I love making protein smoothies for breakfast, before the gym, or when I need a pick-me-up. I’ve cut my caffeine intake, too. I used to drink at least 4 cups of coffee a day. Now I’m drinking one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The energy in my green shakes keep me feeling great without the caffeine and I don’t get a crash.
My protein shake had 1/2 Large banana, 1/2 apple, 1 1/2 cup almond milk, 2 cups ice, 1 cup fresh kale, 1 cup fresh spinach, 1/2 packet True Lemon, and 1 scoop vanilla protein powder!

Hey, I was wondering if i could substitute the milk for water? And, if I don’t have true lemon what I could put instead? Absolutely love your blog! It’s my go-to for healthy food options!

How do you measure your greens? Is it 1 cup packed or 1 cup loose packed?
