Lunch at Rippington’s Restaurant.

I have to make this post speedy quick because I have approximately ten minutes before meeting up with my workout wife. I kind of learned my lesson about putting posts off. My memory can be like Dory’s sometimes. If you don’t know who Dory is…I feel sorry for you…

This morning Lily and I went to Waxhaw for lunch. I love everything about little towns with character and that’s why I love coming to Waxhaw. We ate at the Rippington’s restaurant. For some reason, I’ve proceeded to call it Remington’s all day. I’m sure they get that a lot. I started off with coffee…you know me 😉

Their salads looked delicious and it was hard to pick. I’m always bad at choosing things off the menu.

I ordered their grilled shrimp salad. It was more of a grilled shrimp southwest salad. It came with black beans, corn, cheese, onion, tomatoes, and mixed greens. Their shrimp was flawless. I have no idea what it was seasoned with but I’m OK with that.

After lunch, we walked over to Provisions (My favorite little market) to pick up some local honey. I get way too excited about honey. I think I’d be more happy with a jar of honey over diamond earrings. Plus, local honey is good for allergies. SO THEY SAY.

And then I met a new friend. I let Lily walk around while I played with this cute fur ball:)
