This is my favorite way to marinate chicken before throwing it onto the grill. It's sweet, tangy, and savory! Perfect on salads, in pasta, wraps, or by itself.
1CupHoney or Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauceyour favorite brand
1/4CupHoney Mustard
2TeaspoonsGarlic Powder
1TeaspoonBlack Pepper
1/3CupWater
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients into a large bowl or ziplock bag and marinate for 24-48 hours. The longer the better.
Turn the grill to super high heat and let the chicken char!
It will be the BEST grilled chicken you’ve ever eaten. This is how I always make my grilled chicken now!
Make sure to check for an internal temp of 165 degrees. You don’t want to cook over that as your chicken will end up being dry. Marinating it also helps keep it nice and juicy!
