McAlister’s For Lunch!

After breakfast yesterday, Emilee and I headed to Handpicked to pick up a monogramed necklace order. The Handpicked store we go to is in Dilworth. I like to take the scenic route 🙂

We stopped to browse the consignment/antique shops in Plaza Midwood. They’re my favorite and I love the historic feel of that neighborhood.

I also have a weird obsession with doors.

After shopping around, we headed to the farmers market to pick up vegetables and local wine. One of the booths had mini gummy burgers. I have’t seen these since I was a kid! I used to pull them apart and eat them. I loved finding these in my Halloween basket.

After the farmers market, we headed to the mall. By 2o’clock, we are hungry, so we decided to eat at McAlester’s.

I ordered the grilled chicken salad with honey mustard on the side. It came with lettuce, cheese, bacon, chicken, tomatoes, and croutons. I’ve had their southwest salad and caesar salad they are good too!

Emilee had the half/half for lunch. She went with country potato soup and caesar salad. The soup was really good!
