’m going to a new doctor who seems to really know a lot about it and we are seeking new methods for the pain. I do want to write about it!:)
Thanks for the kind words! HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR!
XO
Pitch Perfect 3. Yikes! Btw, I bought a Chemex for my husband for Christmas because of your solid review….(they should be hooking you up, btw) and we are obsessed with it. I’m going to have to get the electric kettle too! So much easier. Happy New Year!
I figured the third would be bad! They shouldnt have even tried!!
Awwwwwwww yes!!!!! welcome to the chemex fam!!!!
Hi Taralynn!
I’m so intrigued by those glasses to protect your eyes from the computer screen. I’m studying for my boards this month and most of my textbooks are on my computer and I get headaches all the time from starring at the screen for so long. Do you think the glasses are super beneficial and a good investment?
Yes! I can definitely notice less “light pain” to the eyes! I find myself squinting way less!
Hey Taralynn!
I love your blog. I’m from Lithuania which is gazillion of miles away, but been reading your blog for years, dealt with ED and happily overcame it about similar times as you, moved to Charlotte for school basically the same time you did, which I thought was such a funny coincidence!
Never commented before, but just wanted to say thank you for posting about endometriosis. I don’t have it, but had a horrible year health wise, have an appointment this week to check if a cyst disappeared (so worried!), spent Christmas in bed with shingles due to crappy immunity because of stress and tension and worrying about the post shingles pain I’m still having.
So, your honesty allowed me to feel stronger and not alone, fighting with some health related things that I rarely display to anyone. Thank you!
