Although we had maybe two hours of sleep, we got up early to explore Charleston.
I tried to make myself as presentable as possible.
Our first mission was to find a breakfast cafe.
We walked towards the market and found Sweetwater cafe!
First things first, coffee.
We requested the window seat so we could people watch! 🙂
Everything on the Menu looked fantastic!
I ordered the garden omelet with fresh fruit and wheat toast. I tried to keep it healthy since I knew we were going out tonight for dinner and drinks. You can still maintain a healthy weight and drink. You just have to dodge the obstacles like syrups, the drunk greasy drive thru and eat healthier through out the day.
Samantha ordered a salad that looked delicious. It had salsa, shrimp, cheese, romaine and tomatoes!
Sealy ordered a scrumptious stack of banana pancakes and cheesy grits. It was my first time trying cheesy grits and it tasted just like cheesy potatoes. I loved them! We kind of flopped our plates around trying each others meals.
I loved seeing all the horses on the street!
We shopped down King Street after breakfast.
We ran into Obey Giant doing work! (read more about the artist here)
So I’ve decided this is my favorite of all the places I’ve been.
We walked and shopped and shopped!
I added a new addition to the bracelet fam:)
After King Street, we headed over to the farmers market and did more exploring! I’ll work on posting the rest later on!
