I haven’t gone to the grocery store in a while. This afternoon, I was too busy to make a trip, so I had to make do with whatever was in the house. That’s how the best little concoctions are created. I grabbed the frozen bag of broccoli, a sweet potato, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, olive oil, and garlic powder.
I steamed the broccoli and the sweet potatoes.
I added them in a mixing bowl.
I sprayed them with toasted sesame and garlic olive oil. You can use regular olive oil as a replacement.
I sprinkled parmesan cheese on top and tossed it around.
I am a huge garlic lover, so I added a 1/2 tsp of garlic powder.
This side was so simple yet so good! It only took 10 minutes to prepare.
The more garlic the better!!
Agreed! Garlic has this nice flavour for such little quantity. Also, garlic and broccoli and natural friends 🙂
Yummy! That looks just perfect. And best: GARLIC!
We love it, too. We grow them in the garden. I love to make our own garlic oil. Some spiced with herbs or peppers.
How is Grumples doing today?
Two of my favorite vegetables!
