Harvest Snaps Giveaway

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

Hey Guys!

I’m so excited to share this giveaway with you and talk about my latest obsession, Harvest Snaps! I have been eating these snaps nonstop. I put them in my salads, popcorn bowls and trail mixes. I’ve noticed them at the grocery store before, but never really paid much attention to them until Harvest Snaps reached out to me,  asking if I’d like to host a giveaway on my blog. I know you guys love giveaways and so do I. I also was a little curious as to how they tasted. Could something as healthy and low calorie as these taste that great? I didn’t know this giveaway would lead to me falling in love with the product.

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

Harvest Snaps are made from snap peas and lentils. The flavors added are all natural and packed with nutrients. The snacks are packed with fiber, protein, low sodium, iron, calcium, vitamin B, low calorie, contain less fat, vegetarian, nut free and are gluten free.

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

My favorite of all the Harvest Snaps are the Tomato Basil Lentil Bean! I have been topping my salads with them all week long. The flavor reminds me of pizza! I ended up buying three more bags of these at the grocery store yesterday. You can find them at most grocery stores, but they have a store locator on their site if you need any help.

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

This salad has avocado, goat cheese, Caesar Harvest Snaps, Tomato Basil Harvest snaps, tomatoes, cucumber, spring blend lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette. Harvest Snaps are definitely the new croutons! I love the added crunch in my salads.

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

I do not like Wasabi, so I gave my friend Becca the Wasabi bags. She eats Wasabi like it’s yogurt. She messaged me on Sunday afternoon with her opinion on the Wasabi Ranch Snap Pea Crisp. I had to screenshot and share!

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

The Snaps come in six flavors!

Caesar, Onion Thyme, Lightly Salted, Wasabi Ranch, Tomato Basil and Black Pepper.

Harvest Snaps Giveaway

Want to win a box of all six flavors?!

Leave a comment below telling me WHERE and HOW you would eat your Harvest Snaps!

*I plan on making a delicious trail mix to bring to D.C. for my bike meet up on the 25th! *

I’ve only tried the salted ones and I usually eat them with some hummus! Those other flavors look delicious though. I’m sure I’d eat them alone or throw some on a salad.

I absolutely love Harvest Snaps!! I found them at Sprouts when they were handing out samples and ever since I’ve been hooked. I usually eat them with my lunch to have as a healthier option rather than normal chips. I even sometimes give my 9 month old son a little bite since he’s testing out finger foods. They would be great on a picnic, as a road trip snack, with your lunch, in your salad, etc.

I would love to try the harvest snaps! I just recently bought a boat with my boyfriend and have been trying really hard to maintain a healthy diet. It’s hard to do that on the boat when everyone brings chips and dips so these would be a perfect alternative to reach for and not feel guilty about!!

I eat these all the time! My favorite way to eat them is throwing a few in a bowl with unsalted air-popped popcorn! They add that little bit of salt that the popcorn needs without being horrible for you, like movie theater popcorn! My favorite is the lightly salted, but I’ve also tried the pepper ones too!

These are my guilty pleasure! I received my first one in a Love For Food subscription box once and I’ve only been able to find the Caesar flavor. Anyway, I’d take them with me to the park, lounge by the river and enjoy them while reading my favorite book because that is perfect! The plain ones I’ve dipped in hummus but I love them plain 🙂 No dips necessary!

I’ve been eating Harvest Snaps for a couple years now in Black Pepper and Caesar. They replace the hunger to eat potato chips or other salty snacks easily and I love ’em best with some roasted red pepper hummus – delicious! At Walmart and my local Chris’ Foods, I get all my choices directly in the produce section and deli section which are right next to each other. I can typically eat at least half a bag because there is just the right amount of crunch and salt and I love the texture, so I do have to moderate myself. Yum! I feel pretty good about myself after having this snack because it truly fills me up and I lose all cravings for junk (such as Taco Bell) if I choose this snack.

    2) To copy off of your genius idea, I’d use Harvest Snaps as a salad topper! I make some delicious, colorful salads for lunch during the work week, and these would be the perfect alternative to croutons!

Hi Taralynn! I love reading your posts each week, you are always inspiring me to be more active and I love that you introduce us to delicious, healthy foods! If I won this box of Harvest Snaps I would add the Tomato Basil Lentil Bean (and possibly a few more flavors, but that one sounds AMAZING) to my sprouted trail mix to bring backpacking in Tahoe, California in a few weeks!! Maybe I will even make a special “pizza” trail mix 🙂 I am a Behavior Therapist for kids with Autism in their classrooms and school is almost out. My boyfriend (an 8th grade teacher), some friends, and I are heading out on the trail for a few days once the school year is done and these Harvest Snaps would be the perfect addition to our trip! Where would I eat them? At work as an afternoon snack or on the bus home from the gym. The bus ride home is always the worst because that’s when I’m most hungry. Snaps would help curb my appetite enough so I can get home and make dinner!
How would I eat them? I’m also a big chip lover, so these would substitute for my chip addiction. They might even stand up to being dipped!? These would also be a great addition to a salad in lieu of croutons.

I would eat my Harvest Snaps in between dances at rehearsal! My studio’s working on a show to honor Prince’s legacy, so these awesome snacks would help me stay satisfied without eating anything too filling while I’m on my feet. I’ve tried the Wasabi Ranch and LOVED them (practically inhaled the whole bag), but would love to try the other 5 tasty flavors!

I LOVE Harvest Snaps, though I’ve only had the lightly salted ones – ah! I seriously wish I was kidding when I say I buy 5 bags at a time. But to answer your question, as a wise man once said, “I will eat them in a box. I will eat them with a fox. I will eat them in a house. I will eat them with a mouse. I will eat them here and there. I will eat them anywhere!” No really, I would eat them anywhere. They’re SO good!

WHERE: I would eat these everywhere! I love to SNACK! So I would take these to work with me to munch on, or to snack on them once I got home from work as I make dinner.

HOW: I would probably start off by eating these as is for a snack, and then I would start getting adventurous and add them to my salads (which is a killer idea!
