Thank you Cheerios for sending me all the yummy pre-workout goodies! A couple of months ago, I ran a 5k and my pre-race fuel was a bowl of Cheerios. They reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try their new Cheerios Ancient Grains along with Chex Gluten Free Granola and of course I said yes!
I wasn’t expecting all the goodies, but it was greatly appreciated.
The Gluten Free Chex Granola looked so delicious and I couldn’t wait to try it. I mixed together plain greek yogurt with honey and topped it with the Chex and a drizzle of honey.
The Chex was so crunchy, filling, and sweet! It’s also good with almond milk or plain.
I can’t wait to make granola bars with the oats! The Ancient grains were very good too! I froze the dates and the cranberries and ate them on top of my yogurt and in my cereal!
Thanks Cheerios for the goodies!

All those goodies look yummy! And that Justin’s almond butter? I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve heard great things!

Wow! They really sent you a spread! That’s awesome.
And those gluten-free ones really do look good!

Does that honey say that it’s wild blackberry? If so, I didn’t know such a thing existed and will need to hunt some of that down! The granola also looks delicious so I’ll have to give that a try.

Whaaaaat I had no idea there was even such thing as Chex Granola (or Chex Oatmeal, either), that stuff looks awesome!

1. This wasn’t a review. It was a thank you to Cheerios for sending me their products. They didn’t ask to be reviewed.
2. I will pray for you.
3. Only God can judge me.
4. I forgive you.

This is awesome! I tried the Ancient Grain Cheerios and they’re really good. I want to do some kind of bar with them similar to Rice Krispie Treats but a tad healthier.
Taralynn McNitt says
I thought about doing the same thing! You could maybe use coconut oil with marshmallows! 🙂
Donna says
I will pray for her too. So proud and impressed by the way you replied to this obviously very “angry at life”. person. Be blessed

But you didn’t ACTUALLY consume that parfait because you had either had too much coffee, or had too many calories for the day right?
And even though they didn’t ASK to be reviewed, they are implying that they want a review by sending you things. You don’t have to be specifically asked to do something to do it.
ML Bishop says
Taralynn I’m sorry you get these wack jobs commenting on your posts! I’m glad you shake it off- what a sad world they must live in if they spend energy on things like that.

Yikes, looks like the internet bullies had a little too much free time on their hands when they read this.
Kudos for not feeding into the hateful comments Taralynn.
Your recipes are always spot on, delicious, and I sincerely appreciate the wide variety of options you put out there (vegetarian, gluten free, etc!). This one looks particularly yummy and like it would be a great pre-run snack (soy yogurt for me!).
You are SO LOVED by your readers, so keep doing what you do, because I look forward to your posts every day!

I just saw the Ancient Grain Cheerios and wondered if they would be any good so now I will definitely give them a try! Is that wild blackberry honey? I have never seen flavored honey before!
I am glad you can rise above the trolls and idiots who have nothing better to do than post mean comment and be buttheads!
