It was 104 degrees yesterday! I guess this is what you call a southern summer. Nick had a baseball game and both of my parents came. I don’t know how anyone can play baseball under the hot sun in socks, pants, and thick jerseys; I was burning up in a T-shirt. I cut the team up some fresh watermelon from the farmers market so they could stay hydrated.
Tino found a great place under the shade 🙂
I was all over the place yesterday and only had about an hour before the game to spare. I made a quick protein smoothie so I wouldn’t get too hungry at the game.
I had a doctors appointment, another appointment, and a couple of other errands to run that ended up taking all day. The only thing I had a chance to eat was a bowl of cereal and dunkin d’s coffee. So, the smoothie was a must!
Ingredients: 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 cup ice, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 packet stevia, and 1 scoop vanilla protein powder.
SO GOOD & FILLING!

I love that picture of you and your dad. It is so cute! I cannot wait until my parents and I are living closer to each other again. They are moving at the same time me and my husband are moving, and we will only be an hour apart 😀 woot woot!
