Well, I broke the Friday tradition. I skipped out on Stacks and made my own breakfast. I figured I’d use up my fruits and vegetables from the farmers market. Plus, I wanted to catch up on some work. I added chopped bell pepper, tomato, onion spinach, feta, and garlic in my omelet. I was inspired by one of my friend’s dad. He makes hands down the best omelets, well the best food actually.
After catching up on some work, I headed out for a run on the trails. I love running trails because you don’t have to worry about traffic, running into people, and it’s usually shaded.
And trails are so much more fun to look at. I get sick on my same routes and like to change it up.
After running five miles on the trails, I headed back for a protein shake. I am obsessed with a new protein powder and I’ll do a blog post on it later!
Around five, Emilee and I went to the driving range. It’s by far one of my most favorite activities. I was extremely proud of myself too. I haven’t golfed in weeks and I still got it:)
After golfing, I came back and got cleaned up for dinner. A group of us went over to Bradshaw’s.
I ordered their grilled chicken caesar salad and a side of sweet potato fries. After dinner, I went home and fell asleep watching lifetime movies. (my favorite) Now, I’m headed out for a workout and then back to watch the Iowa game. I’ll be on here blogging during the game! I need to fill all of you in on my France trip!

Speaking of farmers market, i should visit one before winter hits. Fall is the perfect time of harvest. 🙂

Feta in eggs is really good, isn’t it?!
I wish I could golf, my hubs has tried to teach me many times…the swing mechanics totally elude me. At least I can putt 🙂

Yeah, my hubby keeps saying we should go to the driving range, but I am pretty sure I would accidentally knock someone out with the golf club or something. Dangerous territory. lol

I’m excited to hear about that protein powder, it looks really good! That trail you ran is beautiful! I wish we had more trails like that in Michigan.

Sounds like my kinda Friday. Trail running is the best. I’m blessed with endless trails where I live, so I never get bored. Can’t wait for the post about your new favorite protein powder! I’ve been switching my powders up every few months. Right now I’m on an “About Time” kick. I’ve only tried the vanilla flavor so far, but it’s delicious, minimally processed, and all natural.

That protein shake actually looks good! Can you please give us that recipe!

I’m jealous of your nice trails. The closes thing I have to a trail is the wetlands which just isn’t the same.

Hey Taralynn, looks like the protein powder you are using is the Jamie Eason one. If so, now would be a good time to do your post because she just won Bodybuilding.com’s Women’s Product of the Year award and they are offering 15% off her protein since she won. Just a thought! Thanks for all your fun and inspiring posts!

Oh, I miss Paris! I studied Gothic architecture there last summer. Make sure to order plenty of café crèmes! You’ll love them. Also if you can visit Chartres Cathedral (it’s about 30-45 minutes outside of Paris by train) I highly recommend doing so! It is absolutely gorgeous.

I have a question…you always seem to be jogging in the park or going on nature walks. Is there anything you take with you or any tips for stayin safe out there? Thanks in advance!
