IMG_0680Glazed Pineapple Pecan Ham

I was a picky eater growing up. The only foods I would eat were macaroni and cheese, pizza, and ham. My mom used to make ham almost every Sunday, Christmas and Thanksgiving. It’s so easy, quick, and delicious. It goes well with dinner rolls and sweet green beans. Sometimes I make this dish with mashed potatoes and use the juices from the cooked ham as gravy.

  • 1 Pound Pre-Sliced Ham
  • 2 Tablespoons Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar & Extra For Sprinkling
  • 1 Can Sliced Pineapples
  • 1 Tablespoon Pecans

  1.  Gather ingredients
  2.  Open the can of pineapple and drain the juice into a small mixing bowl. Add soy sauce and two tablespoons of brown sugar into the bowl with the pineapple juice and combine.
  3.  In a baking dish, separate the slices of ham with slices of pineapple.
  4.  Pour the pineapple juice over the ham. Top the ham with pecans and brown sugar.
  5.  Bake for 45 minutes.
  6.  Enjoy!
