A couple nights ago, I made the simplest, most delicious, and crispiest red potatoes! I picked up a bag of red potatoes at the farmers market down the street and originally planned on making mini french fries, but got lazy and decided to make wedges! And I’m so glad I did because they were awesome!
Al you need is red potatoes, water for boiling, olive oil, garlic powder, brown sugar, onion powder, salt, and pepper!
Bring water to a boil and add potatoes with a pinch of salt. Boil potatoes until tender. Let them cool in cold water and then slice them into wedges. In a large bowl, toss them in olive oil. Heat oven to 400 degrees, and spread out the potatoes. Sprinkle garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and brown sugar over the potatoes. Toss them around on the pan and then add more salt and pepper. Bake for 35 -45 minutes. Continue to toss ever 10-15 minutes.
They have so much flavor and they were the hit of the dinner table! You can use any potatoes with this recipe!

These sound amazing! I made your other brown-sugar potatoes a few months ago and they were great, but I think I would like these better because they sound crispier!
I have red potatoes in the kitchen, so I may have to give these a try! Thanks!

Yum! I always eat rice as my carb, but these potatoes look too good to pass up! Maybe it’s a Midwestern thing 🙂 Thanks for the recipe!
