I will have a post filled with Thanksgiving recipes soon. The reason for the delay? Well, I left my camera over at Jeremy’s parents yesterday. It’s filled with all the evidence of a delicious Thanksgiving feast. Several Thanksgiving feast, actually! I did manage to snap a couple photos with my phone to share!
The night before Thanksgiving, I prepared my favorite, Chocolate covered strawberries. It’s a little lighter than most desserts, too. I just dipped them in chocolate and sprinkled them with festive sprinkles. I took orange candy melts and drizzled them on some.
Thanksgiving morning, I took Grumps out for a long walk. The cold (18 degrees) was torture, but he is worth it.
We stopped at the little playground at the school and went through all the obstacles. He loves climbing up the slides!
And you’re never too old to enjoy a play ground.
After our walk we cuddled up to get warm before I started to bake! 🙂
Around three, I headed over to Jeremy’s house for Thanksgiving. I brought over my sesame green beans.
Jeremy’s dad always makes me smoked salmon and shrimp. He’s the man! Jeremy’s mom’s homemade rolls and macaroni and cheese is always a hit, too.
Cindy, Jeremy’s mom, bought a large Turkey frosted cookie cake from Mrs. Fields. So delicious!
My parents also had a Thanksgiving!
How cute is that guy!? Love ya, Dad!
And that beautiful lady!? Love ya, Mom!
I’ll post some of my mom’s traditional recipes soon.
Later when I get my camera, I’ll post my recipe for apple pie. I am so proud for making my first pie! It has so much room for improvement when it comes to style, but it was DELICIOUS! I had some for breakfast…whoops.
