Nick and I had a busy morning. That meant no morning breakfasts or being lazy with coffee. After all the running around, we stopped at Bakersfield in Dilworth for Lunch. It’s a cute rustic restaurant with a bar.
We started out with their signature queso & chips.
The best part about being an adult is having Margaritas at noon!
Everything on their menu is made fresh daily and you can really tell!
I ordered the Johnny Salad. It came with mixed greens, bacon, cotija cheese, hearts of palm, avocado, red onion, toasted almonds, and a side of buttermilk chive dressing. It was definitely up there with one of the best salads I’ve ever had!
Nick ordered the chicken chorizo. It came with black beans chicken chorizo, salsa verde, queso fresco, cilantro and shredded romaine.
Such a great lunch!
