Karlee is a nurse. Even though being a nurse is a rewarding job, it can be very stressful. When Karlee got home yesterday, you could tell she needed a glass of wine, so we headed over to the Greene Town Center in Dayton for happy hour.
We went to Crazy Mango. They had a 4-7 happy hour with $3 house wines. We both ordered a glass of Chardonnay.
For dinner, I ordered their Fiesta salad with grilled chicken. It had avocado, onion, pico de gallo, cheese, tortilla chips, and lettuce.
Their food was pretty good!
After dinner, we stopped at the book store for books and froyo!
My froyo cup had a sampler smorgasbord .
After crafting up our froyo bowls, we went into the bookstore. I found my favorite section.
I can’t wait to finish this book.
i was wondering where in Ohio you were since I live in Dayton. The Ghostlight Coffee Shop is owned by my old band director in Dayton. They have the best coffee.
Press is better
I love haunted places! Have you heard of The Brown Lady? Or the Bell witch? How about the Bermuda triangle? 🙂 I am fascinated by things and places like these.
Some sour thingy…lol!!!
I can’t wait to hear more about why you think your place is haunted, that kind of stuff scares me and fascinates me at the same time.
Every time I see a pic of your froyo I am in awe of how u manage to get such a small amount in your cup. I *try* to do the same but it dispenses so quickly that I end up with much more than I really was hoping.
Tara,
I’m certainly impressed at your discipline to have such a small portion of fro yo. However, to the commenter- Yogurt Mountain at the Greene’s fro-yo dispensers are really slow and it does take a while to fill.
Have an amazing time in Dayton!! By the way, if you have more fro-yo this weekend, there’s another, smaller place at the Greene which I think is better- it’s called Yoba and it’s kind of behind Crazy Mango. Not self serve but to me it tastes less sweet and they have more fresh fruit available for toppings.
That salad looks amazing! I’m also obsessed with Yogurt Mountain we have one at home. I actually went to Yogurtland last night which is pretty great too!
That salad looks delicious! I’m pretty sure my house is haunted, too! Unless somebody is wearing an visibility cloak and has super-strength , lol.
I lived in a apartment, in an old farmhouse in Ashland, Oregon, when I was in college, many moons ago. I knew it was haunted when I moved in. My roommate didn’t believe me until she was haunted several times. One thing that happened to her in her sleep, was sleep paralysis, which is common when people are scared in their sleep. Both of my friends experienced this and thought it was paranormal activity. She also had other scary things happen. Nothing unusual for me. I just had my books pushed over, doors and cupboards opening as if someone was looking for something. I have been to a popular medium in Seattle when my dad passed-away. I wasn’t completely convinced but it was entertaining. As I have gotten older I have become more skeptical – especially since my dad passed away but there are a lot of inexplicable circumstances in life that make you feel like it could be paranormal. To follow up with the farmhouse, I haven’t been able to find any information on it. Oh-well…
