Lately, my Fridays have been very low-key and calm. I’m glad they’ve finally calmed down a little; I’m sure football season has something to do with it. Saturday and Sunday are always non stop football days. I’ve been very behind on blog posts, but after I get back from the game tonight, I’ll post a ton!
Friday night, we went to Terrace Cafe for dinner and drinks. I couldn’t keep up with everyone, so I ordered coffee. I love going to Terrace cafe because you can sit outside under the lit up trees and they have unique dishes that are incredibly fresh.
The waffle fries are probably in my top five favorites for restaurants. Above is their lobster blt.
I ordered the grilled chicken cobb salad. It came with egg, avocado, onion, cucumber, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, croutons, grilled chicken, cabbage, and ranch on the side.
They have really good appetizers too. Above is fried green tomatoes and after ordering these, all I want to do is watch the movie now! These aren’t as healthy as my recipe for fried tomatoes, but they’re still yummy.
Another fun appetizer they had…fried alligator. It tastes just like chicken. It’s actually pretty good! After dinner, I went home, watched Sweet Home Alabama and fell asleep. I wanted to be up and ready for Football Saturday (although Iowa lost).
Other Terrace Cafe Experiences:
Speaking of football, have you tried playing yourself?
I have never been to Terrace Cafe, I am definitely going to pay a visit when I’m there 🙂 But luckily we have a similar menu at our local bookstore cafe, I’ll definitely tag you in the IG pic!

SWEET HOME ALABAMA is my absolute favorite movie!!!
I’m really wondering how a former pescetarian can now eat alligator meat..
That is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. Nice choice!
