I can’t believe it’s Friday already. The week flew by, which makes me very happy because I’m SO ready for the weekend. The weather has been crummy here and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get much better. I guess that gives me the excuse to stay indoors and watch movies all weekend. This recap post may be even more boring than the last one, but my life has been pretty chill lately and quite relaxing. I’m sure once the rain stops, I’ll be out and about nonstop again.
Since I left my last recap post off on Friday, I thought I should start there. It’s so hard to write recap posts after two weeks, so I’m going to try hard to post one every week.
After working and power cleaning on Friday, I went to get my nails done. I tried out a new nail bar that serves wine! I think it would be so much fun to go with friends.
For dinner on Friday night, I made my roasted vegetables, baked chicken and brown rice. This is a great meal to make because the leftovers last for days.
I relaxed on Saturday morning and watched five episodes of House of Cards. It’s getting so good!
Becca and I headed to the pool on Saturday afternoon to soak up some rays!
I was loving my new blue nails!
The water was so cold!
My Saturday night was so much fun. I know I usually take photos and blog everything, but I’ve been living in the moment more. I headed uptown to have dinner and wine at the Wooden Vine and then hung out with some friends. It was so much fun.
I had breakfast and coffee at the 7th Street Public Market on Sunday morning. If you’re ever looking for a place to grab a healthy breakfast, try the Local Loaf! It was delicious. My omelet had spinach, tomato, peppers and onion. Not Just Coffee is another one of my favorite spots.
Breakfast was followed by a ten mile walk! It took about 2 1/2 hours, but it was so much fun. The weather couldn’t have been anymore perfect.
Later that night I had dinner with Becca. I ordered a grilled chicken salad at a Pub in Baxter Village.
I decided to take a trip out to see my dad on Monday morning. Grumples loves going out there to run around in the backyard.
While he played around, I headed out for a three mile run.
I made breakfast after my run. I had half an english muffin with butter, two eggs and blueberries.
My dad guilted me into 18 holes later that afternoon.
It was an excuse to wear my new Fabletics golf gear 🙂
I did nothing but work and drink coffee on Tuesday. It rained all day, so I didn’t feel bad about staying indoors.
This guy is always super cuddly and lazy on rainy days too.
But he’ll get up for David Muir.
I was getting cabin fever on Wednesday morning, so I headed over to Beccas work to have lunch with her on her break.
We found an abandoned parking lot to have our lunch at. I’m not sure why those kinds of things excite us.
I had a Fuji Apple Chicken salad from Panera with avocado added and no cheese.
Becca had the Greek salad and I want to get that one next time. It was amazing! Panera seriously has the best salads.
Partner in crime.
I headed back home to work for the rest of the afternoon. I had some strawberries from the Peach Stand in Fort Mill, SC, pineapple and banana with a drizzle of honey.
Becca and her pup came over later than night so we could go for a four mile dog walk. It’s been so cool down here and the dogs love this weather.
Grumples loves to quit on me.
After the walk, I made some snacks to have while watching Nashville. I had carrots with roasted red pepper hummus, homemade guacamole and jalapeño Skinny pop.
There is something about having coffee on rainy days…it’s more enjoyable. I finished up some emails and blogs while drinking coffee Thursday morning and I did not want to get up.
This big guy needed some exercise and so did I. It was misting and a little bit chilly, but still perfect for a long walk.
He quit after four miles. Once he’s done, it’s a struggle. He’ll stop and sleep wherever he wants.
So I took a seat. There is no trying to get his stubborn butt up until HE’S ready.
After our walk, we went back home and I worked, did some grocery shopping and laundry.
I wasn’t kidding when I said my week was pretty low-key and nothing too crazy happened. There are a lot of things I wish I could blog about in this post, but maybe over time. Tonight I’m staying in and making baked glazed salmon, green beans and roasted sweet potatoes!
I hope you all have beautiful weather this weekend!
- What do you do when it rains all week?
- What are you having for dinner tonight?
- What movie should I watch tonight?
Chelsey says
Not a movie, but you should definitely check out How to Get Away With Murder. It’s such a great show! I just finished binge watching season two after being stuck inside from all this rain. Wish I had a dog to take on walks. I feel like it would get me outside so much more!
Taralynn McNitt says
I’ve heard so many great reviews about that show. It’s one of my mom’s favorites. Grumples definitely gets me outside more and I always feel bad when he doesn’t get his exercise.
Brooklyn says
Maybe I’m weird, but I don’t find your low key weeks boring! I find them relaxing, which I think we all need sometimes.
Lately I’ve definitely been feeling more low key. I’m sure with the nicer weather coming though more time will be spent outdoors.
I’m having a veggie burrito for dinner!
I’m watching horror movies tonight, so maybe have a horror night? They’re my fave 🙂
http://www.justbeingbrooklyn.com
Taralynn McNitt says
Well thank you Brooklyn! 🙂 That makes me feel better about writing them. Better than nothing I suppose?
I have to agree with you on that one. Sunday was beautiful and I definitely spent more time outside.
Veggie burrito sounds so good!
Horror movies are the best for rainy days!

Tara says
It has rained here all week too! I haven’t wanted to get out of bed! I have done some indoor workouts and caught up on blogging and scrap booking. I like rainy days every now and then, but I hate when it’s a whole week! I did run in the rain one day. I just can’t stand being cooped up all day!
Taralynn McNitt says
The rain will do that to ya! Bed is the best place when it’s raining because the sound is so relaxing. Being cooped up IS the worst. ONE or TWO rainy days is fine….but all week 🙁 Luckily its clear now!
Kristen says
looks fun! I’m starting a blog, have any tips?
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Kristen!
Here is a post I wrote about five things I’d do/want to know before starting a blog.
https://simplytaralynn.com/2015/01/24/five-things-to-consider-before-starting-a-blog/
Jessie M @ The Acquired Sass says
1. So, lately when it’s been rainy I’ve been doubling down on the coffee & staying indoors, but during the summer when it rains, I love to sip coffee & read a book on the porch. I get to soak up the fresh air, but still have my coffee 🙂
2. I made a homemade-ish pizza using naan as the crust. I added zucchini, red peppers, onions, jalapenos & feta. It seriously hit the spot.
3. Literally the last movie I remember seeing in theaters was 50 Shades of Gray. & it was so bad & expensive & crowded that I just haven’t been back to the movies since. So I literally have no idea what is out. But, one of my favorite movies of all time is Good Will Hunting. Which probably stems from my serious crush on Matt Damon.
It always cracks me up that Grumples just stops walking. My pup does that too. He’s 75lbs ish. And loves to run & walk & play, but when he’s done, he’s done. You can’t let him stop though, or he’ll never get up. He’s a drama queen. 😉
I made the mistake once & had to call my friend to come pick us up! Haha.
Happy Weekend!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hey Jessie!
That sounds so relaxing. Coffee and the rain to hand in hand, but sitting on a porch with it all sounds even better. That homemade pizza sounds fantastic!
I couldn’t imagine watching that movie in a theater! The awkwardness lol Good Will Hunting is such a great movie and I have to agree about Matt Damon!
Sounds like your dog is just as stubborn as Grumps!
I have to pay attention to my route and make sure its not too long or we are stuck for a while.

Dana says
1- I love rain~I better, having just moved back to Seattle! So I just go about my day as usual, which does include a lot of coffee.
2- Dinner tonight is a turkey and heirloom tomato sandwich with a side of broccolini and homemade potato chips from the local speciality market.
3- Prior to moving I was in a funk from a break-up and I got very into old movies, Charade, That Touch of Mink, What A Way To Go (I think that’s the name, Shirley McClaine is in it), and The Pleasure Seekers (Ann-Margaret). They were a lot of fun, the clothes beautiful, and light enough to give some cheer.
Have a great weekend!
Taralynn McNitt says
1. At least the coffee is SO good in Seattle. I always drink “Seattle’s best” coffee!
2 .Oh yum!
3. That is such a great movie list! Thank you!
Hope you’re doing well!
xo
Katelyn says
When it rains I usually find a random project to work on in my house but also relax and catch up on shows. It’s going to rain here tomorrow so I’m going to watch the episode of Jane The Virgin I missed this week. It’s a great show if you’ve never watched it.
I had a big salad with chicken, chickpeas, feta cheese,
Tomatoes, onion, and egg. I also had a bowl of tomato bisque soup. It was really good.
And lastly, hmm…I’ll go based on my mood right now which is to watch a really lame movie. Bring It On is on Netflix, I’d go with that. That movie is just terrible and silly. I’ve had a long week so need something mindless!
Grumples is so so cute. I am getting dog in a couple months after not having one for awhile and am so excited! Thanks for sharing your week!
Taralynn McNitt says
I started watching that show a while ago and loved it! I never continued for some reason, but I may have to get back into it.
That sounds like my kind of salad! & tomato bisque is the best, especially on a rainy day.
I watched that the other night before bed! It’s such a good 90’s movie.
Getting a dog is so exciting! What kind?
Taralynn!
Kelli says
1.) I get A LOT of cleaning done. Plus love to break out the old workout DVDs.
2.) I ended up failing and went to Jimmy Johns. But made it healthy(er) and made it an unwich and got a pickle for the side. Soooo, that’s better… right?
3.) I’ve been craving a good ol’ classic cheesy rom com lately. I may be watching a “Never Been Kissed” or a “Failure to Launch” here real soon 😉
Also… how is the jalopeno skinny pop? Saw it in the store and was tempted to get it!
Taralynn McNitt says
1. It’s a great excuse to clean! I did that and caught up on closet cleaning.
2. I love the JJ’S unwiches. They also have the best whole grain bread!
3. THOSE ARE BOTH AMAZING MOVIES! Never Been Kissed is one of my all-time faves.
ITS SO GOOD! the chocolate one is ALRIGHT. The jalapeño is worth the purchase.
Erin S says
When it rains I lounge and drink coffee of course 🙂 also try to squeeze in some house chores!
I had take out veggie sushi rolls for dinner, pretty lazy night! Also I watched bring it on!
Taralynn McNitt says
I think rainy days are gifts, just for that!
YUM! I need to have sushi soon.
Jamie says
Sounds like a nice and relaxing week! Are you still in school? What are you studying?
1. I love staying in and cooking. Maybe I’ll light a candle and snuggle up with some soft blankets.
2. I grilled some pork chops on the BBQ and roasted some white sweet potatoes, carrots, and regular potatoes. Yum!
3. Never Been Kissed. One of my all time favorites!
Taralynn McNitt says
Very relaxing week!!
That sounds like the perfect night. I did the same Friday night. I made sweet potatoes, salmon, shrimp and green beans.
ONE OF MY FAVES TOO!
Ashley says
It has been rainy here in Kentucky too! All of your meals sound so delicious and simple. I am heading to the grocery store so I am going to pick up some stuff to make those roasted veggies and maybe the salmon.
I just wanted to tell you that you always inspire me to lead a healthy lifestyle and strive for balance. So far I have lost 60 pounds and I have about 30-40 to go. So, thank you.
I plan on renting The Choice (based on the Nicholas Sparks book) for tonight.
Enjoy your weekend.
Taralynn McNitt says
Roasted veggies are so good and I love how you can eat them all week long. Hopefully its sunny for you today!
CONGRATS on your weight loss! That is so amazing and I’m SO proud of you. nice job!!
I just saw The Choice. It’s not one of his best, but it’s still good! The actor looks just like Kristen Stewart.
i hope you had a great weekend.
xo
Brittany Joy says
When its super rainy (like it has been here) I like to alternate between cuddling up with movies and cuddling up with my books! Its perfect for the semi-introvert in me. Also I agree that coffee is better when its rainy or snowy out! Tonight I’m going to an open house so hoping for some good cook-out food! You should watch If I Stay tonight, I need to watch that soon! Have a good weekend! Sidenote- your roasted veggies are my new favorite thing. I love that they can last me the whole week since my fiancé won’t touch them ;P
Taralynn McNitt says
That sounds like the perfect night. I did watch that movie and it was really good! Hopefully you had some good cookout food!
Thanks & they are one of my favorites too!!
Leslie says
Hey Taralynn! My life has been pretty low key too, but sometimes, that’s just what you need! Plus, your low-key weeks still give me some great ideas and inspiration for staying healthy! Also, I wanted to tell you how amazing Becca and yours friendship seems! It always makes me awestruck when the people you need most in life come along! I found the perfect quote on Pinterest yesterday about that too! Movie-wise I watched a movie on Netflix called “Run, Boy, Run” about a Jewish boy escaping the ghetto. Really sad, really inspirational, based on a true story, and a break from all the romantic lovey dovey type of movies. Have a great week!
Taralynn McNitt says
I agree!
And thank you. I am really blessed to have a friend like her in my life. I am so lucky. I will have to look into that movie. I’m always looking for something new!!
xo xo xo
Caitlyn says
Hi Taralynn, your week sounded like a lot of fun to me, I love having low key weeks where I can just sit back and enjoy the little things in life. We can’t always be go go go because then you don’t get to appreciate the down times ya know? ^_^. Anyways to answer your questions:
1. When it rains all week I really like to hit a Michael’s store and buy a bunch of stuff for little indoor crafts like trying out making jewelry or diy projects like decorations for my room, that way I feel like I’m still kind of being productive
2.For dinner I think I’m going to make a small steak with eggs, rice and broccoli because it just kinda sounds good
3.As for movies I personally love rewatching disney movies or one of my ALL TIME favorite movies The Sound of Music because who doesn’t love Julie Andrews am I right?
Hope you continue to have an awesome week and lots of fun and happiness ^_^
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks Caitlyn!
I think your so right. I never enjoy the little moments when I’m always on the go go go!
1. Michaels is a scary place. I love it so much! 🙂
2. Oh yum! I bet that dinner was so good.
3. I just listened to the soundtrack Friday while doing my hair! I like to sing along to musicals in the bathroom like I’m seven. I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of it.
I hope you have a great week! xo & thank you for stopping by to comment!
Heather @ Polyglot Jot says
Im loving lowkey right now too!! I’ve already watched two episodes of chopped on netflix, a documentary about adults with autism, and marley and me …..More movies to come! I loved house of cards!
Taralynn McNitt says
Your weekend sounds super relaxing!!! House of Cards is just killing me right now. I can’t wait for the new season.
Heather Kulengowski says
I love all of your pictures of Grumples! 🙂
Relaxing weeks are nice, especially when you have friends and a fur baby to hang with!
1) When it rains all week I do a lot of organizing in the house. When it’s nice out I don’t want to stay inside to do it.
2) Tonight for dinner I’m having a turkey burger (no bun) with mustard, a salad, and some strawberries!
3) I’m so bad at picking movies to watch. Haha. But, when it’s rainy like this I tend to gravitate toward Disney movies.
Hope you enjoy your weekend! 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you! He is a camera hog.
1. That is the beauty of rainy days. No guilt.
2. That is one of my favorite meals.
3. Disney movies are the best! I just watched Ratatouille the other night. You’re never too old for a good animation.
Jen H. says
Great post!!!
1. I hate rainy weeks. We just had one here in Illinois and it made the week drag. I always have such a hard time getting my butt to workout when it’s raining. I tend to try and get stuff done around the house when it rains (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, closet cleaning). I can’t get myself to do those chores when it’s sunny out so it’s the perfect time for me!!
2. BBQ chicken salad for dinner tonight!!! It’s my favorite summer dish and it’s so versatile. I can add any veggies I have on hand! Plus grilled chicken is my summertime staple. I have it with everything!
3. I suggest The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off! All oldies but goodies! 🙂 ENJOY!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Jen!
It does kind of make the week drag, but I tend to get more things done. That sounds like a delicious dinner.
THOSE ARE ALL THE BEST MOVIES!
Donna says
When I am stuck inside, it tends to give me more time to meal plan for the upcoming week. Absolutely adore the picture of Grumples sniffing the clover. You really got him at a great angle! So adorable
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Donna. He’s so photogenic.
I hope you have a great week!!
xo
Aimee says
We have had rain all week and I love it! I always snuggle in with my pups and watch some Netflix!
I had a boring dinner tonight! Chicken, sweet potato, and mixed veggies with hot sauce! Simple but delish!
I have just started watching Daredevil on Netflix. And so far I am loving it! If you are looking for a series, try it! Or Jessica Jones….I may be a slight nerd lol!
Love your recaps girl! They always make me feel like I am catching up with an old friend!
Taralynn McNitt says
Pups & Netflix. Does it get any better?
That is not a boring dinner. It’s healthy and delicious.
I will look into that! I bet its good.
& THANK YOU for the kind words about this post. I sometimes feel like they get a little boring, but not every week can be exciting as the last.
Sophie says
I love your blog so much, I love reading it, even the “low key weeks”. You have helped me overcome so much. So thankyou.
Keep blogging !
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Sophie!!
That means so much 🙂
hope you had a great week!!

Myriam says
1) Nothing special, normally just go to work and head back home, probably hit Starbucks with a friend or my boyfriend. Besides my hair gets all frizzy 🙁
2) Only cereals and some almond milk, but my lunch will be AWESOME: my boyfriend’s cooking pasta with tomato sauce and sweet potato 😀
3) Well you wrote this a couple of days ago so it’s a little late to recommend a film, but just in case you’re watching something tonight too: I strongly recommend “Labyrinth” (1986) if you haven’t watched it. I’m obviously a big fan of Bowie 🙁 If you prefer something more recent, then…”Once” or “Begin again”(in case you’re feeling musical), “500 days of summer” (2009), “Last night” (2010) or something a little older: “The Game” (mystery, soo good, with Michael Douglas, 1998).
Have fun and lots of courage for whatever you don’t feel like talking about. I’ve been following you for at least 5 years now, I’m from Barcelona, Spain 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Hey Myriam!
Frizzy hair is beautiful! I think frizzy, straight, styled, braided or whatever way our hair looks…is in style!
That sounds SO GOOD!!
Thank you for all the great movie recommendations. I am going to keep those in mind for the weekend or a weeknight.
Your words mean so much to me and thank you for following all these years. That made my day!! xo
Jitka says
Lol, Grumples seems like lot of fun!! 😀 But, have you ever been thinking about having two dogs? One really athletic and active, like you are? I can see you as a perfect person for a border collie! 😉
And, you made me really curious saying there is lot more you wish you could blog about… 😮 😀
Have a nice day!
Taralynn McNitt says
He really is!
Grumples is a handful. I’m not sure I could deal with two dogs right now! Border Collies are GREAT dogs!:) Do you have one?
I will blog about stuff soon 😉 xo
I hope you have a great week.
Jitka says
I see!! 😀 😀 I have two rough collies – like Lassie! 🙂 They are perfect mixture of activity, inteligence, beauty and love. Sometimes rough collies are called “dogs with sixth sense” 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
They sound wonderful!!
Carly says
I love all of your Gumples pictures! My dog Moose quits on walks too and lays in the grass in the shade until he is ready too! Such silly dogs 😛
When it rains all week I drink coffee and read. I also try to make it a point to get some exercise even if it means spending some time on the treadmill because I know the rain makes me less active.
Dinner tonight will be on the grill since its finally getting warm here! I’m thinking grilled chicken and bell pepper kabobs and grilled corn!
My favorite movies are PS I Love you and Sweet Home Alabama for some ‘classics’. If you looking for something newer I liked the new My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2… very silly and cute!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Carly!
I’m glad Grumples isn’t the only one that just gives up. Cars literally laugh at me when they drive by. Also, I think I told you this before but I love the name MOOSE!!
That sounds like the perfect rainy day activities.
That sounds like the best summer dinner. Grilled food is the best.
Those are great movies. We just recorded Sweet Home Alabama the other night to watch. I will quote the entire thing!
xo xo
Jwino says
Hi Tara love your blog! Curious what you do for work that you get to stay home? Would love that!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Jwino!
I blog full time and run a clothing line 🙂

Vanessa says
Low key weeks are so enjoyable sometimes! Just coming back from one as well. I had exams two weeks ago and then went to visit my parents for a week just to hang out with them and relax.
What do you do when it rains all week?
I love to go for a run in the rain, but mostly I take the chance to cuddle up with my housemates, watch many many movies and drink hot chocolate 🙂
What are you having for dinner tonight?
I just had ravioli with pesto and vegan nuggets. Was really good!
What movie should I watch tonight?
Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging is an amazing teenage movie. Super cheesy and over the top, I love that 😀
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Vanessa!
Sounds like a low-key and relaxing weekend is just what you needed and DESERVED.
You just described the perfect rainy day.
That dinner….yum!!!
Gotta love the cheesy movies.
xo & hope you enjoyed your weekend!

1. My favorite things to do when it rains (and I’m not at work) are to read or watch Netflix. I’ve been in school full-time for the past 6 years so I am trying to catch up on all the amazing books and tv shows that I had to prioritize my school work over!
2. Tonight I’m making flounder cooked in a lemon-wine sauce with Jasmine rice and some sort of veggies. I’ve been trying to switch from brown to jasmine rice ever since I saw the Dr. Oz episode this week that said that brown rice has quite a bit of arsenic in it!
3. I watched Brooklyn and Spotlight this weekend (it’s been rainy here as well)! Both were awesome but I loved Brooklyn a bit more. The book was one of my favorites so I’ve been dying to see it. Better late than never 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Michelle!
Those are great activities for rainy days. What books are you currently reading?
That dinner sounds so good.
I just watched spotlight the other night. I need to see Brooklyn!

I just finished The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling this week and I’m about to start Necessary Lies by Diane Chamberlain. The Casual Vacancy was the polar opposite of the Harry Potter series (Which I loved) but I thought the book was still fantastic. It definitely wasn’t what I expected though! I’m going to be traveling this week so I’ll have plenty of time to read on the plane.

The weather was amazing here. It was an active weekend. Played tennis for two hours which resulted in a horrible sun burn but soon to be tan.. 🙂 deep cleaned my house and my got my family together and had a BBQ. I love spending time with my family. Hope your weekend was fantastic!

You have to wear that sunscreen! 🙂 Sounds like you had a fun, active and productive weekend!
I had a great weekend and thank you for asking!

When it rains all week, I usually stay inside and watch movies/netflix, or read a good book!
I’m not 100% sure what’s for dinner tonight, but I’m for sure making rhubarb bread, and later this week I’m making fettuccine alfredo with tofu shirataki noodles for the first time!
I watched Inception this weekend so that’s an option… but two of my favorite movies are actually Roger Rabbit (on netflix) and Get Smart!
Taralynn McNitt says
Netflix must go into overdrive during the rainy weekends! It’s everyone’s go-to.
My grandpa used to make rhubarb pie! You sound like a great cook.
I’ll add those to my list!
Abby says
Your post makes me want a rainy weekend to just chill inside and relax! But I’ll take warmth and sunshine too. 🙂 Love this post!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Abby!

Lately I’ve been checking cookbooks out from the library for inspiration and ideas… I almost never follow the recipes exactly, but I’m hooked on Against All Grain – Meals Made Simple. I’ve made 4 different recipes pretty close to exact and they were all WAY more impressive than I anticipated. Her flavors are spot-on. I often find that with healthy recipes, I compromise on lots of flavors or textures but she really hits it home on just about everything. I was so skeptical about her wrap recipe, but they were legitimately amazing. So, I will probably whip yet another recipe up from it tonight!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you for the idea! I will have to check out that cook book!
Hilary says
I love the rainy weather it really is the perfect time to sit inside and enjoy just lounging!

What did you think about Nashville being cancelled?
Taralynn McNitt says
I was upset, but not surprised. I don’t think the show really knew where they were going and it was always the same drama/dragging out scenes. It wasn’t THAT great of a show, but I felt like I had to watch it. It’s kind of condescending, but hard to explain!
Kadee says
Hi! I’m a long time follower, but have never really commented. I just have to tell you, I absolutely love reading about your life. (Not in a creepy way, btw. ?) You seem to have things so together and and amazing life. Also, I love this rainy, cooler weather. It’s my absolute favorite. I actually really dislike summer heat, and unfortunately I live in Texas so I don’t get to escape it often. Thanks for sharing your life with us! Have a great week! ❤
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Kadee!
Thank you so much for the kind words. Believe me, I have a great life but NO ONE has everything together, ever! 😉 I’m human as the next human. I bet Texas gets so HOT, I want to visit so bad. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Texas. What part do you live in?
& thanks for commenting! xo xo
I hope you have a wonderful week:)

I live in North Texas, an hour or so from Dallas. It’s a great state! I’d love to travel. But with 2 kids under 5,that will have to wait. ? I love the pictures you post of the great little neighborhoods that you are close to. I love old houses and little downtown areas, too. You’re a great photographer! I’ve always had a love for photography but have never been able to pursue it. Maybe one day! ❤
