For me the best time of the day to work out is in the morning! My days run more smoothy, I seem more focused and I eat so much healthier. Most of the time I come home from work/schoo and I don’t feel like lifting a finger. Morning work outs is a great way to trick you body into exercise. The hard part is the waking up part. I don’t know how many times I have been so pumped about my morning work out, then the alarm goes off and I fall right back asleep. Here are a couple tips that help me!
Try to go to bed in your workout clothes, it helps eliminate the excuse of “I don’t want to get ready” Getting ready in the morning takes about fifteen minutes of walking like a zombie to the closet staring blankly and debating whether to just stay in pajamas and go back to bed.
Invite a friend to work out in the morning! No one wants to “bail out on friends” It’s a perfect trick! If you friend bails at least you are all up and ready to go!
The night before set everything by the door that you will need for the day! Your lunch box which will remind you of the lunch you have made in the fridge. Your school books, a change of clothes, and your back pack!
Have your favorite work out song as your alarm clock, to remind you that working out can be fun!
Going to bed is also very important, waking up tired and working out is never fun, and if it’s not fun most likely you wont do it again.
