A little fall baking 🎃👩🏻‍🍳 This is my go to cut ou A little fall baking 🎃👩🏻‍🍳 This is my go to cut out sugar cookie with royal icing recipe! Leaving the recipe in the caption (but extra details on the blog!) 🍪 EASY NO CHILL CUT OUT SUGAR COOKIES Cookies: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 cup sugar 1 egg 3 tsp vanilla 1 tsp almond extract, optional 2 tsp baking powder 3 cups all purpose flour Cream butter + sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg + extracts. Slowly add flour + baking powder until dough forms. Roll dough ¼ inch thick, cut into shapes + place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 9–10 minutes. Cool completely before icing! Royal Icing: 5 tbsp meringue powder ¼ cup warm water 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1 tbsp vanilla Whip meringue powder + water until foamy. Slowly mix in powdered sugar + vanilla until smooth. Add water to thin or powdered sugar to thicken. Decorate, let the icing harden + enjoy! #sugarcookiedecorating #royalicingcookies #dyefree #fallbaking #cookies
