Thank you, CVS Pharmacy for sponsoring today’s post. All opinions are my own!
Most of the things that get thrown into stockings are quick and easy finds, and most of the time, they get tossed out before the new year. I always get chocolate or other types of candies that usually go to waste. After the holidays are over, I hardly want to look at treats after all the goodies. This year, I want my family’s stockings to be filled with better-for-you treats and products that encourage self-care. These are the healthier indulgences I love keeping around my house, and products that always get used up throughout the year. Today, I’m teaming up with CVS Pharmacy to share a few stocking stuffers you can add to your list this holiday season. They are perfect for last-minute shopping since you can find them in the stores! Be honest, you also leave stocking shopping last 😉 CVS Pharmacy is the most convenient destination to find a wide variety of innovative self-care and proactive wellness solutions, and most of the products fit perfectly into a holiday sock!
CVS Pharmacy understands that self-care a vital part of proactive health care, and they are working hard to add new and exciting things to make self-care easier for 5 million+ Americans who shop in THEIR stores daily. And since I’m one of those daily shoppers, I appreciate everything they are doing to make my goal of living my healthiest lifestyle more accessible than ever. I’m so excited to bring the gift of self-care to my family this year!
There’s nothing better than grabbing a cup of hot chocolate, wrapping gifts, and then sitting back to relax once you’re done. CVS Pharmacy is going above and beyond to make it easier and more convenient than ever to find the best self-care products for your holiday shopping. They have launched hundreds of unique and exciting products this year focused on physical, mental, emotional, and social health! We all have different forms of self-care, but at the end of the day, it’s all about how self-care can make your life a little better.
Whether you’re filling up the stocking with vitamins or healthy snacks, you can rest assured knowing that CVS products are the best. CVS has a wide variety of vitamins and supplements, and I love that they created the Tested to Be Trusted program, which requires third-party testing of ALL vitamins and supplements sold in-store and online to confirm the accuracy of the dietary ingredients listed on the supplement facts panel and to confirm products are free from certain additives and ingredients. It gives me total peace of mind that I can trust what I’m buying and putting in my body. To me, treating your body with only the best supplements and vitamins is self-care!
Some of my favorite vitamins that would be a perfect stocking gift are:
CVS Health Immune Support Vitamin C
Sundown Natural Vitamins
ALL of the Olly Gummies
CVS Health Biotin Gummies for Skin, Nails & Hair
CVS Health Fish Oil Softgels
CVS Health Fiber Gummies
CVS Health Advanced Probiotic Gummies
CVS Health Women’s Complete Daily Multivitamin
One of the gifts I’ve been contemplating for everyone this year is an essential oil diffuser. I love the benefits of the oils, and CVS has a large selection. They are a great way to encourage self-care and health.
The Radiance Platinum Aromatherapy Travel Diffuser, along with all the extra oils, is the perfect stuffer! You can fit a travel-sized diffuser into the stocking, which is so cool.
All my favorite oils: Radiance Lavender Oil, Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lemon Oil, Frankincense Oil, Energize Blend, Refresh Blend, Platinum Mental Endurance, Platinum Brain Ease, Platinum Alert Mind, Radiance Mental Fuel, Platinum Brain Support+.
The Ellia Essential Oil Roll-on (Lavender or Let Go) is one of my favorite stocking ideas. That AND Burts Bees! You can never go wrong with chapstick in the wintertime.
I love that I’m choosing to gift self-care to the ones that mean the most to me this year. Everyone deserves a good self-care routine no matter what it entails. CVS is also encouraging customers to treat themselves well by practicing self-care and proactive wellness regularly. They understand that self-care means different things to different people, but it’s an important part of everyday health for EVERYONE, regardless of age, gender, or income.
It’s important to encourage not only yourself but also your friends and family to practice a good self-careroutine. And gifting them with products to do that shows just how much you care about their wellbeing! You all know by now how much I love working with CVS, and going into the stores exploring their aisles filled with new products is one of my favorite things to do, especially this holiday season!
A few other fun better-for-you stocking stuffers that I added to my list are:
Navitas Organics Goji Berries (which I love making homemade granola with!)
Mickelberry Gardens Ginger Honey Tonic (perfect for adding to your BeWellTeas!)
Wasatch Nectar Raw Honey + Electrolytes Packet
Wedderspoon Organic Manuka Honey Pops (These are too cute in the stockings!)
Gaiam Sure-Grip Water Bottle
BrainJuice Shot (Peach Mango)
CVS Health Cupholder Wipes
Gold Emblem Abound Dark Chocolate Chickpeas (YUM!)
Gold Emblem Abound Fruit Strips
Pressed by KIND bar (mango apple chia and pineapple kale spinach)
barkTHINS, dark chocolate
Made Good Chocolate Banana Granola BarsI hope this post inspired you to fill up the stockings with better-for-you choices to encourage self-care this holiday season! Hey Taralynn! I just wanted to warn you that essential oil diffusers can be bad for dogs (a lot of essential oils are toxic to pets). I just learned this myself for my cats.
Hope you have a merry Christmas!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks for the heads up, Emily! I always make sure to research which ones are pet-friendly! xo but glad you mentioned this!

My mom always manages to find super cool stuff for our stockings – she’ll do like $5 or $10 gift cards to random places, hair ties, chapstick, etc. I love stockings lol
My mom! And my sister. The both deserve it!
Taralynn McNitt says
So sweet of you to think of your mom & sister.
Karyssa Schmitt says
The self care item I would love to try is the Radiance Essential Oil Diffuser. I have been traveling recently and I wish I would have had this to take to New York since it was a work trip and essential oils would have helped me wind down at night after a long day of sales training.
Taralynn McNitt says
You’re right about that! You deserve ALL the self-care after that. xo
Megan W. says
I would love to get the Radiance Platinum Aromatherapy Travel Diffuser and use the Eucalyptus oil. I have been wanting to get a little diffuser for so long, I will definitely be convincing my husband this is a stocking necessity!!!!

Perfect gift to add to the holiday list!
Katie Groh says
Hi Taralynn! What a great giveaway! I love that you’ve had self care ones recently. I have been trying to get into a better routine. I even started putting my vitamins by the coffee maker, you’re right, it works!
To answer the questions:
1. The biotin hair and nails gummies sound great, I’ve been trying to find a good one to help my nails be less brittle! But also, let’s be honest…I’d love to try those barkthins!!
2. My favorite thing in a stocking is face wash and lotion, every year my mom will get me some of my favorite brand and it’s such a treat because it is a little expensive, but so worth it!
3. I want to give self care to my sister and Mom, I think they would really appreciate it!
Taralynn McNitt says
Yes! That coffee maker trick really works!
💜
Katie says
I do love stuffing a stocking with goodies! I would like to try an oil diffuser. I love the smell of essential oils and just haven’t invested in one yet. For myself, I honestly love receiving Starbucks gift cards in my stockings ☕️ I work an office job with a Starbucks right across the street, so it’s my daily treat. I definitely like giving self care to my husband who’s a nurse at the local hospital. He works in ICU and is very dedicated to helping his patients. Last year when we had that big snow that shut the roads down he walked to work at 5 a.m. (which is nearly 2 miles from our home) in deep snow and very low temperatures. He knew a lot of nurses couldn’t make it in due to the roads and didn’t want patient health to suffer. If anyone deserves self care, it’s him!
Taralynn McNitt says
Wow, your husband sounds like an incredible and selfless person. ♥️
Deborah says
I would love to try the Made Good bars!
Taralynn McNitt says

Taralynn McNitt says
Yes you do! 😊 So sweet of you to think of your sister-in-law!
harriet says
What a fantastic idea for filling the Christmas stockings, defiantly going to rethink how I fill them this year. my favourite thing to receive in a stocking is a new cook book, I use it as a challenge to see how many recipes I can make from it before the following Christmas. The platinum brain ease would be amazing to try especially after a long day at work, I have already seen my planner for Jan through to April next year and it’s scary crazy. This year I would love to give my mum self care she has had a pretty stressful year with work and having to rush home to London due to family, I have been thinking of getting her an oil defuser for Christmas.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend.
Taralynn McNitt says
I love the idea of adding a new cookbook!

Hi, Taralynn! Lots of great ideas and such cute festive photos! All products sound awesome, but I’d love to try Wedderspoon Organic Manuka Honey Pops first as the benefits of Manuka honey are awesome and really beneficial in colder seasons.. My favourite things to receive in the stocking are self-care/mindfulness related as it’s easy to get carried away with holiday rush and panic and start some unhealthy habits. I love those gentle reminders to pause, breathe in, take a break. I’m also obsessed about coffee and anything book related, but those usually are too large to fit into a stocking :)))) Have a lovely winter holiday season! Hugs to Grumples and Leo!

I want to give some self care products to my amazing husband! He does the morning routine and takes our daughter to school every morning so that I can go workout at my CrossFit box before I head to work. He deserves some self care goodies as a gift for all that he does to make it possible for me to care for myself too!
Heather Jelinek says
I would love to give some “Self Care” Items to my mom! She’s always burning the candle at both ends and does so much for everyone!!! Taralynn McNitt says
Such a great idea for mom!!!

I absolutely love the idea of a self-care stocking! To answer question #3, I definitely want to give the gift of self-care to my sister. She’s a massage therapist and is always hooking our family up with free massages, facials, beauty products, etc. and never let’s us pay her, so she is very deserving of something like this. Plus I know she uses essential oils at work, so it’s a gift that definitely wouldn’t go to waste. Thanks for the great ideas, and Merry Christmas!

I absolutely love all these self-care products. I would want to try all the self-care products from this post, but the Mickelberry Gardens Ginger Honey Tonic is the one I’m most interested in trying first.
My favorite thing to receive in a stocking is coffee. Coffee is my favorite thing in the world, and I cannot live without it, lol. I love trying new coffees, so anytime I receive coffee as a gift, I am ecstatic!
I want to give my sisters self-care this year. They both are mothers of small children and work full time jobs and never seem to take much time out for self-care. I’d love to be able to pamper them with items they can treat themselves with and feel a little more refreshed or relaxed.
Happy Holidays Taralynn! I love reading your posts!
Amanda says
I would love to try the Manuka Honey Pops. I’ve heard manuka honey is good when you have a cold (?). I’ve never tried it though!
I’d love to give the gift of self care to my mom. She is a very active person, but got sick for a big portion of the summer this year so had to take a step back from exercising. I think she would like trying fun products like these with me.
