Chocolate Strawberry Protein Fluff

Have you seen the “life changing protein fluff” recipe floating around the web? I’ve been seeing it over and over again and finally decided to try it out. My recipe was inspired and originated from this video on youtube.

What the heck is protein fluff?

During the holidays, do you ever go to parties where their is orem fluff, watergate salad, orange fluff…? It’s kind of like that but colder, a tad bit foamier depending on the protein powder you choose, and so much better for you.

Yesterday, I made a smaller batch and went with the chocolate strawberry flavor instead of the vanilla strawberry.

You will need: 1/4 cup chocolate whey protein powder (or vanilla or any flavor you prefer), 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries, 1 1/4 cups of unsweetened almond milk.

My cups were heaping for the strawberries. Dump them into the mixer.

Add the almond milk. Make sure most of them are covered.

Also, my 1/4 cup was heaping. I used Tera’s Whey chocolate protein powder.

Gradually increase the speed until it’s on max speed and whip for a good 4-5 minutes.

The texture was very fluffy but a little foamy.

  1. But I don’t standing mixer like that 🙁
Can I make it in a blender? Or should I just come over to have some of yours 😀

    1. Then it would be a strawberry smoothie.

This sort of reminds me of a meringue. Only vegan.

  2. Should the frozen strawberries be thawed first? If they’re frozen will a mixer be able to break them up enough? I want to try this! Blueberries would be good too!

  3. Is there no place to print out this recipe without all the pictures to have it saved in my binder?
