Lunch at the Common Market

Yesterday morning after BBBS, I headed to lunch in Southend to meet up with one of my girlfriends. It was an absolutely beautiful day. It was hot, the clouds were bold in the sky, and the sun was shining down.

We are both huge fans of the Common Market. You can sit outside in their little courtyard and enjoy the weather while you eat. It’s definitely one of the most hipster-y spots in Charlotte. They have a huge beverage section and foods for all diets. Last time I ate at the Common Market, I got the tomato basil wrap. They also have a great coffee selection, but it was too hot out for me.

This time, I did the build your own salad. My salad had avocado, cucumber, tomato, onion, hummus, lettuce with a side of ranch.

I fell in love with the Kombucha from Lenny Boy and got excited when I saw it at the Common Market. I wanted to try a different flavor than the one I tried at Lunas, so I chose the strawberry. It was also tasty and refreshing!

I love deli’s with character and a fun environment.
