Pre-Run Breakfast!

Pre workout breakfast to get me through my morning run! 

-Toast with homemade blackberry jalapeno pepper jam from the Georgia farmers market topped with sea salt cashews.

-Fresh diced pineapple.

-5 Egg white scramble mixed with summer squash, bell pepper, and onion!

-To make the egg whites fluffy, I mixed in 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk!

I plan on running the 4 mile country road! I’m excited to make it to the end and back (8 miles) I have finally upped my miles since recovering from runner’s knee and Achilles tendinitis two weeks ago. I took off two months from running! I replaced the running with swimming but I’m excited to work my miles back up.

Post workout breakfast: 1 Larabar, an apple and a scoop of almond butter!
