Last night I had the opportunity to check out the newly designed women’s section at Dick Sporting Goods® thanks to Vocalpoint and Dick’s Sporting Goods®. Although this is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own. The newly designed women’s section was like heaven. They have different styles of clothing and brands to help you get through the day easily and comfortably.
The women’s section took over half of the store and I was so overwhelmed as to where to start.
I love running, walking and hiking followed by coffee dates or lunch dates with my friends. I look for clothing that I can wear straight from workout to coffee shop. Not only do I like clothes that are comfortable to workout in, I like workout clothes that are comfortable to hang out in. I wear workout clothes 75% of the time. Sometimes I’ll pair a nice shirt with workout leggings or wear a workout shirt with jeans.
Sometimes you can even find workout clothes that you can also wear to the office like this really cute cozy sweater. I like the way the mannequin has the scarf paired with it. It doesn’t even look like a workout top, but it’s stretchy, soft, and perfect for yoga or a chilly morning run.
I browsed all around the store looking for items that I can wear on my hikes and running. I also wanted clothes that were appropriate to wear into a grocery store or out for brunch.
Running leggings are my favorite and Dick’s Sporting Goods has a huge selection. I had a hard time choosing which pair I wanted, but decided to stick to black and white ones because they go well with so many other colors. You could probably get away with wearing these pants to the office with cute shoes and a white sweater. That way you can change your shoes, throw on a top and be gym ready in no time. Dick’s Sporting Goods has a lot of basics and I love those because you can pair them with basically anything. The top I have on works great with running leggings or with cute Khaki’s for my golf outings in the spring. Speaking of golf, their women’s golf section has a lot of cute skirts, shorts, and polos for work.
I am a bargain shopper, so the sales racks are my best friends. Dick’s Sporting Goods had a sales rack every ten feet. All of my favorite brands were hanging up and marked as half off. I love variety.
They had tons of dressing rooms so I didn’t have to wait. I was really surprised at some of the new brands they had in the store. I tried on things I normally wouldn’t and ended up loving them. One of the employees helped me pick out some outfits. I love that they offer so many different styles and not exclusively for “fitness” bodies. I love to workout, but I’m nowhere near perfect and somethings I leave on the shelf! They have clothing for every body type.
Weekend outfits are my favorite.
This is definitely my casual weekend/errands look. I’m always rocking comfortable sweats/leggings on Saturdays while I’m out and about. Even when I’m not out and about, this is what you’d find me in. If I’m really lucky, I’ll have nothing planned for a Saturday night so I can stay in this outfit all night and watch movies. If you don’t dress like this for a Saturday matinée movie, you’re missing out!
This is a great sweater for this time of year because it jumps between chilly and warm. You can hide a shirt underneath and wrap the sweatshirt around your waste. The sweater is also a perfect example of shirts that look great with jeans, making it flexible for any casual activity. I headed over to have coffee with my dad this morning and this was the perfect sweater to keep me warm in the chilly morning air. I also take advantage of their neighborhood for running.
This weekend I’ll be running with my friend Anthony followed by a stop at the juice bar! You better believe I’ll be wearing my new workout clothes!
Now, I will be choosing one of my readers to win a $50.00 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods so you can go check out the new women’s department and find an awesome outfit for yourself!
