When you find a good breakfast spot…
When you find a good breakfast spot, you just want to tell everyone you know; it’s like finding the four leaf clover. That is how I feel about Stacks. I have eaten at Stacks a lot and every time someone visits or a friend hasn’t been there, I make it a must.
Yesterday morning, I took my parents to Stacks for breakfast. I started out with my favorite…coffee.
I ordered their garden omelet without mushrooms made with egg whites. I had a side of hash browns and fruit.
The omelet was stuffed with spinach, onion, tomatoes, and bell peppers.
Their fruit was incredibly fresh. I think I’ve mentioned that in a post before.
Our breakfast came with bread.
My dad ordered the same thing but with mushrooms, eggs, and ham.
My mom ordered a pancake for one of her sides. I was curious how their pancakes tasted. I’ve tried their biscuits, waffles, and muffins, but not a pancake. It was incredible, like a vanilla cupcake!
For my mom’s meal, she ordered the fruit and granola bowl. It was filled with granola, vanilla greek yogurt, strawberries, bananas, grapes, blueberries, cantaloupe, and pineapple.

My breakfast spot would be Starbucks. I love the chil out atmosphere and the sound of coffee machines 🙂 would breakfast also be your biggest meal of the day, Tara?
I’ll keep that in mind! The pancakes look delicious. 🙂 But my breakfast spot is undoubtedly Starbucks. I love the coffee, atmosphere and cakes.
They also have a Stacks in Matthews!
You should see if you can get one of their mugs you go there so often haha! All of the food looks so good too!
Are those train tracks near the restaurant?
The train tracks are right down the street from the restaurant in downtown Waxhaw. It is a beautiful back in the day downtown with old buildings and signs. It is beautiful.
I live in Charlotte and work in Waxhaw and pass Stacks every day but have not been able to go inside and try it out. Now that I see that someone else has been I will have to find someone to go with me. I have been following your page for a long time when you were on Tumblr and I am so happy that you decided to move to the great state of NC and live in the best city around. I haven’t been on in awhile and realized that you got a website and found out you had moved. I am trying to lose weight so I will be on here more often. You have great advice and amazing recipes.
