Yesterday was Jeremy’s moms birthday! I woke up bright and early, got some work done, ordered breakfast from room service, and then headed down to the party store to get some birthday goodies!  PicMonkey Cjollage.jpg

She texted me and told me she was at breakfast, so I went down to the buffet and decorated her with birthday goodies! She wore her crown around Vegas all day. She was so funny, but I love how cute she looks in pink!

Jeremy, his parents, and I decided to walk to the Vegas sign. I’ve only been there a ton of times and have yet to see the sign! It was a three mile walk there and three mile walk back!

We Rented electric scooters for his parents so they could come with us!

It started to get dark on the way back. We made some pit stops at casinos and stores. Jeremy thought he’d take the easy way out and hop on his mom’s scooter.

I was super hungry at one of the casinos we went to, so I bought some almonds, pretzels and hummus! Oh how I miss fresh vegetables and hummus from the grocery store!

Walking around Vegas at sunset is a must. The buildings light up and the sun reflects off the glass. It’s beautiful.

And we stopped at New York, New York

The casino that is…

If it was acceptable, I’d chug this down. I love the mini M&Ms! Cindy and I stopped at the M&M store to pick up some jammies for Jeremy’s nephew.

After getting back to the hotel, I went upstairs to shower and get ready for the night.

I met Jeremy and his parents down at the sports bet bar to watch the Iowa game. I had a passion tea from Starbucks.

For dinner, Jeremy’s dad chose the Paris buffet. It was pretty good! Lots of french cuisine. I had roasted root vegetables, broccoli, salmon, carrots, salad, a fried potato, and pasta.

My second plate had roasted vegetables, garlic cheese crisp, potatoes, rice, chicken, fruit, and macaroni and cheese.

And I always save room for dessert. I have decided that macaroons are my favorite dessert. I’ll eat them over cupcakes. I love them so much! I had a couple macaroons, some cookies, and ice cream!

After dinner, we enjoyed some wine for Cindy’s birthday!

Today, Jeremy and I are going out to lunch together and going to check out a show!

  1. Out of the hotels you have stayed at in Vegas so far, which one would you recommend?

    1. If you are staying on the Strip, stay at the Venetian or Cosmo! If you are staying on Fremont, The Rush Tower at Golden Nugget! My favorite hotel was the HOTEL at the Mandalay Bay, even though it was a little further down the strip! I LOVED it!
