I haven’t been able to write a real recap post in a long time. I’ve had so much going on and I hated keeping things from you guys. Now that everything is done and official, I can finally write about what’s been happening in my life.
And I’ll start at the very beginning…
It’s been almost ten days since I’ve updated anyone on my life. That is a long time and I won’t let that happen again.
When Kyle and I got home from Florida, we were zonked from the eleven-hour drive. We didn’t want to go out to dinner, but we also didn’t want to cook anything too fancy. We made it easy by heading to the grocery store and picking up some quick eats. I love taking advantage of the pre-marinated seafood at the grocery store. The bourbon salmon is awesome! We also picked up some crab cakes, quinoa with sweet potatoes, kale, and cheesy broccoli.
We also finished off the night with some mint Halo Top Ice Cream! I’m so happy they sell it at the Publix Grocery stores now.
I made sure to get a good night’s sleep because the next couple of weeks were going to be nonstop. I spent Tuesday and Wednesday boxing everything in my apartment up and loading the Uhaul with my dad. I was about to be homeless for ten days! WHATTTTT.
My dad and I busted our butts getting everything packed up and shoved into a fifteen-foot Uhaul. I’m so happy he served all those years in the military because he really knows how to pack! My muscles grew double in size from all the lifting. When you have solid wood furniture and a giant sectional couch…things get tough!
We weren’t done just yet. The next morning, we unloaded all of my stuff and carried it from my parent’s driveway all the way to their back shed, where it was going to be for the next week or so! I WAS SO EXHAUSTED.
We finished at 3 pm on Thursday. I wanted to crawl into bed and relax, but I had some fun plans! Unfortunately, I forgot to set aside some dress clothes. They were all boxed up and I was not about to go through them all! I had to run to the mall and pick out an outfit for the ballet before four! Thank you Target for making things easy 🙂
Meighan and I were invited to view the Charlotte Ballet’s dress rehearsal performance of The Nutcracker. We couldn’t wait!
It was so cold outside, but we bundled up and walked over to the Belk theater.
They had delicious appetizers and cocktails for us, and we also had the opportunity to talk to some of the amazing performers. They are so inspiring.
If you are in Charlotte or live in the Carolinas, I highly recommend seeing this show. It’s worth it! The stage was magical, the costumes were so pretty, the musicians were flawless, and the dancers were unreal. I felt like I was in a dream.
This was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
I was so busy moving and getting ready for the ballet that I hardly had time to eat. It was 10 PM when I got home and the only thing I had in me was almonds, a Starbucks latte, a macaroon, and champagne. I wanted food! I stopped at the Dandelion Market on the way back to Kyle’s and picked up food.
The Dandelion does everything on small plates. I love that because I can never decide what I want to eat, so I just order a smorgasbord. I had wings, salad, brussels sprouts, and pita with hummus. SOOOO GOOD.
Kyle had Friday off, so we went to Grumples’s vet for his yearly shots and exam. That’s when I found out he lost nine pounds! I was so happy because I have been watching his diet and taking him on long daily walks. My vet was so proud.
We had a little time to spare before we got there, so I stopped at Rush Espresso’s new location in Ballantyne and it’s adorable and spacey! Definitely adding to my list.
We spent the rest of the day at the DMV and then relaxing!
I went to the Holiday Home Tour in the Fourth Ward neighborhood on Friday night with some friends. It was amazing! The homes were so gorgeous. You can see all of my photos here!
Meighan and I met up early on Saturday morning for a run! Our running dates make my entire week. The cold fall air felt so nice:)
We did three fast-paced miles.
We ran from Uptown Charlotte to the Southend so we could have coffee at the Sunflour bakery. The last time we went to the Sunflour Bakery it was super hot outside. We had just finished a long walk and wanted something refreshing, so we skipped out on their coffee. I was excited to finally try a coffee!
I ordered a skim latte with four shots of espresso and it was really good! I also ordered a snack bar and pistachio macaroon to-go!
We walked back uptown.
We couldn’t help ourselves. We just had to walk through the Christmas in the park. I think this is so cool that Charlotte has this market for the holiday season! I am going to go with Kyle this weekend to walk around.
When I got back, Kyle and I headed to the car dealership and spent the rest of our day there! Thank goodness I brought my snack bar from the bakery 🙂
I had the most random meal for dinner, but it was delicious! I had organic minestrone soup with jalapeño cheese and goldfish. The extra cheddar whole grain goldfish are addictive. I fell asleep watching a Christmas movie.
Sunday morning protein waffles!
We found these protein waffles at Target and had to try them out. They are very inexpensive compared to all the other protein waffle brands. They also tasted so much better…We loved these!
After breakfast, I took Grumples for his morning stroll.
Kyle, Steve (Kyle’s friend), and I headed to the movies to go see Arrival on Sunday night. After the movies we headed the grocery stores so we could make enchiladas. You can find my recipe here!
I headed out on my run after Grumples’s walk. It was beautiful out and I wanted to soak up the last bit of fall.
I made my route circular so I could pass this house over and over! I ended at this spot so I could take some photos 🙂
I had to take Leo to his vet appointment on Monday night! He’s 29 pounds!:)
Good mooring to you too, Leo.
For breakfast, I had Chex with almond milk, almonds, and bananas! I did a Jillian Michaels video and then took the pups for a long walk.
After spending the day running errands, I roasted some vegetables to go with grilled chicken. It was a long day…
And the wine was necessary.
I turned on The Grinch, made some popcorn, and fell right asleep!
I headed to the dentist on Thursday morning. I can’t be the only one that enjoys going to the dentist…
RANDOM, BUT…These candles are to die for…they smell so good! I found them while I was at the grocery store and I highly recommend finding them!
I was so nervous on Thursday night. Friday was a big day for me! I sat around and hung out with my parents while sipping on some apple cider.
I was almost too nervous to eat, but I knew I needed something. My mom made me an omelet with spinach topped with cottage cheese.
AND JUST LIKE THAT…I BECAME A HOMEOWNER ON FRIDAY MORNING! It really is a stressful process, but I did it! I cannot believe I’m planting my roots and I’m so excited for this new chapter! Do you know how many DIY things I have planned?…
After closing at the lawyer’s office on Friday morning, I had a quick lunch and then started loading all of my things back into the Uhaul for another day of moving. This time it was much easier because we had Kyle and my mom helping us.
We finally finished unloading everything into my new home at 10 pm!
We were STARVING after all of the moving, so we headed out for dinner. We all started with a big plate of wings.
I ordered salmon with sweet potato fries and a side salad.
I just had to put my Christmas tree up immediately after dinner.
Falling asleep in my new home felt so good 🙂
Meighan came over to help me conquer my closet. She is the QUEEN of organizing.
My parents were also around helping me hang things and put everything together! I plan on painting and fixing up a T.V. console next week. I was so grateful to have everyone over helping me.
Kyle was so sweet. He headed to Starbucks on Saturday morning to pick up some coffee for my family, Meighan, and I. I don’t know how I got so lucky!
First breakfast in my new home! Coffee, spinach egg omelet, and pears.
As much as I would have loved to just relax and do nothing on Saturday night, I had plans. December is always a busy month because of all the parties and I love it.
I have to give ALL credit to my mom for this one. She knew I had Kyle’s company party to go to, so she went out and bought me the most adorable outfit. She really knows me well! She bought me a black velvet/lace leotard with bell sleeves, mini skirt, tights, black heels, black lace purse, and gold jewelry. I don’t think anyone could have picked out a better outfit. I am so lucky!
I was proud of myself because I got ready in an hour and headed to Kyle’s! That is a record for me. I’m getting good at this go go go thing. I wore my favorite Andrew Marc coat!
My hot date! 🙂
My parents took the pups to their house for the night so they could run around in the backyard. They were so good during the move! She sent me this photo and my heart just melted.
To top off a great weekend, Meighan and I met up for our run Sunday Morning!
It was 37 degrees out when we started. This is the coldest I’ve ever run in! We forgot there was a Panthers game, so we ran all around the tailgates to site see for a bit! It made the run really fun 🙂
The first mile was rough and the cold air was hard to breathe in. It eventually got easier. Running in the cold means gloves, a headband, warm socks, warm pants, and a warm top! BUNDLE BUNDLE BUNDLE.
See the headband around my head? Meighan made that out of an old t-shirt. She just cut the bottom and wrapped it twice. It stayed on perfectly!
We ran four miles and then walked the rest of the time. We didn’t want to overdo it until our bodies get used to running in the cold. We plan on four miles this Wednesday and then seven miles next Sunday!
MORE FUN NEWS? Meighan and I signed up for a half marathon. It is in New York City in April and we are so freaking excited. I’ve been wanting to do one, but fear has been stopping me. I can run eleven miles, but thirteen in a group of people running super fast…terrifying. But I think I’m ready!
I will be updating our training and eats every week, so you can follow along! 🙂 I also want to blog about how we started running together. This is the perfect way to stay motivated all winter long!
It wouldn’t be a proper winter running date without lattes! We took off our gloves and had delicious lattes at Coco & The Director. It’s an adorable spot located uptown.
Running is fun, but the coffee and girl talk is my favorite.
I headed HOME <3 afterwards and took the pups for a two mile walk around my neighborhood.
After our walk, I headed to the grocery store to pick up some food for the house. I found my favorite gluten free chocolate chip cookies!
I made dinner and relaxed for the rest of the night. I had carrots and hummus, ground turkey, and quinoa rice pasta. I plan on making a meal prep this week too.
Grumples and Leo felt right at home.
ZONKED.
So this is my first blog post from my new home 🙂 I can’t wait to share decor ideas, DIY projects, and my journey with you! Thank you guys for being so patient and kind to me the past few weeks! I’ve wanted to spill everything, but I wanted everything to go smoothly first. Also, how cute is this candle?!?! It’s from Define Design Etsy shop! 🙂
QUESTIONS FOR YOU!
- What advice can you give me for my half marathon?
- What is something you do once a week that makes you happy?
- Now that I’m caught up and can finally take a breather, what would you like me to blog about?

CONGRATULATIONS on your house! I had a feeling it might be this when I saw boxes and a freshly organized closet on SnapChat! I can not wait to see all of your DIY’s and how it all comes together!
I also like about a million things in this post….
I’m so proud of you and Grumples for getting him to a healthier weight! Leo must be growing like a weed since has officially passed Moose on the size scale ha! I love the picture of Grumples and Leo on the couch with your parents, dog who snuggle each other are the most adorable!
I also love the dentist so your not alone on that ha! Clean teeth are the BEST! Everyone I tell this to looks at me like Im crazy!
Your ballet adventure looked like an amazing time! It literally made me hop on google to find a show near me!
Now for questions!
I ran a half marathon on a whim years ago…. You are already way past my advice of ‘don’t do it on a whim’ also don’t stress about it, at the end of the day really just being able to finish is Such a big WIN!
I love taking long walks with Moose, although that is more daily than weekly. Reading your recaps and posts with a cup of coffee is another thing I look forward to weekly… So thank you for this source of happiness. Baking also makes me happy so you can usually find something sweet and fresh out of the oven… today is ginger molasses cookies!
For Blog-spiration… I love stories and pictures of Leo and Grumples, restaurant / coffee shop reviews, new recipes, anything DIY related too! Maybe a post about what your reading, watching, netflixing now that your not moving! 🙂
*p.s. I made your enchilada recipe and it is AMAZING!! I will defiantly be making it again! My husband even said “wherever you got this recipe, keep getting more recipes from there”… so looks like I’ll be making more of your recipes!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Carly!!
I had a hard time keeping the secret and I just wanted to share it all!!!
I am so proud of Grumps too and he seems much happier. It’s wonderful 😀
Moose is such a lucky dog! & I love hearing that you read my blogs to relax! That means a lot to me.
THAT IS SO GREAT!!:) Glad you enjoyed those enchiladas! I need to post more of my mom’s recipes!

Good luck with the half marathon!!! I hope to be at that level one day! LOVE the new house, its gorgeous! I used to live in charlotte…. its an AMAZING city! Other than the traffic!!!! Worse traffic ever! I would love to hear all about how you are training for the half and what accomodations and such do you have planned for NYC, any good bargains or deals that you have found!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Megan!
Good thing I work from home. The traffic is only going to get worse because of how fast it’s growing! I do LOVE CLT though!

I have run 2 marathons and about 6 half marathons and the best advice I can give is despite the adrenaline and surrondings.. pace yourself! Don’t go out too fast 🙂 Besides that, you are so ready and it will be an awesome experience.
Congrats on the new home!
Katie @ Katie Wanders
Taralynn McNitt says
I will have “PACE YOURSELF” stuck in my head for sure!! I hope to be at your level one day!!! xo xo

My husband and I just bought our first home as well! I have had so much fun decorating it and searching for DIY projects. My best friend is going to school for interior design so she is loving having my house to be her first ‘project’ and I am super loving having her help! I am so excited you are also on this home-owner journey and I hope we can share ideas! 🙂
My husband and I promised when we got married to never stop dating. So one night a week we make sure to go out on a date together. It’s nice to relax with him at the end of the week and catch up. Things can get so busy during the week with work and everything else going on so we always make sure to enjoy that quality time together.
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Olivia!
Congrats on your home!
I’d love to share ideas 🙂 Pinterest has been my best friend!
That is the cutest 🙂 I love that. I think that is a wonderful thing to do!!!

You will rock it on your half marathon! If you can run 11 I promise you can run 13. The longest I ever ran before my first half was 10 and I was just fine! The adrenaline will help you 😉 And congrats on buying your first home!! That is so amazing<3
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Molly!
I think adrenaline will be my best friend 🙂 I’m hoping to finish! I don’t want to worry about speed!

I have no advice on running unfortunately 🙁
I like to bake so I try to do that once a week!
I would love to see you blog about more recipe ideas! I love your recipes! I’m starting a dietbet soon and dinner ideas would be amazing 🙂 love your blog! So happy for you and your new home!!! Can’t wait to see your decor soon!!
Merry almost Christmas!

I am going to start baking again. I used to do it all the time and then life happened. I want to make healthy treats for training!
Thanks for all the kind words and recipes are going to be here soon!! xo xo & happy almost Christmas!
Abbie says
Pace yourself! I ran my first half marathon two summers ago and not going to lie, it was very intimidating. All those people starting off with you but beginning super fast and zoom past you BUT dont follow their lead (; i remember people bolting past me at the start but within a few miles I was passing them because they failed to pace themselves and started too quick! So just practice and pace yourself!! Stay positive through it too (:
Taralynn McNitt says
YES! I remember doing that during my last 5k and I ended up placing first in my age division and passing people who were sprinting. You’re SO RIGHT! xo & thanks for the advice.
Becky says
Congratulations!!! What an exciting (and grown up) chapter in your life! I can’t wait to hear about your DIY and decorating projects. From what I’ve seen on your blog, you’re very creative and artsy so I’m sure it will look great!
1. What advice can you give me for my half marathon?
Not much that’s worth anything since I have never trained for or been able to run that much distance. I’m good with just being able to run a 5k, and maybe a 10k someday if I’m feeling ambitious. I think you need to try not to psych yourself out and keep doing what you’re doing. Think of it as any other run with your running buddy.
2. What is something you do once a week that makes you happy?
This is going to sound really strange but I love grocery shopping with my fiance every weekend. I’ve loved it ever since we moved in together a few years ago, I think because it feels like such a normal and grown up thing to do. We were together for a long time before moving in together, so I really appreciate the little things about living together.
3. Now that I’m caught up and can finally take a breather, what would you like me to blog about?
I’m really excited for you to blog about decorating your home. I think you have a great home decor style and I’d love to draw inspiration from your projects and decor.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Becky! 🙂
That is great advice! I will try to just relax and treat it like any other run!
Not strange. You’d be surprised how many people LOVE grocery shopping. It’s VERY therapeutic. I love that you guys do it together! Kyle and I love walking to the grocery store for desserts lol
Thanks so much!! I can’t wait to blog about that stuff!
Thank you for taking the time to comment xo
Ashley Breanna says
Wow, exciting! Congrats! Is it an older home, like the ones you are always gushing about on your blog?
Either way, it looks great!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Ashley! Thank you so much!
It’s not an older home like the ones I’m obsessed with. Maybe one day 🙂 This was just built. xo xo
Jess says
I want you and Kyle to get married 🙁 Congrats on the house though!
Taralynn McNitt says
Lol thank you! 😉

CONGRATS ON YOUR HOUSE!!!! How exciting! We have been renting for years because we haven’t wanted to plant our roots in a place we didn’t like. And a half marathon is SUPER exciting! We ran our first one in May and I was super nervous and double nervous as I was doing a Whole30 too. I loaded on bananas and almonds before the race and ran 10 miles 2 weeks before. So I didn’t run 13 miles straight before the race! But the other runners are such a great motivator and we pushed through it!!! I know you will do AWESOME!
Taralynn McNitt says
THANKS SO MUCH!!
& Thanks for the half marathon advice! 🙂 I am going to keep trying! & hopefully I can do this!!

Please share where that cute skirt is from your mom picked out? And congratulations on your new home!!

She bought that for me at Cato for 11.99!! SERIOUS WIN! 🙂

So excited for you! Enjoy decorating your new home and making it your own! One thing I have been doing to make myself happy would be squeezing in time for the elliptical. It’s my quiet time and I’ve really needed that in this season of life! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Laura!
I hope you also have a Merry Christmas! So glad you make that time for yourself. SO IMPORTANT! XO

1) I have never run a half marathon so I don’t have any personal advice other than stay positive and you got this!!
2) This may sound weird but I LOVE to go grocery shopping, especially at Trader Joe’s. So much that I look forward to doing it once a week (usually on Saturday morning). I love strolling around and looking at their new items, people watching, and getting all my favorite foods.
3) Can’t wait to see more posts about your home decor and DIYs!
Congratulations on your new home!!! It looks so beautiful 🙂 Moving can be overwhelming but just take it one day at a time and have fun with the process of unpacking and setting everything up.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks Zey! (LOVE that name btw)
Being positive is everything!
That is not weird at all I LOVE IT and especially at places like Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Earthfare!
Thanks for all the positive advice! xo

Congrats on the new home! I closed on my first house just over a month ago and couldn’t be happier! Had to go outside of Charlotte (leaving plaza midwood was hard!), but the place is 110 years old and has so much gorgeous character with just enough room to put my own spin on it! Is your place still right in Charlotte?
Taralynn McNitt says
Your new place is 110 years old?! OMG! That must be so beautiful. You’re so right! Charlotte is a little pricey but always a good investment!:) Congrats on closing as well! xo

Hi Taralynn,
CONGRATS on buying a house!!! 🙂 That is so exciting!! Gosh, I am so soo excited for you – DIY projects and setting up a new home sound so fun! And congrats on signing up for your first half!! You’ve had what sounds like an awesome week and a half! Which race in NYC are you running? If possible, I would love to come down and cheer you on! My parents don’t live too far from the city. I’m looking forward to running one together someday – I just ran my seventh half marathon yesterday, and there’s noooo way I’m stopping anytime soon haha 🙂 Thanks for sharing all your wonderful news! <3
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Elizabeth!!!
Thank you so much. I keep saying I’m going to do this and do that! All weekend things because right now, it feels so good to just sit back and be moved in! It hasn’t really sank in yet. I’m going to text you. come cheer me on?? GIRL YOU SHOULD RUN THE RACE!!!
I’ll be talking to you soon!! & thank you so much!! xo xo
Alice Stone says
Congratulations that is so exciting!! Your new home is beautiful 🙂 Your Christmas tree makes it extra cozy.
How did you like Arrival? I saw it on Thanksgiving and it made me cry.
1. I have never run a half marathon before so I am not qualified to give advice, sorry. I mostly use workout videos on YouTube like Rebecca Louise and Jillian Michaels, Jane Fonda, and Tone It Up to exercise
2. Reading makes me very happy and I try to do it more than once a week. Currently I am reading a futuristic suspense novel called Archetype by MD Waters, I highly recommend it.
3. I love your weekly updates the most, I really look forward to them 🙂 you inspire me to get in shape and eat healthier and I love your Christmas spirit. I guess it would be nice to see some fashion related posts like outfit of the day? Also maybe some interior design posts? I always thought you coordinated your bedroom so well for each season.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Alice!! It’s a little simple one but I love it! It was the first Christmas tree I ever bought for myself and I never plan on letting it go haha!
I liked it……but I need to watch it again to figure out my exact thoughts.
I love workout videos too!
Glad you take the time to read:)
Thank you for the kind words and I love hearing that you enjoy reading my blogs!
YES Decor ones for sure!!
Melissa FitzGerald says
Ahhhh Taralynn! I’m so so excited for you! I’ve been following your blog for probably way too long (at least since you lived in Chicago, if not earlier… I remember being SO bummed because you left Chicago like a month before I moved here!) and I’m loving all the positivity I’m seeing all over your posts. Didn’t realize it was possible to be this happy for someone I’ve never met 🙂 I can’t wait to see all your posts about making your new house your home!
I can’t give advice on marathons, ’cause I can’t run. So all I can stay is stay fueled & hydrated & I’ll be sending you all of the good vibes! 🙂
Once a week, I make sure to take myself on a coffee date. There’s lots of amazing coffee shops around Chicago, and it’s so nice to sit and enjoy a latte with no one but my headphones for company. My schedule is insane and this helps me keep my cool a bit. 🙂
I would love, love, love if you could blog a bit more about managing your finances. I know you’ve done it in the past, but owning a home at your age is so exciting and I’d love a bit more insight as to how you pulled off this feat! And maybe even some more tips & tricks for people looking to start their own blog… I’ve been thinking more and more about diving into the blogging world, but some of it seems so overwhelming and crazy.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Melissa!!
Wow Chicago feels like FOREVER ago. Your words mean so much to me and it makes me so happy 🙂 Thank you for that.
PLEASE SEND ME THOSE POSITIVE VIBES!
I miss the coffee in Chicago! 🙂 Are you living in the city?
That is a very good idea for a post. I love spending money, but saving for a home was very important to me! Took me almost six years! Giving up little things helped. I will definitely do a blog.

CONGRATS ON BUYING A HOME!
1. First of all. So excited you’re finally running a half! I’m running a local Pittsburgh one in April, so we’ll probably have similar training schedules going on. So I would love to see you blog all about that. Advice? There’s the tried & true, “nothing new on race day”. But I would say run at least a time or two in the rain and cold if you can. You feel like a crazy person when you’re doing it, but my first FULL MARATHON it rained the whole damn time. And my sports bra + rain was no bueno. I wish I would have tested that all beforehand.
2. I actually really enjoy grocery shopping. So you’ll never see me skipping that. Haha. I’ve also just come to love taking extra time with my coffee on the weekends. I’ll crush 1/2 – 3/4 of a 12 cup pot over the course of an hour or two on a weekend morning.
3. I love your weekly recaps like this, but would love to see you blog more about your running, and how you’re training for your first half. I always love meal prep // grocery shopping posts. And would LOVE to see some home DIYs & tutorials. My fiance is super handy, but I know I could do half of what I ask him to do myself if I had a tutorial in front of me.
Also, if for any reason there isn’t room in the new place for that coffee mug collection? Yeah, you can just mail that all right here. They’re like the one thing I actually collect & buy.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks Jessie!!!!
That is really good advice! I’m going to do that for sure and I need to be prepared because….APRIL SHOWERS.
I love grocery shopping too:) Especially for the house and my new fridge is a dream. You know you’re getting older when it’s a fridge that makes you excited.
Those are all things I would love to start blogging about! 🙂 My dad is sooooo handy and I need him to start helping me with these DIY posts.
OMG…my mugs are ridiculous. THE DIY mug rack is the nest thing I need to do.
Amy says
Best half marathon advice I ever got and it made my first one pretty good – drink a Gatorade (or G2 to cut sugar) a day leading up to it. Eat your carb loading fun 2 days before (not 1) and focus on protein the day before.
Also make sure to hit the bathroom ONE LAST time before you start 🙂 I ran 13.1 with a full bladder haha not the most fun.
I’m running the Pittsburgh half again in May 🙂 good luck and congrats on the house! Can’t wait to read your adventures and your tips for training!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks for the advice! I’ll try doing that 🙂
I always make sure to not drink two hours before a long run!
Good luck on your half!!!

I so knew you were buying a house!! I just had a feeling 🙂
Don’t stress about the half! There will be people faster than you, but there will also be many slower than you. It’s your first one, I wouldn’t even think about the time you finish. Just do it do finish and finally say you completed a half!
I would love to see you blog about house updates. My fiancé does home remodel for a living so he’s completely flipped our house… brought it from the 70’s into this decade. If you do any major remodeling be sure to take lot of before and after pictures.
Enjoy!!
Taralynn McNitt says
You had the right feeling 😉
I am definitely going in with that exact mindset!!!
My house is pretty new, so it’ll be a lot of DECOR and adding pieces here and there, but I would LOVE to see your before and after shots!!!
Camille says
Congrats on the home, I bought my home last year and nothing is more exciting or terrifying! It is so nice to have a place to call your own. I can’t wait to get some ideas from you, I’m terrible at decor, all I’ve done is paint haha 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Yes I was terrified at first, but it’s a wonderful choice and great investment while I’m young! It hasn’t sank in just yet! I’m doing all the painting this weekend!
Nicole says
Congrats on the new house! That is such an amazing accomplishment! Love reading your blogs. Thanks for posting 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Nicole!!!! 🙂

Taralynn,
I ran my first half marathon a year and a half ago, and now I have done 9 altogether and a marathon! Once you do your first one, I’m sure you will be addicted 🙂 I followed a 12 week training plan for my first half marathon, and I felt very prepared during the race. My main goal for my first half was to finish. With your first one being in New York, there will be lots of people around which for me personally is very motivating! The atmosphere at a race is just amazing and I can’t even describe it. Carbo loading the week before, and getting a good nights sleep the night before the race are two things I always do. Also make sure you experiment with fueling yourself during long runs. I have tried different gu’s, but I find that I like the ones with caffeine the best because they give me the best energy boost. I also use cliff shot bloks during the race. It’s best to experiment around and see what works best for you! But my best advice is to really enjoy the journey up to race day. 🙂 It will be hard at times, but so worth it once you cross the finish line!
I do yoga once a week on Sunday nights which makes me super happy and really puts me in a calming mood for the week to come. I’m a busy college student, so yoga really helps me to stay calm and happy!
I think it would be cool if you wrote about how you got into blogging and things you have learned throughout your journey thus far! I think many people would find inspiration in that. I know I would!
Hailey
Taralynn McNitt says
OMG that is awesome! I hope to be on your level soon!!! That is so inspiring.
All of your advice was so helpful! Do you have an instagram where you keep track of training and running? would love to follow!!
I love yoga too!!! I like to do it once a week for about twenty minutes. I use youtube videos.
That is a great blog idea!
xo
Lexie says
Congrats on the new home! It’s beautiful! I’ve been following your blog for quite a while now and I look forward to all your posts! 🙂
I’m curious, do you just strictly run or do you ever lift weights as well? I’m looking for a new workout routine!
Also, (sorry if this sounds creepy) but did you decide to live near or far away from your parents home?
Lexie
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks Lexie!!
I do love doing strength training! Boot camp and Jillian michael videos! My parents moved down south a couple years ago so they’ll always be pretty close! 🙂
Sara says
Congratulations on buying your first place! I just bought mine in July and I love it. It’s especially great with dogs because you don’t have to worry about paying pet fees, breed restrictions, etc. Enjoy your new space!
Also, I feel you on the running anxiety. I just signed up for my first half marathon in February. I have run 13 miles on my own before but I’m so anxious about doing it in a “race” and just knowing there will be so many people there faster than me makes me nervous. It’s a great first step though and I’m sure we will both be so proud when it’s over. 😉 I live about 45 min north of Charlotte and when I woke up on Sunday morning, it was 19 degrees! I had to run before church and it was so cold!!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Sara!
Congrats to you as well 😉
It was soooooooo cold Sunday!!! but I did it and I felt proud:) Nice job running in the cold as well. Thank you for the running advice!
courtney sim says
been dying to hear your news and I am SO happy for you! your place looks beautiful already but I can’t wait to see everything you do! I’m STILL in the process of decorating my house (a year and a half later) so I bet you’ll give me some inspiration!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Courtney!!!!
I’ve been Pinteresting SO MANY ideas!!! Congrats on your home as well!
Jennifer says
Taralynn how EXCITING! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I can’t wait to own a house one day. It’s a lot of work but so worth it!
Unfortunately no advice for running a half since I’m only at the 5k level… the best thing I can give ya is make sure you have a good playlist 😉
The one thing I do at least once a week is take a bath! I love bubbles and it’s the perfect time for me to relax with a book. I LOVE lush bath bombs!
Obviously home decor/DIYs/Reno/Anything house related (I’m moving to a new apartment in January.. SO EXCITED), also healthy desserts b/c I have a sweets problem and can never have too many ideas, and third I know you’ve moved so many times so I was thinking maybe an organizational post/tips on moving to a new home/apartment/etc. Hope this helps 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Jennifer!
Very rewarding. PLAYLISTS ARE EVERYTHING!
LUSH HAVE THE BEST:) I found a whole box of them in storage while I was packing. WIN WIN WIN!
New apartments are fun!! How are you doing on the job front? Finally find something new?
Jennifer says
You lucky duck!! I wish I had a whole box of them haha
No not yet! I’ve had some interviews/phone interviews but they ended up being a joke or not what I want at all. I’ve taken some “assessments” today and yesterday so crossing my fingers for more interviews! Hopefully soon 🙂
Heather @ Polyglot Jot says
Congratulations!! You deserve all of the good things that come your way…you are a very dedicated hard worker! Looks like a beautiful home!
Every day I try to take 30-45 minutes to myself to listen to something relaxing and enjoy some tea and just enjoy being alone and cozy. It helps me stay sane during the rest of the busy days!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Heather!!
That means a lot to me 🙂 That hour of cozy time is so important. I work hard during the mornings and then make sure to workout an hour and at night while eating dinner I like to cut off ALL technology! That keeps me sane! Sometimes disconnecting is the best.
xo xo
Crystal says
congrats taralynn! running a race sounds phenomenal! I’ve never done one, but my best advice would be remain in the moment and enjoy! remember just that you’ve signed up and did it is amazing. love that you made your first a destinational race! I’m rooting for you!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Crystal!
Those words mean a a lot:) I’ll be remembering that! xo xo
liuye says
WOW Tara , that is amazing!
What advice can you give me for my half marathon?—-I dont know, maybe just follwing your .own breath and beat, do not push too hard, – I have never ran a halfmarathon, eventhough my best run history is 15 km(1h40minutes) ,HOWEVER just like you said , its different that in a group of people running super fast,so i don’t have experience about this, enjoy your marathon
2.What is something you do once a week that makes you happy?—-well new year is coming, I know I would be busy in whole january.2017, so many plans, so FOR NOW, I actually have to concentrate on study, because I know i can not after 20 days, so basically i stay in coffee bar or home study study study…. however i enjoy it,stay in warm room ,cups of black coffee, so exercise when i neea take a break,It’s good
3.Now that I’m caught up and can finally take a breather, what would you like me to blog about?—-Actually i really wanna see your whole new house, what it would be like, my department is different ,so chinese, so love to see your new home.
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Liuye!
You are very right! I need to run at my own pace and not worry about anything going on around me!
Coffee is the best down time and it makes me happy too!
I will be doing before and afters for sure!!
Jessica says
CONGRATS!! That’s incredible. Your place looks amazing so far:). Question for you. Where did you get those hanging shelves in your closet ?! All the ones I’m finding don’t look like wide and I have a lot of clothes!! Lol thanks!!!
Taralynn McNitt says
IKEA!!! They have them in almost every color! THeyre only like $7!
Emily says
Congratulations on your new home, how exciting!! I also love that there’s a bottle of wine from Cats Paw Winery in that picture! They have been my favorite winery ever since my boyfriend and I first discovered them in June, the peach wine is the best 😉 I can’t wait to see all of your DIY projects for the new house!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you so much Emily!
THAT WINE IS SO GOOD. I can’t wait to actually visit the winery! I heard the peach wine is really good!! xo xo
Kendall says
Congrats on the house Taralynn!! I’m so excited for you!
1. I’ve never run a half marathon (but I’m hoping to next December!) but from friends of mine who have run one, they’ve always told me to not have big expectations for my first race, but to just have fun! 🙂
2. Something I do once a week that makes me happy is every Sunday my fiancé and I get Starbucks and talk before church. It’s just a really nice time to digress with him and just enjoy some peaceful moments.
3. Hmm, since your friend Meighan is really good at organizing it’d be cool if you teamed up with her to write a post about how to get organized for the new year! But other than that I can’t wait to see your post about how you guys started running together!
I’ve loved your blog for years, thank you for always posting and being so open on your blog! I think that’s a really brave and neat thing!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Kendall!
Thank you 🙂
You’re friends are right! I just want to finish and have fun with it!
I love that!!! I used to do that after church and I made it a new years resolution to start going back to church every Sunday. I used to go every Sunday but for some reason stopped over the summer and I need to make it back.
YES!!! THAT IS A BRILLLLLIANT idea.
& thank you so much for the kind words about my blog. That really made my day 🙂
Bobbie says
I would suggest following a half marathon training plan. I love Hal Higdon’s. The different types of workouts really get you ready to run your best race. And following a plan, checking off completed workouts is more motivating than just going for a run. Good luck!
Taralynn McNitt says
Yup!:) I have Hal Higdon’s printed out! xo
Katy says
The house looks so gorge. How did you like the Cats Paw wine? Isn’t that in Rock Hill?
Taralynn McNitt says

I ran the DC Cherry Blossom in the spring and the Baltimore half marathon in the fall. I recommend doing a shorter race before the half just to get your feet wet! I didn’t train for the half marathon at all- like I ran 3 miles a week and then 13 miles a few days before the race so I knew mentally I could do it. Well it was good for me mentally, but really stupid physically. Make sure you DO NOT run that far the week of your race. I did fine for the half but was totally gassed. Also make sure you practice running with the your exact same fuel you plan on racing with, and if you can- at the same time. I did all my practice runs in the evening but doing them in the morning helped train me for when I would actually be racing. Good luck! It’s so fun!!
Taralynn McNitt says
Yes! Shorter races are smart. I’ll try to find some 🙂 I always do one in March! I will have to start practicing running early morning for sure! I’m an afternooner! 🙂 Thank you for all your advice.

Congrats Taralynn! How exciting a new home! Can’t wait to see all of the diy stuff and all of your decorating.

You are 25 and bought a house. I hope you feel very proud of yourself because I’m 25 and can barely pay rent with two roommates. You just inspired me to quit going out on the weekends and start saving. Congrats to you Taralynn

Thank you very much! Going out on the weekends can get SUPER expensive! Just start saving all of that money now! You’ll be ready in no time 🙂 xo xo

Congratulations!! Being a home-owner is just the best! The feeling that you can do with the place whatever you want, that no-one can come in and tell you to move out, the responsibility, I love it! So great you get to have that now as well! How many bedrooms does it have? Will you be able to stay there for quite a few years?
So cool!!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Ayla!
Thanks so much 🙂 I’m very excited. It has three bedrooms (my room, the office, spare bedroom) and 3 baths. I plan on staying here as long as I can! You never know what life throws at you though! 😉 xo
Jenn says
CONGRATS on the new place! I can’t wait to see different decor ideas – I’m moving (from FL to NY!) next month, so I could always use some decorating inspiration.
1. I’ve done 10 half marathons before, and my best advice is to pace yourself at the start. You’ll be really excited and pumped by the crowds (especially in NY!), so try not to go out at full blast so you have something for the finish 🙂
2. It’s more than once a week, but going to the gym makes me happy. I recently got ditched by a dude for another girl, so it’s been helping me get my frustrations out.
3. I’d love to see some life advice kinda posts. You seem to happy and together in life, and it’s always motivating to hear how people can accomplish that!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you!!
10?? what! I hope to be able to say that one day. PACING IS EVERYTHING:)
I am sorry to hear that, BUT HIS LOSS and unfortunately it’ll probably happen to that girl too. The gym is the best outlet for breakups or bad times. This too shall pass and you’ll come out stronger!!!!
Funny you mentioned that. I was just thinking about writing a post about where I’m at now in life and how I’ve found happiness over the years.
XO

Congrats on the new house! I bet you feel great officially having a place with your name on it!
I’m not a runner for several reasons that are more just excuses, but also because I putting too much strain on my knees causes pain. But it’s so awesome that you’re pushing yourself! I’ll be praying for you that you stay healthy and avoid injuries so that you will be completely ready to do your best. You’ll do great!
Something I do once a week that makes me happy….I WISH I could say it was date night…but that’s only a couple times a month. (It still makes me happy though. 😉 ) But, we go to my parents’ house once a week and spend the day with them and I love watching them with my kids. It makes me happy.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Zoe!
It really does feel great. I appreciate all of your prayers and I think that is what I need most.
I love that. I go to my parents house a couple times a week as well and I love that time with them. I bet your parents love spending time with the kids and I bet the kids love it just as much! xo

1. That’s so exciting that you’re planning to do a half marathon in April! I don’t have any advice…I’m aiming for my first one in June.:)
2. Hmmm…. Long run…church/Sunday school…T-group (Small Bible study/fellowship)…settling down on Sundays for a long journaling or reading session.
3. Home Tour!!! Please!!! The little glimpses of your house look wonderful, but I’d love to see more! And half-marathon training…I’d love to see your progress!

So happy for you, long time reader but never commented before But for this exciting news I had to!! I’m so happy for you, getting your own place is such an achievement! I just knew you were going to announce your engagement…..lol. But he’s a cutie anyway and you both seem so happy and really compliment one another. I have a great training plan I can send you, I used it for my first half. I ran the Rock n’ Roll in SAN Antonio on Dec 4th with the worst weather ever….rain, wind and 50 degrees…..hello body glide and aquaphor!!! Definitely pace yourself, I used a bracelet I printed out online and my Garmin to keep me on track, the adrenaline and spectators really helped me the last mile or so, my longest run prior to the half was 10 miles so I was a little worried but in the end I beat my time by 5 minutes so I know you’ll do just fine. Enjoy it!!
Once a week…hmm.. with 2 boys under the age of 4 I don’t get much me time but wine, halo ice cream and a few good episodes of something on Netflix is a guilty pleasure!
Love your blog, always looking forward to catching up on things in your world!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Julie!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment 🙂 Kyle is really the greatest! I’ve never been happier in my entire life. I feel so very lucky.
I would LOVE for you to send me the training plan. I am using the Hal Hidgon, but I’m always open to new plans. My email is on my side bar! Sounds like you really got nailed with bad weather, but you rocked it!!!! That is inspiring.
Sounds like you REALLY have your hands full! Holy Moly! I can definitely relate to relaxing with some Halo Top and Netflix!!!

Ah congratulations! I can’t wait for your DIY posts 🙂 I am so happy to hear that you signed up for a half marathon!
One of the best advice I read.. was to be prepared for people heavier than you/older than you/ pushing a baby in a stroller.. to pass you. And to not let it phase you one bit. That totally
happened to me but I was happy I was prepared for it. I just ran it the way I wanted to and didn’t let other people passing me, bother me. AND it was seriously so much fun, the energy
was amazing and I think running it in the winter time is the way to go.
Can’t wait to hear about it ❤️
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Kat!
I know I’ll definitely be getting passed and I’m ok with that! I just want to finish! 😀
Winter running is SO new to me but I like it! xo

Congratulations on buying your first home!!
Early year I went to buy a house but ended up buying a 1973 Volkswagen kombi van to travel around in (it’s a house on wheels) .
Wow a 1/2 marathon that’s awesome, i have never done one but would like to do one in the next 3 years.
Once a week I love to bake something new, it has to be healthy and sugarfree which can be a challenge some weeks.
A blog on how you get yourself motivated everyday for running/exercise, would be great. I am struggling at the moment to get motivated as my work is extremely busy with it being summer in NZ.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Harriet!
That is literally the COOLEST thing I’ve ever heard. Do you blog about your adventures? instagram? Ahhh i just want to follow!
You can definitely do it!
Definitely a challenge, but so fun to do! I plan on making some yummy treats this week!
I think thats a great idea for a post.
Harriet Adlam says
It was the best decision I ever made getting the van.

I will have to follow! That is so cool 🙂

Hi Taralynn 🙂
I´m so happy you did it. Having your own place called home has to be a wonderful feeling. I share a flat with two other people but I wish to have my own place soon as well. But for now it´s imposisble because the prices in Barcelona are extremely high. Maybe in one-two years it would be finally possible but now…
1 ) I´m not a runner so I don´t have a lot about marathon. The only thing I can advise is to believe in yourself. I´m sure you will do it great, you´ve been running from years!
2) What makes me happy is dancing. I have my salsa/bachata classes ones per week but many times I go more often because it relaxes me and really helps me when I´m in the bad mood 🙂 Dancing means a lot to me.
3) I would be happy if you write about your decor ideas 🙂
Cheers from Barcelona!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Milena!
I bet you’re never home in Barcelona! I’d be out exploring all the time 🙂 I want to go there one day!
& thank you for the words of encouragement.
Oh that sounds like so much fun! I wish I was a good dancer!
I definitely plan on that 🙂

Ahh! Taralynn!! I’m so excited for you!
– Kodiak Cakes are absolutely AMAZINGGG!!! I use to eat them constantly with a banana and drizzle PB2 on top!
– So excited you purchased a house! When I saw “planted my roots” I started freaking out because I thought you were leaving us in Charlotte! If you don’t mind me asking, did you purchase in Uptown? I really want a place in Fourth Ward (I’m totally obsessed with that area) but it’s so expensive 🙁 I’m in the market to buy as well!
So happy for you! Still hoping I’ll run into you one of these days on my runs!
Have a wonderful week xoxo
Taralynn McNitt says
Hey Girl!
They are delicious! 🙂 I can’t believe I was spending so much money on the other brands when they were sitting on the Target shelves all along.
The fourth ward is GORGEOUS. I actually saw some condos for sale for like $169,000 and I was shocked at the price. I didn’t purchase uptown, but my boyfriend lives uptown in the fourth ward so I get to hang out there all the time. I LOVE Charlotte, but I’m not a huge city girl. Coming from Iowa…..I do love Charlotte and all the surrounding areas though! Luckily Kyle is in the middle of it all.
We will have to get together on a run sometime!

Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Laura!
I definitely think running comes easier to some and harder for others. It took me a while to really get decent at running and I always have to remind myself to do other workouts as well! That is awesome you have run multiple! What other workouts do you do?

Congrats on your new adventure!! I totally thought you were going to say that you and Kyle were moving in together — so, I got the moving part right 🙂 The best advice I can give you about having a house is A: something will inevitability break or go haywire once you move in and B: to hold of making any major design decisions until you’ve lived in the space for a little while — I am surprised how much my tastes changed!
Taralynn McNitt says
Lol you did the get moving part right 🙂
That is great advice. Luckily the house is new so I don’t have to make any crazy changes to it! Other than some paint colors!! 😉 xo xo

Good morning.
I have been following your blog for sometime now and I just wanted to tell you that you are such an inspiring person! When I think about eating unhealthy I can just read your blog and I’m back on track 🙂
As for the half I just finished the St.Jude half about 2 weeks ago. It’s my 4th one and the only real advice that I have as silly as it sounds is make sure to go potty before you line up and try to not get to excited and blow all your energy the first few miles. Gotta pace. I honestly think you’ll be fine looking at some of your past runs. Your training so you’ll do great!
Something I do for me is getting up early, working out and read your blogs. I have 2 girls who are 3yr and 4yr so quiet time is my happy.
I really like pretty much anything you blog about. It’s just inspiring to me to see how other women fit everything into a busy day! Lover seeing pics of the pups too!

Hi Katy!!
That is so great:) I love hearing that!
That is not silly at all. I can definitely see why that’s important! Congrats on your half. I bet the St. Jude half was so rewarding. & Thank you for the words of encouragement!
Nice job on waking up and working out! I’m sure that is hard with kids so young because if I were you, I’d just want to relax!! & hearing you read my blogs to relax is so sweet!!! Made my day!!
Thank you for all the kind words! My day is made xo xo xo

Congrats on your new home! How exciting! I’m sure you’ll decorate it so cute!
You are so going to love doing your first half marathon! I’ve run 4 and just finished my first full marathon a few months ago! My best advice is to pace yourself in the beginning. Some people start out way too strong and then tire out quickly making 13.1 an even longer way than it should feel. Also, practice your fuel before race day on your long runs. You don’t want to get out there and try a new fuel source and then get sick during the race. No fun at all! But you’ve been doing so awesome with your runs, so there’s no double you’ll do amazing! They’re so much fun and my favorite distance. It is a long distance but definitely doable!

Thanks Chelsea!!
I agree. Pacing is everything!! I need to start experiencing with fuel for sure!
xo xo & thanks so much for the advice. I need to check out your blog!

Congratulations! Buying your first home is a wonderful milestone!
And you’ll do great in your race. I’ve completed 6 half marathons (one was a half ironman), and I always base my training on Hal Higdon’s Novice 2 plan. The best advice I can give you is to stick to your plan and trust the process. Don’t overtrain, don’t undertrain– just do the mileage that’s prescribed. Also, don’t stress about it! Running is fun, and that’s the whole reason you’re doing the race in the first place. Just run your own race and don’t worry about what anyone else is doing. 🙂

Thank you!!
6?? Ok…I’m all ears! I have been following the Hal Hidgons! You’re right. It’s all about the fun! luckily I have my running buddy with me!:)

I have run 3 halves (PR of 1:43) and due to how often I get injured, I only run 2-3 times per week. I joined a Fleet Feet running group for this last half I did and it really helped me stay motivated to do long runs when i was doing it with other people. My advice would be not to worry and stress. I can tell you from my experience, that before this last half I had to take FOUR WEEKS off a month before and I chose not to let it get to my head and I still ended up getting a PR! Pacing is everything. My first two halves I went out way too fast and it made the half miserable. With this last one, I made sure to check my watch every mile for my pace to make sure I wasn’t going out of control. Same thing I would say for fuel-do not stress. I only eat a banana before and made sure to stop at gatorade stops at mile 5,7,9, and 11 for extra electrolytes. I only ran 11 miles before this last half and that was plenty! You can definitely do it!

Hi Emily!
I run about 2-3 times a week as well. I usually do 3 miles, 4 miles, and then a long run (6-9) I have the best training partner that keeps me motivated and it REALLLLLLY helps. Thanks for all the tips!!!! Means so much 🙂

You will do just fine running a half if you are 4 months out and can run 11 miles. Before I ran a half, our long runs were only 10 miles (not recommended). Adrenaline carriers you. If you’re worried about running too fast, follow pacers. I’m sure they have them for the NYC half !
I had some cramping issues during my training. I cut out gluten and that did the trick! Gluten free oats were my best friend. I also have terrible feet! (High arches, bunions,
Surgery on one foot). And let me just tell you that the best shoes for the aforementioned issues are Newtons!! Seriously game changers.
Anyways those are my tips/ ramblings about running! Good luck !
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks Kelsey!
I agree that adrenaline will carry me for sure!
That is funny you mention that. I have cut out gluten for the past twenty days and it’s made a HUGE difference in my inflammation and aches. I’ve always been an Asics girl, so I’ll have to try out the Newtons. I’m afraid of change, but I’ll look into them!
xo xo thanks so much

Also, I’m sure you’re well aware but drink tons of water the day before your long runs! I drank my weight in ounces before the half and it really helps. The last 3 miles I had Gatorade at the water stations. And had about 2-3 gel packs during the run. Everyone is different. But water, water, water!
Taralynn McNitt says
Thanks Kelsey!!
I’ll make sure to stay super hydrated!

1. I ran my first half marathon this past May! I was terrified, but I loved it and I’m planning do do another on this coming year. If I had any advice it would be to be sure you keep up with your training schedule and be sure you don’t start to fast! I ran my first 3 miles a little faster than I had planned because when I got there and started my adrenaline was going with all the people around and it hurt me my last few Miles. Don’t forget to enjoy it while your are running! Also be sure to train in all weather. I hadn’t trained in the rain any and it rained my last 3 miles so that threw me for a loop as well. Just stay positive and good luck!!
2. I like to just sit and be a bum for a few hours lol. Just sit and not think about anything or do anything. I stay busy so it’s just how I like to unwind.
3. I love all your posts. I’m excited to see how your decorate your house and I’m looking forward to reading about your training!
