Good Morning, Everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend. I’ll be doing my update post tomorrow, but wanted to share one of my latest obsessions. Coffee isn’t my new obsession; you all know I drink an unhealthy amount of it. My newest obsession is the Bean Box! It’s a monthly coffee subscription box that delivers freshly-roasted coffee from 20 of Seattle’s premier artisan roasters.
Bean Box ships out the coffee within 48 hours to ensure it’s freshness. I get bored drinking the same coffee brand over and over again. I don’t know how my parents have been drinking the same coffee brand for over 20 years. I have to bring my own coffee over there when I visit becuase I can’t take another cup of Maxwell house.
I spend about 7.99 on each bag of coffee. I go through that bag in a week, so I spend about $31.96 a month on coffee. The membership is around $17-$20 a month depending on which plan you choose.
There are two options you can choose from for the subscriptions.
Get Freshly Roasted Seattle Coffee

Awesome post and giveaway! Coffee plays a massive role in my life. I can’t wake up in the mornings without a few cups of delicious coffee! 🙂 I really like a lot of different blends and flavors of coffee, so the bean box sounds extremely interesting! Sometimes I drink my coffee black, and sometimes I use creamer or almond milk! Coffee is probably the one beverage/food I could not live without. There is no wrong time to drink coffee, in my opinion! Mornings, afternoons, evenings, coffee is always a good idea! 🙂
Bianca says
i’m a coffee lover too! can’t get my day going without it 🙂 i always have it with a splash of almond milk!
Kayla Pinto says
I drink coffee pretty much every single day! I try to stick to one but it almost always turns into 2. Lately I’ve started drinking it black most of the time. I do, however, LOVE a splash of almond milk or if I’m craving something sweet I’ll use hazelnut creamer ?
Ashley Geier says
Coffee is necessary for function in the mornings for me! My favorite is summer mornings sitting on the porch as the sun comes up drinking it. I usually mix a boring coffee with a speciality one, because like you, I get sick of the same ol’ thing.
Dana says
I am not a functional person in the morning until I have had my cup of coffee. I also enjoy a cup in the afternoon sometimes. Coffee is also a great way to get people together, or to break the ice with someone new. The phrase, “Wanna meet up for coffee sometime” was invented for a reason!
Jen H says
I consider coffee a food group. Yup! Yes I do. I work a full time job, TWO part time jobs, andddddd am in grad school finishing my masters degree. To say that I am a sleep deprived, workaholic, coffee chugging woman is an understatement!! I sometimes work until 11 pm only to get up and be at work at 6am the next day!! Then to get off and do homework for hours. I have grown to depend on coffee for those days. I love it!!! My favorite part about coffee is how versatile it is. Some days I like my coffee black, some days I load it up with healthy creamers and stevia. From caramel, hazelnut, mocha, to French vanilla…I have just about every coffee creamer there is!!! I’d consider myself a coffee aficionados!! If coffee were a band, I’d be its best groupie!!!

I love this giveaway! I’m with you, I need to switch up my coffee every so often. It’s the first thing I drink every morning and I look forward to it. I even have to switch up the way I make it. Hot, iced, blended, latte, all different ways. Thanks for the giveaway your posts are always my favorite.

Ah I love this post so much! Ever since I was little I was always taught to drink something warm and yummy with breakfast and back then that was Ovaltine. I mean who can’t go wrong with hot cocoa with breakfast? The older I got I realized how unhealthy that product was and still wanted a warm drink to go with breakfast…that’s when I was introduced to coffee. I immediately fell in love with all the flavors, types. I love coffee black especially when it’s flavored because you really get to enjoy the coffee at its perfect state. Speaking of which, my coffee pot just went off! 🙂
Katie says
This is such a great idea. I got a new coffee maker for Christmas and have become a wannabe barista. There are so many different flavors that I just never buy at the store because I am afraid I won’t like it, plus it could get expensive since I like to have options. I stick to a staple that I know I like to avoid this, but Bean Box would allow me to try the specialty coffees! I gotta have my coffee every day…I work in a hospital and sometimes I work nights so coffee literally keeps me going at times!
Paige says
I’ve never heard of this before….what a neat concept! I am an elementary school teacher in Rock Hill, so I require 2 cups of coffee a day, sometimes three! I’m open to all kinds of flavors. Im like you, I like to change things up. By doing so, Ive found some really unique flavors. I usually drink my coffee with a little bit of half and half and some drops of Stevia. However, when it gets warm outside I pour it over ice! For Christmas I got a coffee grinder and I’m excited to use it…I can’t even imagine how amazing the ground beans will smell. To me, coffee is a hug in a mug. Pure comfort!
Jordan Jean says
I love coffee! I have been a barista for 3 years, and I am planning on becoming a coffee roaster once I graduate college! I love trying new things, so I think bean box will be perfect for me (especially with my high barista standards)! Last February I even got a tattoo of a coffee leaf/bean on the back of my neck. Coffee commitment 🙂 Let me know if you want to see a pic!
Jordan Jean says
Oh, and I forgot to add that I drink two cups in the morning and one pick-me-up cup in the afternoon. I drink it with whole milk, no sugar, and prepared in my chemex. 🙂
Nom nom.
Amanda says
Great post! As always! 😉 coffee has been an obsession of mine since 12 years old. Seriously. As soon as my parents told I could I was drinking 1-2 cups every morning since then! Now I’ve cut back to just 1 a day with no sugar cause I’ve learned to enjoy each roast blend we try. My husband and I are sf proclaimed “coffee snobs” we grind our beans every morning and love getting local Virginia roasted blends. Would love to try Bean Box!
Kelly says
Coffee is one of my favorite things! It is so delicious and comforting. My husband and I usually drink the same kind throughout the week, but try and get a different flavor each weekend. It is something that makes our weekends a little more special. It is fun to go to stores to try and find one that we haven’t had before. We even incorporate new coffee or mugs in to each holiday! This would be a fun additional to our new tradition!
Jaclyn Connolly says
Love your post!
Coffee in the morning, coffee in the evening, coffee at supper time….who says you can’t drink coffee at ANY time? (sing to the tune of that old pizza bagel commercial song). LOL but for real…coffee is life! I think of coffee as more than just a morning ritual “need caffeine” type of deal….it’s more of a “make just about every situation better” deal. Even just the smell of coffee beans at the store gets me thinking about sitting with my cup and enjoying me time. I agree that coffee blends can get mundane if you use the same one over and over (my parents have also been drinking maxwell house…for years now…and I totally agree with you on that one haha). Bean box sounds like an exciting way to vary your coffee palate! Also, coffee and Seattle?! Can’t get better than that!
I drink my coffee black, sometimes I’ll add a little tinge of sugar. I like drinking it black because I feel like I’m getting the full effect of the flavor 🙂
Enjoy your delicious array of coffee!
Emily says
I have been drinking coffee for years, but I have recently been trying to drink my coffee black to really appreciate the flavor. This experiment has made me realize that not all coffee is good! Since I have in Design School, coffee is my life source and I drink it all day long. Without it, I would not be able to function since I don’t drink any other form of caffeine! I still use sugar and milk (aLomond milk is the best), but if it’s a really good coffee, I can drink it black and really enjoy it!
Leslie says
Pretty cool! I think one of the things most of your readers can relate to you on is our shared love for coffee! Lol I actually took a dramatic step this year and gave up caffeine for lent, but because I love the taste so much and to kind of get a placebo effect, I’ve taken to drinking decaf. Well, with lent almost over I think a perfect way to celebrate would be to have this as a reward! Hope you have a great day!
Leslie says
And yes, I realize decaf still has caffeine haha! I just couldn’t give it up completely!
Brooke says
I’m 24 and just started drinking coffee last year. Now it’s something I look forward to having every morning when I wake up! I especially love my French press. I always have a cup in the morning, and usually an afternoon cup, too. Or more..ya know just depends on how the day is going. Haha
Jillian says
I’m a social coffee drinker, I love meeting up with friends for coffee and chatting 🙂
But… I’m also a busy student so I usually need a cup to power me through class, studying, and paper-writing haha!
Sarah says
I LOVE coffee. Ever since 8 am classes started in college years ago, I’ve had coffee to start every morning. I love to try new coffees but definitely have the classic favorites. My students even know I love coffee because I have the same mug full every morning. The smell of coffee is enough to wake me up 🙂
Krista says
Oh wow! What a great Coffee company! So makes sense to purchase this and save money! ? My morning isn’t complete until I hear my coffee pot automatically turn on, the fresh aroma that spreads throughout my apartment. That first sip in the morning is such a delight and makes me smile from ear to ear then I know I’m ready to start the day…and with a few more cups throughout the day! ?☕️ Coffee is a way of life. It brings people together. It reminds me of my late mother who was much more of a coffee freak than I! Lol Can’t go a day without!
I love all your posts sweet pea! Have a wonderful day!
Andrea @ Blog Strength says
What a great idea for a subscription box, I love trying new and unique flavors of coffee. My tastes range from bold to blonde depending on my mood that day so I love to mix it up.
Alice says
I require coffee to make it through the day! Lately I’ve tried to “detox” from coffee (which basically just means I’ve been too busy to make myself coffee before class) but whenever I do that I’m exhausted by 4:00 pm! So needless to say, I need coffee to make it all the way to bedtime and still be functional.
Madison says
OMG, coffee is everything. I really didn’t drink it in college, but it became a STAPLE when I started law school. My fiance’s also obsessed with coffee – his twitter name is actually “Black Coffee,” haha. Needless to say, coffee is huge in our household. 🙂
Brittany says
Coffee is a newer discovery for me, I am currently obsessed with Jamaican Me Happy coffee (vanilla, caramel, and kahlua). It definitely is my new “comfort food” and just makes me happy! I like to drink coffee while I eat a bagel and fruit in the morning and it is a necessity before races!
Kristin Bowers says
Coffee is such a high point in my day, every day! I am pretty sensitive to caffeine, so I limit myself to one cup per day. I usually make it mid-morning, once my baby has gone down for his nap. Then, I spend a heavenly 30 minutes just savoring the taste and warmth of my favorite beverage. I like to drink my coffee with a splash of whole milk for creaminess. Love it!
Melissa says
I have always loved coffee, but since becoming a new mom it’s become a full blown addiction. It’s fierce!! I pretty much rely on coffee for survival now and I’m always searching for new roasts and flavors to keep my addiction going strong. For these reasons this giveaway is right up my alley and I would love to receive bean box!
Lacey says
coffee is my morning ritual. ? I love making it with my fresh press and usually have it with a splash of half & half. Espresso is still my favorite, but the French press method is pretty tasty too! Love your blog!
Angela M says
I survive on coffee! I work 12 hour shifts and if I don’t have coffee I can hardly make it until the end of my shift.
Stephanie says
I love the ritual of drinking coffee- the smell, wrapping my hands around a warm mug, and of course, the taste. One of my favorite things to do is hang out in a coffee shop with a good latte and a good book!
Taffeny says
Coffee gets me up and keeps me going. It’s my little meditative dance I get to do in the morning. It refreshes me and brings me closer when my friends and I sit around talking in the afternoon with coffee. I’m not addicted I swear, I can quit anytime 😉
Madison says
For me coffee isn’t a necessity for the caffeine related benefits. I drink coffee because it’s a comfort, a hug in a cup really. My stepdad would make me coffee anytime I was feeling down and we would talk about whatever was on my mind. Because of that, coffee is my go to for comfort. When I was away in Italy for for months, I searched high and low to find a cup of coffee (not espresso) when I was homesick. Trying new flavor a and brands is the best! There’s nothing like a well made cup of coffee.

I love coffee, gotta have a cup every morning! I try to keep it to one per day, but that doesn’t always happen! I usually just drink it with a splash of milk. This box is such a great idea!
Hayley says
I drink it almost every morning before work. I’m a teacher so sometimes the coffee is the only thing that keeps me going! haha.
Kelsey says
I LOVE my coffee in the morning and afternoon! I have never tried a coffee I didn’t like. 🙂 I look at it this way – If I don’t have my coffee, I don’t do the best job I can teaching!
Black coffeeeee all the way.

Coffee gets me through my long work days and my masters program! I either have it with some vanilla almond milk or with some foamed milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Mazal Kuba says
Coffee plays a huge part in my day as I am a teacher and there aren’t enough hours in the day. I drink coffe with just a little milk and no sweetners because I love the taste of coffe and not what goes into it!
Grace says
Coffee gets me through my long days of work and my masters program! I either have it with vanilla almond milk or with some foamed milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Coffee is everything. As a nonprofit professional working primarily with at-risk youth, it gets me going in the morning and in a great mood for the kiddos I work with. It gets me through the great days when I know I am making an impact, even though I’m going into overtime hours. It gets me through the hard days, when I help a struggling child or counsel a traumatized kiddo who is afraid to go home because they have nightmares when they go to sleep. I love what I do and I know I have a heart for giving, but sometimes you need a little boost. Not all superheroes wear capes– some of us just have a cup of coffee and a willingness to take on the world one day at a time. <3
Jacky says
I drink it every afternoon at work as a pick-me-up. I love the taste and I’d love to try different beans!
Kenzie says
Good morning! One of our favorite things to do on vacation is find local coffee shops and try out their specialties. We have a “no chain restaurants” rule when we’re in a new city and we have seen some incredible and unique coffee shops with some amazing flavors!

It took me a long time to start liking coffee…I probably didn’t start drinking it until I was in college. But now I’m obsessed. My favorite thing about coffee is how it brings people together-seriously! I’ve met so many people at coffee shops or gotten to know someone over a cup at work. My boyfriend and I recently started trying new brands and I think Bean Box sounds so cool!
Meg says
I haven’t been drinking coffee for very long but I do enjoy a good cup. Love to try new coffee flavors and brands. Anytime I’m traveling with my boyfriend we look for local coffee shops. It’s quickly becoming a new favorite. Would love to try some Seattle coffee.

I drink french press every weekday and make lattes on the weekends! I drink coffee every day. Yum!
Jenny says
I absolutely have to have coffee to function. I just started a big stressful job and it takes me two hours to get to work by train so I’ve needed a lot more coffee recently. I usually just drink it black but recently discovered my love of making a shot of espresso and pouring it over ice with a splash of almond milk. It’s going to be the best for the summer!
Lauren valentine says
I start every morning with a cup of coffee- no sugar and a little almond milk. It helps wake me up and gives me a little jolt of energy for my morning workout. On rest days, I like to make myself a cup while I read or write in my journal!
Lindsey says
Coffee is how I’m surviving grad school! Half of the time I drink it black, but the other half of the time I add stevia and milk. I usually drink it with breakfast and/or lunch but I try not to drink it after 3 pm so it doesn’t mess up my sleep schedule. Great giveaway!
Megan says
I didn’t really drink much coffee until I started grad school, but since then it has become a necessary part of my morning routine! My fiancé turned me into a real coffee snob, though. The one thing we don’t go cheap on at the grocery store is coffee!

I love reading your posts while I sip my morning coffee!
I am a first year, first grade teacher in a inner city charter school. I have a coffee maker that grinds fresh coffee beans every morning. When my beans start grinding and my apartment becomes engulfed in the fragrant aroma and I am peacefully woken up. I usually drink my coffee with a splash nondairy creamer and a sprinkle of Splenda. I don’t think I could teach with enthusiasm and energy without my coffee filled mornings!
Alanah Raykovich says
Coffee has been a way to sit and share with family and friends for many years. I always have a cup every morning but enjoy it most catching up with my sister and dad on a lazy weekend afternoon.
Lindsay @ A Runnaroundd Life says
Coffee is more than a taste for me, it’s a morning ritual. It gets my day started in the best way 🙂

Hi Taralynn!
I also love coffee – the first sip in the morning is one of, if not, the best moment of the day. My parents too drink the same brand of coffee – its from Germany and strong. While I do like their coffee, I too like to mix up my brands and flavors. I have a keurig and love trying out different k–cups. I also have the reusable cup so I can buy other kinds and use those. My most recent routine for coffee drinking is Sundays – I go to the gym, catch a yoga class, then grab a cup of coffee and head to the library. I’m working on a masters in Public Health and working 2 jobs, so I need my coffee to fuel my Sunday filled with studying.
Rebecca says
Absolutely the best part of my morning! Love it was vanilla almond milk:)
Katie says
I’m a middle school teacher, so coffee is my fuel. A good cup makes the day start, keeping going, and continue in the manner I need it to. Coffee has been responsible for early morning where I am prepping for a test or late nights grading essays.
Hope Dubose says
Oh how I love your blog and this awesome giveaway! Coffee plays a huge role in my life because I have a 2 year old who is constantly running around and on top of that I work part time from home and when I’m not on the computer in babysitting other 2 and 4 year olds! Talk about having your hands full! This is why my husband decided to get me “the worlds strongest coffee” for Valentine’s Day 😛 Not the best tasting, but hey, when you need a caffeine fix, coffee is coffee and mommy NEEDS her coffee!
Rebekah Baggerly says
Coffee is my life! ….OKay, that might be a little extreme. But in all seriousness, coffee time is anytime for me. I love waking up in the morning knowing that a freshly brewed pot of coffee is waiting; the smell is unlike anything else 🙂 Usually I drink my coffee with milk, but, on occasion, I enjoy using a hazelnut creamer from Whole Foods. And, when I feel like splurging, I get a white chocolate mocha w/half the syrup from a local coffee shop. Whether it be in the morning, afternoon, or evening, coffee is definitely my go-to comfort drink 🙂
Michela says
Coffee is my go to morning drink other than water of course! I don’t necessarily drink it for the caffeine boost, even though that is a plus, but I love the warmth and flavor! Coffee could be considered one of the “comfort” foods or should I say drinks! I love the flavor of coffee so The Bean would be a perfect opportunity to try and explore new coffee bean batches!
Emily B says
Loooooooove me some coffee. I drink it usually once a day in the morning – sometimes go for an afternoon cup if I need it. I usually drink it with a tablespoon of half and half and 2 packets of Stevia. I love all things coffee!

Oh my Mom SWEARS by Maxwell House. It’s a little to weak for my liking so I know the feeling of taking your own coffee or picking some up before I get to their house!
I work a full-time job and I’m in pharmacy school so my days are very, very long. It’s my lifeline when I have deadlines to meet and things to get done! I take my coffee with some cream and stevia, and if its a splurge day, I’ll throw in some flavoring that day!

This sounds awesome! I feel like it is totally worth the value, and I know I get so tired of the same coffee brands too! I can’t wait to check this out on the website, thank you so much for blogging about it!

My husband and I LOVE great coffee, we met at a local roaster and coffee shop almost 6 years ago and were both baristas there. We don’t have amazing coffee shops near where we live now, so we like to take road trips to go try new coffee shops. We are always on the hunt for great coffee, I’ve never heard of bean box, so I’m super excited to go check out their website! Thanks for posting!!
Jessica says
I love coffee, but in all honesty the caffeine makes me have to pee every two hours. I also drink a good amount of water every day, which is healthy but makes my issue even worse! I have slowly weened myself off caffeine and now I only drink it 1x a week. I’m proud of myself for not needing coffee to function, but I miss it. I love the taste and smell so much! Most brands don’t have the same flavors in decaf, but I do occasionall drink decaf to calm my coffee cravings. I took me months of drinking half caf, then another month or so of tea before I could stop drinking coffee. The reason I still drink it once a week is because I think there are still health benefits of drinking coffee.
Olivia S says
How do my husband and I drink coffee you ask? Constantly. With or without cream. Hot or iced. With breakfast or with dessert. Coffee is a staple in our household, and we have a coffee bar in our kitchen to prove it! Coffee has been shown to prevent Alzheimer’s, so we like to think that we are doing it for long-term health…not to mention that, as grad students, coffee is our fuel throughout the day!
Cheryl says
Coffee keeps me going. I drink coffee from the time I wake up and throughout the day.

Coffee is my obsession! I am a pre-medicine student and drink coffee every single morning to get me through my tough classes and all of my studying. Sometimes I even drink it at night to keep me awake if I have an exam the next morning. I take my coffee with light cream and sugar, sometimes with caramel flavoring. This website looks great and I can’t wait to check it out!
Melissa says
This is a box I have never heard of! I am a first year law student and I use coffee to keep me sane, and awake during the long hours at the library. Normally I will make a cup when I wake up in the morning and just add some skim milk or almond milk to it (whatever I have on hand). Then later on in the day when I need a pick up between class and the hours of reading awaiting me at the library I will duck out and hit up Dunkin (as it is a boston way of life) or Starbucks to grab an iced coffee just to get me through the rest of my day! Can’t survive without that coffee!
Hillary says

Coffee is what gets me up and going! I teach 1st grade-I can’t imagine being ready for 23 six year olds without a good cup of hot coffee! I like it strong and I like natural bliss creamer to sweeten it up a little without all the crazy ingredients of most creamers.
Hanah Miller says
I actually only started drinking coffee this past year, and I would’t say I need it to breath, live, and function, but I need it to breath, live, and function. I appreciate the home brewed Maxwell house, or the overpriced cup of Starbucks, but lately I have been venturing out to coffee shops in Chicago, and around Atlanta ( I go back and forth about once a month), and have found the pour-over. I am not the one to drink anything sweet, I cant do the sugar, or the fancy options, although I wish I did because my sweet tooth is out of this world, and the latte art is very unique, but I found the best coffee is coffee in it’s purest form. Maybe a splash of milk, and then I just sip until the life infuses into my veins.

With almost a 2 hour commute every morning and evening- you bet coffee plays a role in my life! 🙂 I love it with soy milk.

Sosososo excited for this giveaway!! Seattle is on my bucket list of places to go! I am a barista and it really is one of the greatest jobs; you meet interesting people, make coffee, smell coffee and drink coffee all day xD. Straight espresso(stove-top espresso maker or a classic espresso machine) is usually my choice. If I want more than just a few sips, then I will go for an aeropress or pourover if I am at a coffee shop.

I like to enjoy coffee occasionally. I prefer to drink it only every once in awhile so I don’t get hooked on the caffeine. I love to try different kinds!

I would love to try this bean box brand! Such a cool giveaway!

I’m a recent postgrad and in my early 20’s, and while everything is always changing and sometimes crazy or chaotic, I find stability and sanity knowing that there is always coffee. This knowledge brings me immense happiness, and allows for sunshine on even the cloudiest of days.
Cassie says
I love coffee, and I’ve also been so interested in the whole background of craft coffees and all the different variations. My brother in laws family owns a small local coffee shop where they brew their own brand, after they go on trips all over the world for beans. It’s such an amazing process! Coffee is a culture of its own, and I love that people all over the world enjoy it! As a chef, I love drinking it to get me through my long days, but also utilizing it in sauces for meats or in dessert! Yum!
Arielle P says
There is nothing better than curling up in bed with coffee on a Sunday morning! It is the most relaxing thing to take some time for myself and snuggle into my blankets with coffee and a book or Netflix on a lazy day. Coconut milk is my go-to! And a pretty or special mug is a must 🙂
Amy says
I drink coffee all day everyday! I love how coffee can bring people together. Good conversation can always happen over coffee! I always drink mine black
Kristen says
Coffee and water are usually the only things I drink a day! I’m a server and I need the pep that a good cup of coffee can give to me. Restaurant coffee can be a little mild so we double the amount of grounds for a super charge, and for an extra treat we add our homemade bailey’s whipped cream… yum!
Erin says
Coffee is a huge part of my everyday routine! It’s something to look forward to when I get to work. I’ve recently been buying Starbucks coffee everyday, but I do have a Keurig that I use as well.
I almost always have coffee in the morning when I wake up, and sometimes in the early afternoons if my brain isn’t working properly. Here in San Francisco, we have Phil coffee, which is SO good and strong. They have mint mojito iced coffee in the summer too.
Haley says
Oh man… how do I even begin to explain what coffee means to me? 🙂 My day does not begin unless I have at LEAST one cup in the morning. As a server who works frequent doubles, I have it several more times throughout the day to keep me going (and friendly to my customers!). I take it with a bit of creamer and almond milk! Just enough sweetness to keep me sweet.
Laura says
Love coffee and as a mom, it’s a must in the morning. This is such a fun box.
Alli says
I love coffee and have always looked forward to my morning cup! Recently I have been so busy at work that it has been a necessity to function. 🙂 I LOVE Starbucks skinny cinnamon dolce lattes but usually drink it with creamer and Stevia at home (especially since my nearest Starbucks is now 45 min away!).
Kat Munn says
I have never really drank coffee for energy, its just something I like to drink most days as a reminder of home and family. My dad would always make me fancy espresso drinks when I am in town, and being away its just my little cozy reminder of home. I usually just drink it black, but at home I drink it with steamed milk and foam. Anytime/Anyday <3
Bethany @ athletic avocado says
I LOVE coffee! I drink it while Im doing homework or studying, it makes me feel more productive lol! I usually drink it plain black!
Rena says
There’s nothing better than starting the day off with reading emails or news with a cup of coffee.
Nicole says
Coffee, Latte’s, espresso, cold brew. You name it, I love it! I literally can’t function in the morning without it. So bad, I know! My husband and I are always trying new roasts. We recently bought a French press and it is seriously a game changer! This box would be right up our alley!
Heather @ Polyglot Jot says
Wow! I’d love to enter–for me coffee is my “me-time” even if I have to go to work and don’t have much time, I always try and make time to enjoy my coffee before the work day gets too crazy!
Francesca says
Love this post! I was never a huge coffee drinker until college, and post-grad my obsession continues! I’m always trying new brands and flavors just to switch things up. There’s nothing quite like waking up and starting your day in the peace and quiet with a cup of coffee (the chaos of the day can wait until after I’ve had my coffee time)
Taisi says
Basically, I love coffee and I’m a bit addicted, but I don’t drink it during weekdays (which makes no sense right?), since I’m a student in a small apartment without a coffee maker. BUT I do drink coffee every morning during the weekend, as I visit my parents in another city (a 3h drive away) and they have a fabulous coffee machine, which I just abuse without regrets! I sometimes bring a bag of coffee beans with me as a present to try out new tastes. My mom loves it. My dad is just content with every brand. 😀
Oh and sometimes I fill my Mondays with coffee, as I wake up at 5am, have a cup and take another cup with me on the road back to university (I need it in the lectures if I get up at that hour) and maybe even stop on the road to get a cup from a local take-away that I like.
I have tried to kick back the habit as it is not the healthiest, but it just tastes too good to give up. And life is for the living, right?
Kendra says
A day doesn’t feel like it’s started unless I’ve had some coffee! The only time I skip it is if I have to get it at place where I know I won’t like it… gas stations and most restaurant coffee just isn’t good enough when you can ground fresh beans at home!!
Brianna says
This is so exciting!!!!
I LOVE coffee. I have it 2-4 times a day. I love espresso in the morning and a sweet coffee around 11 and I usually have a cup of decaf around 3 then another around 8. I never put anything with the espresso but with regular coffee I always add soy milk and brown sugar. I love the flavor brown sugar gives coffee as opposed to regular sugar, it just makes it WAY richer and it feels more indulgent.
Katie says
I have always loved coffee for as long as I can remember. As a new mom, it has become an extra important staple in my life! 🙂
Alaina says
Oh my gosh…coffee being a part of my life is not the thing. It IS my life! I love a good cup of coffee and am quite spoiled, enjoying the more expensive types. I would love to win this give-away! Thanks for the opportunity!
Alyssa says
COFFEE IS LIFE! I drink it about 5-6 times a day and I do not know how to function properly without it anymore. 🙂
Pam says
I drink a cup of coffee each morning when I get to work – and then on the weekends, my treat is making a French press right when I wake up and lounging around drinking coffee for an hour or so! I put whatever I don’t drink in the fridge and make tasty iced coffee drinks with it.
Kristin says
Between my last semester of undergrad, finishing my thesis, working 30-40 hours a week as an audio specialist at the student center, training for a half-marathon, and trying to cling on some sort of social life coffee keeps me going. But its not all about the caffeine for my, its the taste, the aroma of the pot at 5:00am when I have to drag myself out of bed, the warmth in my hands, and the comforting feeling.
Meg says
I love coffee! The weekends are my favorite because I can sleep in and have a cup of coffee and enjoy it before the day begins! Usually, I am rushing out the door with my coffee/in the drive thru lane before work (teacher life) and it’s more of a necessity to function and I don’t get to enjoy it as much! Starbucks is so expensive, but having coconut milk now is so great so sometimes I splurge! Usually at home I put some almond milk in it (Malk brand from Whole Foods is the best because it is 100% all natural, not processed- check it out!)
Nicole Morrison says
LOVE coffee! I have it all the time and keep trying different ones. I think I’m looking for the perfect bean and haven’t found it yet. I’ll drink it almost anyway I can get it!
Nicole says
Coffee is about 95% responsible for my being a functioning, vertical human being every day. I don’t get far without it, so every morning starts with either an iced coffee from Starbucks (if I’m treating myself) or some strongly-brewed french press with all-natural hazelnut creamer. I drink a lot of coffee until about noon, and then I cut myself off so that it doesn’t affect my sleep (I go to bed very early). I normally get my coffee from Trader Joe’s because I love that I can grind up the beans only when I purchase it, but having it delivered to my door would save me from those “omg we’re almost out of coffee!” panic mornings.
Rebecca says
Being a college student, coffee is definitely a staple in my diet! I brew a big pot in the morning, and I usually go for an afternoon pick-me-up, especially the days I teach dance at my studio to a bunch of rambunctious little girls! But if I’m being honest, my parents started letting me have coffee in my sippy cup when I was 3, so as an addict for life, a subscription like Bean Box is something I’d love to give a try! 🙂
AShley says
How awesome is that!!! I drink coffee any time of day any way (hot, iced, blended etc) Like you I need a change every now and again and what a perfect way to do so in a “not as expensive” sort of way!!!! Great find!!!
Lisa McKessy says
I drink coffee every morning, with almond milk and non dairy creamer. When I go out, I get different flavored lattes. I like meeting friends for coffee or sometimes studying at a coffee shop.
Kate says
I love my cup of coffee every morning! I like getting a big mug and filling it half with coffee and half with milk 🙂
Katie says
I have been drinking coffee 7 days a week for 5 years now. Couldnt live with out it.
Jessie @ The Acquired Sass says
This is one of the few subscription boxes I’ve seen that I think I might actually use. Coffee is definitely daily around here. & the BF & I can kill a whole pot on the weekends & almost always do. The weather has rocked the past week or so, so sitting on the back porch & savoring coffee + sunshine has been great. Usually I just buy the same brand over & over, but I love to try new ones. Just afraid of not liking them & being stuck with a huge bag forever. So this sounds great!
Dani says
I could not keep up my healthy lifestyle without coffee. I get up every morning at 4:00am, and then I make myself a fresh cup of coffee before I hit the gym for my 5-6am boot camp class. In my coffee, I put a little bit of coconut oil and some unsweetened almond milk. Then, after the gym, I brew more coffee before I start my long work day. I really would love the opportunity to try this, as I too am getting sick of the cheap, run-of-the-mill coffee from my local small town Nebraska grocery store. THANKS! 🙂
Kelli says
How neat! I’ve never heard of this product, but I think it would also make an excellent gift idea for coffee lovers.
I used to absolutely hate coffee. Haha I even tried putting Hershey’s chocolate syrup in it once to help keep me awake for an all nighter study session. Fast forward four years, and now I can’t go a day without a cup. I’ve grown to like the distinct flavors and drink it black the majority of the time.
Kara says
Right now as I read this, I’m enjoying a nice cup of black coffee. I can’t start a day at work without it. When I want to treat myself, I go for a cappuccino, but mostly it’s straight black for me. I enjoy beans with a subtle sweetness to them. I love the idea of the Bean Box because like you, I too bounce around with the coffee I drink (last week Gevalia, right now Starbucks, over the weekend beans from a local farmers market). The last time I was in Seattle, I didn’t take the time to research good coffee and was so bummed out when I ended up with two mediocre cups. I’d love to give the city’s acclaimed coffees another try.
Teri says
I have to have my coffee in the morning. My morning is not complete if I’m not able to have it…I feel like something is missing. I used to drink it with creamer and sugar, but then I was able to skip the sugar and use creamer only. Now I’ve come to love a cup of coffee with milk only. I feel it’s not so bad for me this way without all of the unhealthy ingredients.
Lauren says
I have to have coffee to start my day. It gives me the energy I need to go on my morning 3 mile walks with my dog Max. I love it hot with lots of cream and a little sugar.
Allie S says
About 95% of my personality is derived from caffeine – seriously, I am worthless before my first cup of coffee. I have my coffeemaker set to auto-brew so it is ready by the time I wake up and I usually have one or two cups before I leave for work. As a general rule, I stay away from any kind of caffeinated beverage after 4PM and drink 120 oz. of water a day to stay hydrated.
I’m like you and I get bored drinking the same coffee over and over again. I like a little variety in my life 🙂 If I had my way, I would drink black, unsweetened coffee always. Sometimes, I like to mix it up and add vanilla syrup and soy creamer but that is a treat for me.
lauren sparks says
As a nurse, coffee is so important for me,I can’t wake up in the morning without it! Any time I’m stressed at work I take a sip of coffee and magically I’m prepared for any situation with a smile on my face! I also love mixing it up with your recipes, especially the almond milk versions, thanks for the tips taralynn!
Sheila says
I used to not drink coffee until I moved to Seattle 16 years ago and now I have to have it at least once a day. ? As soon as I started reading your post I instantly saw the logo of one of my favorites, Herkimer! I live a block away from this place I call heaven! Every couple of days you can smell the beans roasting away. Love them! Have a great day!
Steph Brown says
Since i was a kid i always loved dark roast coffee. I used to have it with creamer but a few years ago i moved over to just black because i didn’t want the sugar. Now, i have it black, iced or hot! It’s more than a go to, its a must! Every morning, every night, and usually throughout the day 😉
Jess says
I never used to like coffee, I’ve always been a huge tea drinker. Which isn’t surprising because I’m originally from Germany and we LOVE our tea. When I came to the US for school I kinda had to switch to coffee because you guys don’t know how to do tea, I’m sorry haha. And now I’m hooked!! Unfortunately my campus doesn’t offer great coffee so I’d love to try a variety of blends.
Oh my god, now that I’m thinking about it, I have a coffee tip you might appreciate: if you’re willing to spend some money on a good coffee machine, get a Jura. They are ridiculously expensive but they make the best coffee ever. My parents got one over Christmas.. Man I miss that coffee haha. It’s incredible. I dont know if they’re a thing in the US, but definitely worth a look since you love your coffee so much 😉
Rachel says
It’s amazing how there is a subscription box for everything these days! I am a huge coffee drinking!! I like you Taralynn drink a unhealthy amount! I have been trying to limit myself to 1 cup a day and drink tea otherwise. I would love to have this box to try new coffee. It sounds so good! I love your post as always! Thank you for putting a smile on my face this morning!

I’m a grad student, hold a full time job, and am the single mother of a toddler. When you’re running on three hours’ sleep, coffee is critical! Sometimes I’m desperate enough to drink instant made from hot tap water 🙂

I will have a cup of coffee on days when I need quick energy and/or have tons of things to do. I like it with a lot of cream.

Hello, Lady! Awesome giveaway 🙂 I manage construction sites and am on go go go way more than I’d like to admit, I LOVE my coffee. I love a Strong, Bold, Dark Road, Black in a Giant size mug. Can’t get enough, morning & afternoon!

Love it first think in the morning with almond milk, and black later in the day after lunch and/or dinner.
Also, love meeting up with my girlfriends for a coffee date.
Jen says
As a grad student, I’m a coffee fiend as well. I have my mug in the morning and then repeat as needed throughout the day. I prefer to make my coffee at home as a way to save money, but will splurge at a nicer coffee shop on the weekends.
Marissa says
Coffee is what gets me out of bed every morning, plain and simple, don’t talk to me before I have had coffee:) My favorite part of the day is my ten minutes of coffee and news before I begin getting ready for work! I switch up the type of coffee I brew, but recently received a coffee grinder as a gift and boy does it make a difference. I drink my coffee straight black. Awesome give a way! Fingers crossed 😉

Great giveaway! Coffee is a huge part of my morning routine. I am an Executive Assistant for 8 people and gearing up each am with coffee is my to go way to start the day. I also just moved in with my boyfriend and we love getting up early and spending the morning together drinking our coffee. It’s such a nice way to connect with one another before we leave for work. Would LOVE to try the Bean Box! Thank you

would love to win! I have coffee every morning and I like buying beans and grinding them at home because it smells so good and always tastes more fresh!

i feel like you and i are spirit animals when it comes to coffee. i love it, drink it all the time, and am not affected by it. have you ever had cuban coffee in its traditional sense? mini shots?
Lauren says
I love coffee! I have only been drinking it since my recent trip to Europe, but now im officially addicted. I drink it every morning to start my day. I drink mine black. I am new to coffee, so i am still experimenting with all the different roasts and flavors. I like to drink it dark so i really taste the different roasts. Love your blog!
Jessica says
I used to drink coffee EVERY morning, and got away from it a little and started drinking English breakfast tea instead, but lately I’ve gotten back on coffee. I also get tired of the same brand. I always have 2-3 different kinds just to mix it up. I am a big fan lately of afternoon coffee. Something comforting about a hot cup of coffee while I finish up afternoon work to give me energy to get through my evening plans. I also drink more coffee when I’m traveling for work at conferences and there’s always coffee available. I use it in the business I own aside from my full time job as well as a way to conduct business opportunity meetings and “meet up for coffee.” There is just something about sitting in a coffee shop and chatting with someone that just seems so right with the world.
Madeline says
I enjoy a hot cup of coffee every morning and it’s something I look forward to every day. It’s also a bonding experience for my husband and me since we like to try new roasts and different coffee making methods together!

THIS IS THE BEST. I’ve been drinking coffee since I was 5 years old. Most people in my life associate me with coffee. I once had the goal of owning Starbucks one day and I instead took a more reasonable approach and started a vlog called “No Decaf” on YouTube where I make specialty coffee drinks and review books. It’s in its infancy but it’s a labor of love ??? This box would be an awesome addition to my vlog and my coffee bar!

My mom LOVES coffee. I would love to win this for her! We just got her a lot of fancy coffee things for Christmas (including a grinder). This would make her day!
Kelsey says
Coffee is what I look forward to every morning! It makes
The first couple hours of work bearable. I don’t drink coffee at home during the week, I wait and have it at work. Yes that means tasteless, bulk coffee out of s commercial sized coffee maker BUT it makes me appreciate my good coffee more on the weekends.
🙂
Taralynn, omg, I can’t believe I never wrote to you about this before. My sister lives in Seattle so we visit a couple times a year. If you haven’t been,
GO. NOW. And you must do the Seattle By Foot coffee tour. It’s the best thing ever! Ps, the beer tour is also fun 🙂

Coffee is my everything on days that I have work and class! I like to drink it with french vanilla coffee creamer but I’ve heard that that stuff is terrible for you 🙁 I’d like to start making my own creamer!
(Ps I just found your blog and I LOVE it! Looking forward to reading it in the morning with my coffee)

I drink my coffee black in morning with my breakfast and sometimes in the afternoon for a little pick me up! Favorite way to start the day

Hi Taralynn!
My coffee is such a treat for me, even though I drink it daily. I like to pair coffee with my favorite moments. I drink coffee in the morning while I read your blog and prepare for the day. On the weekends my boyfriend and I sit outside in the sun and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or two (weather permitting :)) I also drink coffee when I’m trying to study during the day to focus for my classes. I’m a bit of a coffee snob so my bags are at least $7.99 a bag too so I would love to try out this company and see if I save money! Thanks!
Hope you’re doing well,
Abby

Honestly, it’s not even just about how much I love the taste of coffee..its about the experience. I get up early and get my day started..and its go go go all day. My 30 minutes in the morning with my cup of coffee and the Today show is my ME time. There is seriously nothing like watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee in hand, so peaceful and kind of reminds you that the world isn’t so bad 🙂
A little bit of coconut milk and a drop of chocolate stevia blended with Collagen protein is how I usually enjoy it in the morning. I would love to try out the bean box!
Dalia says
I drink way too much coffee :/. It reminds of spending time with my mom in the kitchen really early in the morning and she would make us both breakfast. It also reminds me of reading a book on the couch and curling up under a blanket with it on a cold day. I guess it comforts me :)I can drink coffee anywhere and any way possible.I like espresso, french press or just regular drip coffee. I also like to try new brads when I find them. Its like traveling without the suitcase to me lol. This past weekend I had coffee with pizza haha. Coffee goes with everything.
Jennifer W says
I drink my coffee with half/half and sugar. I usually drink it in the morning while watching the morning news.

I cant live without my morning coffee. I grew up tasting it at my grandparents house and then started drinking it as a teenager and I have such strong memories associated with coffee and family. Every morning I have to have it the second I wake up and its not the caffeine but the ritual and the memories. I just love coffee.

I start every morning with a cup of coffee! I also find that coffee helps me to bond with others over good conversation and laughter. My mom, my friends, and even strangers. Coffee makes the world go round. 🙂

For me, coffee is just another good excuse for my boyfriend and I to spend time together. We either brew coffee by using the simplicity of good old Mr. Coffee in the mornings or find a local cafe to meet up with friends on the weekends. Plus, I just love the flavor of coffee and experimenting with coffee flavors and styles can be a lot of fun.
JoMario Rivera says
I’ve been drinking coffee a lot more this semester because I’ve been very busy at school, but it’s pretty bad! I hadn’t been making coffee before this semester, and am now looking at better coffee beans and better ways to make coffee. I drink it every morning, and it would be great to try new and better coffee!

I try to drink coffee every morning, but with a toddler and a newborn, that doesn’t always happen! Even if I brew it in the morning lol. But I like my milk with a touch of coffee and sugar. It’s usually half cream, half coffee with a spoonful of whatever sweetener I have on hand. 🙂
