Stacks & A Birthday Weekend!
Wow, it’s been Friday since I’ve posted. That is not ok! But, I’ve been go go go all weekend. Seriously, I have about 15 posts to upload just from the weekend alone.
I’ve been dining out in charlotte, going to baseball games, hanging with friends, shopping, going out, and most importantly celebrating Emilee’s birthday weekend! I’m about to head to a friends house and get completely food coma-d out with Italian cuisine. I’ll be on later tonight to post more!
Friday morning, I wanted to introduce her to my FAVORITE breakfast place. You all know about it. STACKS in Waxhaw. I’m telling you, their coffee is spot on and their food never fails me.
I started my breakfast with a seasonal fruit bowl.
And then, I had the veggie omelet, a side of wheat toast and hash browns.
She loved Waxhaw. I took her to the little antique shops and we explored the town.
I love all the gold antiques.
My favorite place in Waxhaw is the bookstore. I bought so many great books that I can’t wait to read. I’ll post more about them later.

Me too! Especially the easy fix me uppers! (sure that’s a word somewhere) I just redid a shelf gold and black with Emilee. I’ll post it soon!

what do you usually get in your omelets at Stacks? I just started eating egg white omelets and I’ve made them with spinach and cheese. Just curious what you usually have in yours. 🙂
I usually just get vegetables! It all depends where I’m going. I like turkey bacon, veggies, and cheese in mine most of the time! Egg whites of course.

Those cupcakes look so fun!! & the candles are adorable. I would love to visit Charlotte sometime, you make it seem so enticing. & I would definitely have to check out the bookstore. I could spend all day just there!
It’s the best place I’ve been so far! If you do every come to Charlotte, that bookstore in Waxhaw is a must!
