Who Want’s S’more Oatmeal?

I can eat s’mores anytime of the day! But, S’mores for breakfast? Heck yes! Mornings where I have high cardio workouts, I like to give my self a little extra boost of energy. Oatmeal is always my go-to for that. Adding chocolate or marshmallows to your breakfast won’t hurt you, as long as it’s in moderation. Today for breakfast, I had this delicious 180 calorie bowl of oatmeal with a side of strawberries. This breakfast kept me through my workout without feeling tired. It’s also a great breakfast for long mornings at school or work. It should help you stay full and energetic, until lunchtime.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Tbsp Mini Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/3 Cup Whole Grain Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Jumbo Marshmallow (cut up)
  • 1/4 Large Whole Grain Graham Cracker

Microwave oats and water together, for 1 minute on high. Stir until thick. Add in ground cinnamon.

After mixing cinnamon in well, top with: chocolate chips, marshmallow and graham cracker.

Nutrition: 180 Calories, 4g Fat, 32g Carbs, 4g Fiber, 10g Sugar, 5g Protein
