Crispy, flaky, and packed with sweet and savory flavor, this 15 minute salmon is better than any restaurant version. Made in the air fryer or oven, it cooks up perfectly tender on the inside with a golden, almost fried exterior. Finished with honey, soy sauce, citrus, and simple seasonings, it is an easy and healthy dinner.
Line your air fryer rack with tin foil for easy cleanup.
Place the salmon skin side down on the foil.
Drizzle lightly with olive oil or avocado oil.
Add soy sauce and orange juice (or lime juice) over the top.
Season generously with Everything But the Bagel seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and dried dill.
Finish with a quick drizzle of honey (or brown sugar) over the top.
Air fry at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes (OR oven bake for 15 minutes at 375-degrees)
Check the internal temperature around the 7 minute mark. I remove the salmon around 142 degrees and leave the thermometer in so it rises to about 145 degrees as it rests.Optional: Broil for the last 1 to 2 minutes if you want the top extra crispy. (I always do this if I'm oven baking)
Spoon the extra honey soy juices from the foil over the salmon before serving.
