Inside My Little Baking Cabinet & A Baking Supply List

I had a lot of free time this weekend. And instead of spending the weekend golfing, I had to find something else to do. I figured I’d be productive and do what I love…organize.

I have been saving my PB2 jars for about a year now. I have over fifty! I wanted to save them for my paint brushes but found they look much better in my baking cabinet. Right now we live in an apartment and these jars fit perfectly in the limited space. I washed them out and filled them with ingredients.

Here are a couple of the jars I filled so far. I have about 25 more to fill with ingredients and I’ll make sure to post that. I used a Sharpie paint pen. The pens work perfect on glass or plastic and they dry so quick! Why can’t nail polish work that fast?

A lot of you ask about the ingredients I keep in my baking cabinet so here is a list. And as you can see, I have a lot more to jar up!

  • Dark Chocolate Chips

Protein Powders I like to use for baking, shakes, and other recipes:

  • Tera’s Whey Protein Vanilla & Chocolate
  • GeniSoy Natural Protein Shake (Perfect for a flour replacement)
  • Biochem Protein

One of my favorite protein powders to cook with is Vega. The chocolate powder is so close to a real brownie mix.

I can never get enough vanilla and almond extract. As you can see my bottles are used and abused!

Some baking ingredients I use that are kept in the refrigerator:

  • Extra Ripe Bananas
  • Eggs
  • Avocados
  • Coconut Milk
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • Unsweetened Applesauce
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Skim Milk
  • Unsalted Butter

When I finish organizing my seasoning cabinet, I’ll do a post!

How do you use the vega energizing smoothie? Do you use it in brownies and if so how do you do that?
