This weekend has been one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time. Jeremy and I planned on going to Disney World this weekend, but decided to stay home and do relaxing things around town. I’m so glad we did. We are heading to the Detroit area next weekend and need some down time before that drive. Yesterday morning, I went for a run, enjoyed my coffee while watching the food network, then headed to the craft store to work on a project. I’ll finish the project today and post it 🙂 When Jeremy woke up, we headed to our tee time for a day of golf. The weather was perfect and the sun felt so good.
When Jeremy and I play golf, we spend all day out on the course. I decided to bring some snacks to keep us energized in the heat. We also packed water to keep hydrated.
I packed my Vega one bars for us. I had mine for an afternoon snack to hold me over until dinner. They have a good amount of protein that keeps you full longer. The bars melted slightly, but I like them that way. I either like them frozen or melted.
Golf is a great way to get exercise and have fun at the same time. When you are doing something you enjoy, it doesn’t seem like exercise. It beats spending all weekend on the couch. Exercise doesn’t have to happen in a gym. Go find something you like to do and switch it up.
After spending hours golfing, we were ready for dinner! We went to a sushi & seafood buffet. I am really starting to like Sushi! I guess I’ll have to come up with some fun sushi recipes!
