Again, I am so proud of myself for sticking with this new healthy lifestyle. I have been great at turning down temptation, I’ve been good at moderating splurges so I don’t feel deprived, and I’ve been kicking my workouts in the butt. I am feeling so much better, less bloated, and I have so much more energy. But today is going to be rough. The roads are covered in ice, the gym is closed, and I’m going to have to force myself to do a living room workout. I kind of want to try something new. If any of you have some awesome youtube workouts, please share them in the comments!
For lunch today, I had a grilled tuna salad (tuna bought at Whole Foods). I tossed Italian mix lettuce in my homemade dressing and Parmesan.
Homemade White Garlic Balsamic Dressing: 3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons White Balsamic Vinegar, 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder, sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1 tsp italian seasoning. Shake the salad dressing really well and add it to the salad.
This makes 2-3 servings.
I added croutons and pumpkin seeds and almonds.

This one kicks my butt, but it can be a bit repetitive! It is great though. That salad looks awesome by the way.

Have you ever tried P90X or the 21 day fix? I highly recommend them if you ever feel like purchasing home DVDs to keep forever and pop in on days like this! I have been doing them since 2012 and they are life savers when the gym is closed (or I am too lazy to drive anywhere…but not lazy enough for a workout 😉 ) They really have changed my life. I tend to keep a DVD or two on hand for indoor workouts. I like the Gold’s Gym 10 minute Cardio-Blast ones. There are 3 per disc and they are pretty intense. Obviously, that won’t help you today, but just for future reference 🙂
I love the tone it up work outs, the HIIT routine is one of my favourites. I do a lot of Pilates at home too but I’m a Pilates instructor lol
I love all of the toneitup.com workouts!! They film most of them on the beach and the ladies are so energetic and fun. I think you would love it 🙂
