I love being the guinea pig when it comes to trying out new foods. I have been getting tons of comments and questions about the new Quest protein/low carb chips. Because I’m a huge Quest fan, I thought I’d do a review for you guys before you spend money on them. Plus, I have been itching to try these! Foods like this have to be too good to be true…right?
Have you ever tried Baked Lays? Well if you like those, you’ll most certainly like these. They were basically identical in texture and flavor. The only thing different? The fact that Quest Protein Chips are high in protein and low carb. I think deli’s and gas stations should start putting these on their chip shelves. These would make awesome road trip snacks.
My favorite was the bbq flavored, next as the cheddar and then the plain.
The Quest chips were really good dipped in salsa. For 21 g of protein, 5 g of carbs, 120 calories, and 2 grams of fat, you can’t go wrong! Most chips have over 25 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of fat, 190 plus calories, and sugars. Plus what kind of chips have protein in them? Not many, if any! I’ll be thankful for these on the days I feel like snacking for no reason. I had a friend come over who has been itching to try these and she also loved them.
