I hope it’s starting to feel like Fall where you’re at. It was feeling like Fall for about five minutes, but now it’s back to the upper 80’s with 100% humidity. It’s feeling like the summer days all over again. Last week, I was fighting an excruciating migraine from an outdoor workout. The heat does that to me sometimes. I wanted to stop and get migraine medication, but I had the dogs in my car. There was no way I could leave them in the car for longer than a minute without air conditioning. I remembered that CVS has a Curbside Pickup, so I decided to try it out. It was a lifesaver. I mentioned it on my Instagram, but now I’d like to walk you through the steps, just in case you’re curious as to how it works! It’s such a convenient service. I’m not a mom, but I have a feeling if there are any mom’s reading, you’ll love this! You don’t have to unstrap your kids from their car seats, worry about them running around the store, or deal with the hassle of getting out of your car! Simply drive, pick up, and go!
I’ve used the Curbside Pickup feature twice now, and I just love it. I also hooked my mom on it. She has a CVS located by her work, so she placed an order before she left home, stopped at CVS, they brought it to her car within seconds, and then she was off. She stops into CVS so much, so she loved not having to leave home early just to get in and out of the store before work.
So, let me show you how it works!
Locate your CVS store for Curbside Pickup in the CVS Pharmacy App. CVS Curbside Pickup is available in 40 major markets across the U.S.
There are so many reasons why CVS Curbside Pickup is so convenient and perfect for making shopping easier. I like things that are straight to the point. It’s ideal if you’re running late for work, if you want more time on your lunch break, for road trip stops, avoiding the rain, while you’re out and about with your pups in the car on a hot day, for parents who don’t want to wake up a sleeping baby, or if it was leg day at the gym 😉
After logging into the CVS Pharmacy App, click on CVS Express/Curbside Pickup. Choose your location and start shopping. If you often use your ExtraCare Card, you’ll see suggestions for previous orders. I love that because I’m very repetitive with my purchases. As you can see, it already had my Migraine Relief on the first page because of my order history.
All of the available sales like BOGO will be listed on the products in the app to make it easier for saving.
As soon as you place your order, you’ll receive confirmation alerts. Even though my estimate was one hour, my order was ready within twenty minutes. I also received a notification for a product the store was out of and a product that was BOGO. I opened up the app to accept the changes, added another product to take advantage of the BOGO, and received an updated total.
I headed to CVS when I received my notification that my order was ready. They send you a barcode for the store associate to scan once they deliver your bags.
When you pull into the reserved parking spot for Curbside Pickup, reply to the text message “HERE.” My order was brought out to me within twenty seconds. I don’t know about you, but my CVS is always packed! It was nice to not spend minutes searching for a spot or waiting in line at the pharmacy.
When the store associate delivered my bag to me, he couldn’t have been friendlier! He was very apologetic that they were out of pumpkin puree, but he kindly let me know that they’ll have more in tomorrow. Every time I walk into CVS, I’m always greeted. Even if the cashier is checking someone out, they always say “welcome to CVS.” The friendly environment is something I look forward to, and it makes me so proud to team up with CVS. I genuinely love this company and everything they stand for.
The app gives you a summary of everything you buy. You can order snacks, beauty items, health products, and other household products from the app. I laid out all of my products so you could see how spot on they got my order. I know for sure I’ll be using this feature over and over again. Now, if only other stores could jump on this bandwagon!
Questions for you!
- Have you ever used the CVS Curbside Pickup Feature?
- Have you taken advantage of the ExtraCare Rewards at CVS?
- Which Seasonal CVS product have you been loving? I’m obsessed with the pumpkin spiced mixed nuts!
This post is sponsored by CVS & ALL opinions are my own!
Your dogs are so cute! I can’t get enough. CVS should use them in commercials.
Hahaha! Maybe I’ll pitch that to them 😉
Are both of your dogs goldendoodles?
Yup! 😀
Our CVS started offering this as well! Do you like that facewash?
That is great!
The face wash is great because it doesn’t leave my face oily! I don’t like to get my face familiar or used to one product, so I change it up every time!
Wish we had a CVS in France 🙁
Maybe one day! 🙂
I think they should put CVS stores in all colleges. We always have to drive off campus!
That is actually an incredible idea.
This type of service sure is becoming popular. I see a ton of this activity at my local Kroger and Walmart! CVS front store cashier was my first job – I got it after making friends with the manager/staff when I used to coupon. 🙂
It’s so awesome!! Your first job? How fun!! Couponing is so easy there!!
as a Chinese,I am really proud to say, we can get what we needs anytime ( yep even though after mid-night ), we don’t even need cash anymore, and express delivery, takeout service everywhere, public bike and so on…..
how could I live without without these services?
That is pretty awesome! 🙂
Why can’t CVS be worldwide? Grrr
Maybe one day!
Our CVS doesn’t offer this yet, but I made a request to the manager after reading your post! You are the one that hooked my entire family on CVS.
That made me smile!:) Hope your CVS gets the service soon!!
Wow, sounds like a very convenient feature from CVS! 🙂

Very!!
Never bought anything, never visited, not too familiar with CVS! I’m all the way in Canada.
Well, you’re missing out!! 😉 XO
I laughed when I saw you blog this. I was actually in the Curbside parking lot when it popped up on my phone! I am with you on this service being awesome! My kids love it and call it the “CVS adventure.” I always have a surprise treat ordered for them too.
Aww! That is seriously the cutest! :):)
This looks cool. I wonder if they still deliver in the snow? I hate the snow!
I’m sure they do! If it’s in the area! 🙂
Thank you for sharing! I am a new mom, and I get extreme anxiety when going out with my newborn. I love that CVS offers this and I will be using. I signed up for the Extra Care reward program, and I already love it. I saved on baby wipes and diapers yesterday. I’m happy that you’ve partnered with CVS. Have you tried the Gold Emblem granola bars? I think they are the alternative brand to Nature Valley?
Awww! This made me so happy to read, Chloe! 😉 Congrats on your baby!! & yes yes yes! Those granola bars are so good, especially when dipped in coffee!
Not going to lie, I thought the title of this post was funny.
We just got a new CVS about two miles from my house and we are very excited. I look forward to using this service during the rain!
Hahaha glad you thought so!
Congrats on your new CVS! 🙂 They are little blessings! xo xo
I didn’t even know CVS had this option – I am going to try it out simply because I am there all the time (it’s blocks from my house) but my mom will love this even better. She had major surgery this summer and it’s still a little difficult for her to get around. She’s at CVS even more than I am and this will help her SO much by not having to get out and walk around when someone isn’t there to help her! Thank you for writing about this!
I do love my ExtraCare rewards 🙂
As for seasonal, I’ve only tried the pumpkin mixed nuts! But I’m a huge fan of all the Gold Emblem snacks. My weakness is the barbecue quinoa chips <3 <3
Have a great weekend girl!
Blocks from your house? LUCKY!!
Poor mama, praying for a quick recovery! This will definitely be convenient for her.
Oh, and those ExtraCare rewards are magical!
Ohhhh the Gold Emblem snacks are so fun and unique. You need to try the Sriracha popcorn!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend too!
Unfortunately I don’t have a CVS way up here in Canada but lemme tell you, I am a Shoppers Drug Mart addict and if they had this service it would be life changing! For those days when I have a cold and don’t wanna get out of my jammies just to grab my Nyquil and tea! lol
Why is your CVS located in S.Carolina? I thought you lived in Charlotte N.C
Charlotte is on the South Carolina border. So the CVS locations are all around the Charlotte area.
