Creating Wall Decor for The Place & A Mango Protein Shake!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Good morning and happy Monday!

I had a very successful weekend full of working out, girl’s nights, putting the place together, and down time by the pool. That’s what the weekends are all about. I’m getting really excited about decorating the place, but have an obsession with doing my own art instead of buying pre made art for the walls. Something I’ve been doing is drawing something, taking a photo of it and uploading it o the computer.

After I upload it to the computer, I play with the colors and filters and then upload them to a site and get them printed on canvas. Above is the elephant I drew on Saturday. I’m still playing with some colors before I get it printed. I think I’m going to do a collage with all kinds of colors and shades. I’m thinking mainly grey and gold to go with my room colors.

I could sit for hours and play with the colors.

After my workout Saturday and playing around with the art, I went out for a long workout with Samantha. I talk about it in a previous post and promised to post the recipe for the smoothie above. So here it is!

*1 cup of unsweetened flax milk (can be replaced with any kind of milk), *2 cups ice, *1 cup water, *1 serving Genisoy protein powder, *1 packet all natural Truvia Mango drink mix, and *1/2 banana.

  16. Hey Taralynn! Your art is fantastic! Have you ever heard of etsy.com? You ought to check it out and try to sell some of your art! I just recently opened a shop for my art on there – it’s slow progress but my inventory is small for now. I read in another post of yours that you’re not very confident in your art – YOU’RE AMAZING! Keep up the work 🙂
