Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a fantastic week, only one more day until the weekend! 🙂
I am excited to partner up with Foxbrim and talk about some really amazing certified organic products with you. I try to workout at least six times a week and all of the sun mixed with sweat (Ew, I know) can really take toll on my skin. I have been sticking to a skin routine using Foxbrim products for the past week and I feel like it’s actually making a difference. I’ve pretty much ditched the makeup (minus my mascara) and I’m loving all the skin improvements.
Foxbrim has all kinds of different skin and haircare products. They are organic and all natural, which is what I’ve been trying to transition to. Every time I run out of my favorite lotion or makeup product, I replace it with a similar organic brand. I’d really like to get rid of all toxic chemicals around my place, including cleaning products.
I feel really good about using Foxbrim products because they are never tested on animals and do not contain any animal product. I recently found out that some of my favorite products contain animal products that resulted in animal cruelty. It made me pretty sick to my stomach.
Foxbrim wants their customers to be happy, so they have a no questions asked, 100% satisfaction guarantee. You can get a refund for your purchase if you’re not happy with the results or the product. I’m pretty confident you’ll love the outcome.
Sometimes I go from being out with my friends straight to a workout, or church to workout. I don’t get the chance to clean off my makeup, so I make sure to exfoliate and cleanse well after my workout.
This past week…
I start with the 100% Natural Makeup Remover & Facial Oil. I love how well this removed my makeup, without drying out my skin. It’s made with grape seed, macadamia, jojoba and avocado oils.
Benefits of these oils: moisturizes skin, penetrates blocked pores, cleanses breakouts, increases production of collagen, keeps skin plump, decreases effects of aging, hydrates the skin, supports skin healing, treats skin infections with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
I couldn’t figure out why I was breaking out so much with my previous make-up remover until my dermatologist told me that the alcohol in my face wash was stripping my skin and drying it out.
After I cleanse my face with the makeup remover oil, I use the Dead Sea Mud Mask. The mask has ancient healing minerals of the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea’s silt and mud in the water have skin-purifying benefits. This mask is rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron. Those are all essential when it comes to maintaining healthy skin.
I’ve noticed that my acne spots have faded tremendously since using these products.
The ingredients are so clean and healthy that you could probably get away with eating it (Not that you should.) I usually steer clear from organic and all natural products like this because they are extremely pricy, but Foxbrim is affordable and budget friendly for everyone. Foxbrim sources their products in really small batches to keep them fresh and delivered with exceptional value.
I leave the mask on while having coffee for about fifteen minutes. The mask comes off gently with warm water. After I wash my face, I add a 100% pure castor oil to my sun spots, scars, acne, under eyes, and lips.
The 100% pure castor oil is so soothing and can help acne, eyelash growth, psoriasis, dry skin, chapped skin, sunburns, and more. You can also use it for a pre-shave oil, lip treatment, taming hair frizz, or makeup removal.
I’ve been using mascara and a little under eye make-up this past week because my skin is looking great without any of the extras. I’ve never been a huge makeup person, so it feels good to be confident in my own skin again.
If you are struggling with your skin, I highly recommend giving the natural approach a shot! I don’t think I’ll ever go back. You can take 15% off your entire Foxbrim order with code: TARALYNN15!
Questions for you!
- Do you have a skin routine?
- Do you use organic products on your skin?
- What is one skin flaw you struggle with?

This stuff looks great! My biggest skin issue would have to be in my scalp where I have eczema. I used tar shampoo to try and control it forever until I found another shampoo that worked (thank God) last spring.
Taralynn McNitt says
Thank you Mackenzie!
Glad you found something that helps and I’m sorry you have to deal with that. Sounds annoying 🙁

Thanks Taralynn for always having great product reccomendations!! I’ve been trying to use more organic and less chemical products myself. I only use natural products for my hair and it’s done wonders. Over the past year I’ve been struggling with painful cystic acne. I used to barely wear makeup, but now feel a bit self conscious due to acne around my chin. Just trying to find relief, and I think harsh chemicals just make it worse. Maybe I’ll give this brand a try once my stuff runs out.
Taralynn McNitt says
You’re welcome kelli!
I also only use the natural products for my hair. I use a coconut oil base and it makes it super soft and healthy. The only issue I find is that it gets “greasier” faster because of the oils, so I have to wash it more and more. Other than that, I love the change.
I feel the same way about my acne and this summer it’s gotten worse from all the sweat and makeup.
Let me know if this helps! I’ve definitely noticed the difference and have been makeup free for a week now!

Kelli says
Yes, I love using coconut oil for hair, skin softening, and recently started using it for oil pulling. Soooo many health benefits with coconut oil. I agree though, it does give your hairy a slightly greasy feeling.
Awesome, will do! Planning to order it tomorrow. I’m hoping it will help calm my skin down.
Taralynn McNitt says
I do the oil pulling everyday while my coffee is brewing!

Kelli says
Wow, this stuff is amazing!!! I’ve been using it for a week, and instantly started to see my skin more refreshed and hydrated. It’s also doing wonders for my acne. I’ve noticed less popping up on my face. Thanks again! 🙂

These products look really good! I have a question for you and I don’t want to attack you or anything. But why do you say it’s important for you that no animals are harmed and that they don’t contain animal products ? Because you eat meat right? I’m just asking as a vegetarian. 😉 I’m curious what your thoughts are. Don’t get me wrong every bit helps. The less animals that are hurt the better.
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Lauren!
That is actually a really good question and I totally understand it. I eat meat for survival and I like to make sure my meat comes from animals that were NEVER harmed. I eat meat for food, but don’t believe in wearing it or agree with the way a lot of animals are treated for products. I found out that some of my lotions had animal product in it, but not the good kind. The way these companies were killing these animals were horrible and unbelievably sad.
xo
Lauren says
Yes and that’s so true. Animal testing especially for something as “unimportant” as cosmetics is just ridiculous. If you go to a restaurant do you also check where the meat is from? Thank you for replying. These are my favorite type of topics to discuss and talk about. 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Lauren!
I do try to pay attention to those details! I don’t eat at fast food places and make sure that the places i eat source their products. I love that a lot of Charlotte restaurants work with a lot of local farms.
XO
Lauren says
That’s great. I understand that a lot of people don’t want to be a vegetarian, but little things like this also help. I would love to go to Charlotte one day. You always make is seem such a wonderful place.
Melissa says
I don’t really I’ve found it a hard habit to get in to because I don’t have any products I’ve really liked! I havnt tried any organic products though. You’ve inspired me to give those a try!
I’ve always struggled with pimples on my face and upper body which can make you feel super ugly some days! Blegh lol
Taralynn McNitt says
You’ll definitely be able to notice the difference. I love this routine and I think it’s finally sticking. I get excited to put the mask on after I brush my teeth at night.
I get breakouts during my monthly cycle and it’s so annoying. I know how you feel!

These products look great! I’m literally looking at which I to order now!
I do try to religiously wash and moisturize as a routine, but I could be better about it! I am never too specific about the products I use. But these look and sound way better than the usual ‘whatever’ so I could become a Foxbrim junkie. I feel like my skin struggles with different things at different times of the year… dry in the winter, oily in the summer, always could be more even and bright.
Taralynn McNitt says
I know I could be better at it as well! Sometimes I wash my face in the shower and I think it’s good enough, but I know i could be doing more. I think the seasons have everything to do with skin and especially food choices.
Abby says
These products look awesome! I would definitely try the eye makeup remover for the days I wear it. I find that mine doesn’t quite take all my mascara off and the next morning when I wake up I look like a raccoon. I just bought the Yes to Tomatoes clay/mud mask and it’s really done wonders on my skin and it’s 96% natural, but I would love to try this company’s mud mask as well. Do you find that the castor oil breaks your skin out? My skin is combination so I worry my T-zone would break out, but my outer cheeks would love the oil!
Best,
Abby
Julie says
I have really sensitive skin, would you still recommend it?
Taralynn McNitt says
I don’t know much about sensitive skin or what products your skin is sensitive to. I recommend this over the toxic products, but you should talk with your dermatologist!;) (almost spelled it demonologist lol)

I’ve been lucky, I have never had acne and only had the occasional spot. I think it’s because I drink a crazy amount of water, but who knows. So I try to never put anything on my face in case I do something to mess up my great skin luck. I always wish I could wear a face mask though, it looks so fun and girlie!
Also, can we just talk about how gorgeous that blue mug you have is? It’s perfection!

Hi Brooklyn!
SO LUCKY GIRL.
I know water has something to do with it. I don’t drink enough which is probably my problem.
that blue mug was like $4 from the grocery store lol
Linda @ The Fitty says
Vegan and organic? That sounds fan-freakingtastic! I don’t use skincare much as I’m just getting into makeup. 🙂
Taralynn McNitt says
Yes! Very amazing 🙂 You are so naturally beautiful that you don’t need makeup, but it’s fun sometimes!
Danielle says
I swear by argan oil for just about everything – face, nails, and hair. And I just happen to use Foxbrim’s.
Taralynn McNitt says
Argan oil is the best! I love putting it on the ends of my hair.
Chelsea says
I was never big on a skin care routine until recently – and oh my goodness! I can’t believe I didn’t do this for myself sooner. I use all Lush products. They’re organic and animal friendly. I recently purchased a makeup remover and toner from them. I use those each night before bed along with a moisturizer from them, as well as an exfoliating wash for in the mornings in the shower. I also use a mask from them a few times a week.
I get what you mean when you say you’re grateful to finally be comfortable in your own skin! I feel the same way. I’ve had acne issues my entire life and they’re completely gone now.
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Chelsea!
Yes a routine is a must!! I always can tell when I stop keeping up with it.
Love that you’re so confident!

Hannah says
I’m shocked at how inexpensive this is!
My lush products (organic and vegan friendly) break my bank.
I wish I had a better routine:(
Taralynn McNitt says
Yes. I loved how cheap they were as well!
You can always start a routine 🙂
Amanda says
Hi! I’m currently using acne treatment products but as soon as my skin clears up I absolutely want to switch back to natural products. Do you use a cleanser or wash your face with water, or do you just cleanse with the makeup remover?
Thanks!
Taralynn McNitt says
Hi Amanda!
I use the makeup remover and then wash my face with water before doing the mask!
xo
Alison says
Do you do this routine in the morning or night or both? 🙂
Jenna Nolten says
I love this post! I was so surprised you mentioned that your face wash breaks out your skin, because I use a face wash too and my skin has been breaking out too! I was already wondering what could be the reason.. but I am starting to think the face wash, because I usually switch between different kind of brands. This one seems not to be working for me! I love it that this brand isn’t too expensive! Makes me wanna try it ^^
Nikki says
Do you ever use essential oils? I just started using them with my face washing routine and they are amazing. Of course you need a good quality essential oil. I use young living
Alexandria says
Hi Taralynn,
Do you have a fashwash that you recommend? I have been trying to start a new routine and I came across this page awhile ago and was wondering if you had any suggestions! lmk! Thank you!
Sarah says
HI Taralynn! I seriously love Foxbrim since trying it on your recommendation. What face wipe or cloth do you use the make up remover on to take your makeup off?
