I love hosting dinners, especially Thanksgiving! I enjoy decorating the table, spending hours cooking and baking, and soaking up all the family and football time. It’s light, fragrant, and festive, the perfect mocktail for Thanksgiving or Christmas!
In a large pitcher, combine cranberry juice, honey, orange slices, star anise, cinnamon stick, and a handful of cranberries. Fill glasses halfway with the cranberry-orange mixture. Top with chilled ginger ale and a few ice cubes.
Garnish each glass with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of orange.

One thing we don’t make much of is sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, or really any casserole for that matter. I prefer to make fresh green beans, roasted brown sugar sweet potatoes (recipe coming soon!), and a variety of roasted vegetables instead.

Steam them in the bag or pre-boil until tender, then add them to a frying pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Let them lightly brown, then turn off the heat and sprinkle with garlic powder, a touch of honey or brown sugar, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss and enjoy!
