I had one heck of a Sunday. I guess that’s what you call a “Sunday Funday.” The early sunrise beaming through the blinds woke me up Sunday morning. I made a cup of coffee, did some Pinteresting, and watched T.V. Around eight, I got up to get ready for church.

Nick and I usually go to Stacks after church, but we went to Stacks on Saturday, and so we decided to do something different. He recommended the Fish Market where he took his grandpa. They turn their restaurant into a breakfast brunch on Sundays. We must have beat the church crowd because we were the only ones in there. The buffet was huge. They had lunch items, soups, omelets, fresh fruit, desserts, and all kinds of breakfast foods.

I stuck to breakfast for my first plate. I had a biscuit, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and french toast. My second plate was more lunch-y. I had macaroni, eggs, bow tie salad, salad, fresh fruit, and a piece of bacon.

And the coffee was perfect!

Nick and I had our fun at the dessert bar 😉

Lemon cheesecake, chocolate swirl cake, and lemon poppy seed bread!

After breakfast, I worked a little on the computer and put together my Etsy shop! Around 4:30 the Lions game came on! I was so happy when they beat the Vikings! They are doing awesome this season and I can’t wait to see how far they get!

After the game, Nick’s parents made dinner. They made roast beef, green beans, dinner rolls, salad and mashed potatoes with gravy.

All the food was awesome! I’ve been craving roast beef for a long time and that reminds me; I need to post my mom’s crock pot roast recipe soon! After dinner, we walked the dogs, and then sat down to watch Nick’s team, the Cowboys, beat the Eagles. We also made ice cream cones and coffee to go with:) Tonight, I’m going to dinner with Emilee before she heads home for Christmas!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a good Monday! What are your plans this week?

  6. Hey, Taralynn, I’ve been a fan for about a year or two. I’ve been wanting to lose weight (especially now that I have a two month old!) but I don’t know where to start! I’ve tried several times but never succeeded for long. I HATE feeling hungry (always the biggest thing standing in my way) and I always feel this unnatural anxiety over trying to choose what to eat and when. I also start freaking out especially when my husband and I are out and I don’t know what to eat (I don’t want to constantly eat Subway if we’re out, that’s no fun!). Any advice? Currently 235 lbs, goal is 140.

  7. Sounds like a fantastic Sunday! And HOLY COW, those cakes look good!
