A Girlie Board: Pretty Charcuterie Board with Food & Flowers
A Girlie Board: Pretty Charcuterie Board with Food & Flowers
One of my close girlfriends just had her third baby boy a few days ago! Before she gave birth, I made sure to take note of some of her favorite things: red wine, tiramisu, and charcuterie. As soon as I heard she was heading home from the hospital, I prepared a big charcuterie board for her and her family to enjoy.
After putting this board together, I couldn’t help but think, Wow, this would make the perfect Valentine’s Day board! I had my new favorite flowers, strawflowers, which are also on my summer garden planning list. They feel like paper!

I love charcuterie boards, and putting them together is the most fun part!
I enjoy mixing sweet items with savory ones, pairing cheeses with fruits, and adding all the fun little finger snacks in between.
Here’s everything I included on this cheese board:
Cheese:
- Pepper Jack
- Habanero Cheddar Jack
- Parmesan
- Orange Hot Honey Goat Cheese
Meats:
- Soppressata
- Prosciutto
- Salami
Crackers:
- Wheat Crackers
- Hot Chili Wafers
Fruits:
- Grapes
- Strawberries
Sweets:
- Tiramisu
- Caramel Wafers
- Dark Chocolate Almonds
- Figs
- Mixed Nuts
- Candied Pecans

I think it’s so Valentine’s Day-ish with the pink flowers, chocolate sweets, and a side of strawberries. It also makes a wonderfully festive spring board! In the south, Valentines Day is the LAST celebration before the spring temps start to come out.

Have you ever seen those DIY girls’ nights where everyone brings ingredients to create a charcuterie board together? How fun would that be!
I love pairing sparkling mocktails with charcuterie boards—they’re the perfect combo. Anything with sparkling water, freshly squeeze citrus, ginger, and berries!
